"All staff friendly and considerate couldn’t be more helpful seeing that I had had a part knee 10 days earlier and my wife had a broken wrist in plaster room small but it was booked at last minute and last room available but nice and clean and tidy good Wi-fi "

"The hotel is just outside the main city centre, but within easy walk of it, I chose the room for the price but was amazed when I saw the condition of it, the room was spacious and immaculate, an easy 4*, the room was well equipped and in top condition, it looked brand new. The only thing I could say is that people were using it as somewhere to stay when going out on the town, we were woken up in the small hours by the night guard telling next door to keep quiet even though the supposed "noise" they were making hadn't woken us up at all, so if your going out they like you to keep the noise down at night which is only fair, but they will wake most of the entire floor up knocking on your door and telling you off, so your likely to get some disgruntled looks in the morning!!"

"Check-in process was swift. Friendly staffs, big and clean room, comfortable bed and pillows, conveniently located near train station, walkable to city center (Eldon Square, St James Park, etc) and breakfast is provided. However the lifts at ground level were down throughout our stay due to other guest misuse the keycard access for the lifts. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here and will come back again if we visit Newcastle."

"Directly opposite the train station, so close to to the city centre and metro. There are some bars around, so it can get a bit noisy until late at night. On the 6th floor it didn't really bother us. There is no parking at the hotel, but a council car park is within 5-10 mins walk. Its, £7 per day, £3 on Sundays or £1.10/hour until 5pm when it becomes free. You can top-up by an app if it is left there more than one day. Be careful at the basement when exiting the car park - a sharp turn, the road drops sharply so you have no sight of the kerbs and its very narrow!) The room was very clean with plenty of space, a big shower and decent (mainly quiet) air conditioning. Having a sofa bed was useful, for a family stay. I also noticed a good adjustable office-type chair at the desk which would be great for business stays. Breakfast was mostly good; the exception being the sausages! Not sausages as I know them! Very strange."

"the hotel is on a busy road with ambulances passing quite frequently with sirens sounding, so not ideal for light sleepers. the secure car park was useful and there is a good bus service to the city centre. the room was clean and comfortable but with limited hanging space for clothes - just three hooks on back of door. not a problem for us as it was just a one-night stay. the room was nicely warm despite it being a cold night. the breakfast was good, with a choice of cereals, fruit, tea and coffee, brown and white toast, and cake."
