"I booked for a superior but I was upgraded to a delixe room which is spacious. It has a pantry with fridge and a dining table, a den with cable tv, a balcony with a drying rack, a bedroom ofcourse with another cable tv and a comfortable queen-size bed, a spacious toilet and shower room with heater. It's 4-star accomodation for me, best for family outings. Food at restaurant is great too and reasonably-priced. It's operated by Max's. Apart from the rooms, I like the design of the buildings which are similar to, if not Spanish archtecture. I like that they have swimmimgs pools too, for those who prefer them. And when it comes to the main part which is the beach, I totally dig it. Sand is flesh but turns white around mid-day when the sun is brightest. There are almost no waves during summer which means you can relax while soaking yourself into the salty waters. I love it that they put up big tents on the beach so that guests can still lay down on the sand covered from direct sunlight, at mid-day. That's a great idea since the Pinoys do not like to get a tan unlike the foreigners do. Also they setup some small cottages on the beach for picnics or just hanging-outs. I also noticed that they have beach activities such as banana boat riding and kayaking. They also have billiards and xbox at the clubhouse for rental ofcourse. I'm definetely going back. "

"This place is a good alternative for those who want to avoid expensive airfares to go to a nice beach. Just 3 hours from Manila via Tagaytay (great stopover by the way), I just got lucky that I was able to book this cheap. It's a private, members only, beach resort/private subdivision. Amara Residences are private condos (condotel) which some can be rented. So each unit comes with a kitchen which you can use to cook your own food (just bring dinnerware, cutlery, pots, and utensils if you do plan to cook your meals). The unit I was able to rent is a two-bedroom each with its own bathroom. There is a terrace overlooking the property, with jacuzzi. To go swimming, you go to their private beach where the restaurant and another swimming pool is located. I like the layout of the whole area and the beach is clean. The place is really well-maintained. Staff on both areas (condotel and beach area) are attentive and friendly. I will certainly come back if I can. Highly recommended."
