2019 Newly Remodeled Classic San Juan Caribe Hilton - Birthplace of the Pina Colada”
We enjoyed the quiet beach environment and had a great family fun time of the expansive multi-tier pool, with multiple poolside and beach areas for lounging. Centerpiece among the pools is a moderate sized infinity pool overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The atrium reception desk with fruit infused water, along with the connected Caribar restaurant bar for drinks and light bites area accentuate attention to detail at the Caribe Hilton. It reopened after extensive remodeling in May 2019. I recommend Hilton gold status to cover cost of available daily breakfast at onsite restaurant, Salitre del Caribe. Daily Pina Colada "tasting" offered from 12:30 to 1:00 near the pool is also a small notable treat. Given the $40 daily resort fee, I took a look at the gym. I was impressed with a brief tour of the spa, complete with ocean based spa decor and an aromatherapy scent that I wish I could take home. Old San Juan is within reach by $4-$12 Uber or Taxi.

Remarkable Resort at a Resonable Rate”
The resort is near historic old San Juan. The staff is very hospitable and helpfull. The private beach is the main attraction for a relaxing stay. The cuisine in Puerto Rico is top of the scale and so it is in the resort (five restaurants,each with its own particular cousine.

Price high ”
Tricks that hotels often use are setting a high price on their web site but advertise another low price by the travel agencies. For this Hilton, the official price is really high if you happened to book it through their website. You probably can get this hotel at a much lower price somewhere else, trust me. Facilities are good. Gym and beach, restaurants are a little expensive. All in all, it's a good place to stay if you have the money.

Staying at the Hilton was very exciting. Its the dandy among hotels in Puerto Rico. Service was goos. My only regret was not getting senoir discounts. Beds were very comfortable. Very rich look.

Nice Stay - Great Grounds”
Enjoyed my stay, especially the pool/beach area of the hotel, very beautiful, nice and clean. Friendly staff. Prices for food/drinks and almost everything else at this resort are high! Good location if you have business at the PR Convention Center. Was a little disappointed with my room, asked to see another and it wasn't much better, both needed some upgrades for the price they charge.

The staff were all exceptional; courteous, professional and helpful. We were in Wave tower, nice room, comfortable, very spacious bathroom. Service at the lobby bars for food or drink was way off and needs serious attention. When you're charging a $43 a day resort fee you shouldn't have to wait 30 minutes to get a waiter to take your order. The hotel used texting to notify us of events, the times were either too early ( hour before actually as l event) or they notify you for an initial time but not when they change it so you arrive on time to find out you missed the event. Lastly, it was a bit isolated for me, it was at least a mile from the Condado strip (east side of harbor) for restaurants, casinos, shops, etc. So good but certainly not great and overpriced when you add in the resort fee.

Staff was friendly and helpful It was very beautiful Not happy due to $43 a day resort fee tact on bill. This was not an all inclusive resort. All the restaurants food was expensive, so you spend a lot of extra money. Theres no shuttle service to pick you up from airport, so had to get a taxi, that was expensive, ice machine on my floor didn’t work, i changed rooms after first night, due to much construction noise in the morning, internet was sketchy maybe it was me, but I couldn’t get most the ‘automatic soap/sinks to work in public bathroom, rooms aren't very big etc

The location and room views were amazing beachfront and pool were great food was ok.staff was not so good specially in the breakfast dinner didn't check back onus for about 40 min we ordered still didn't have food not service from waiter we had to walkout.hotel has a Starbucks which is awesome.

Tuve la desagradable sorpresa al ir a pagar mi estadia, no correspondia con el costo concertado en la reserva por una diferencia superior a 300 $....llevando consigo una perdida de tiempo entre que comprobaron el error; hay que decir que al entrar en el hotel ofreci la copia de la reserva para que visualizaran las condiciones, no hicieron caso y me la devolvieron........solo tuve ese incidente, lo demas muy bien.

今回、初のプエルトリコでした。事前の情報収集が不十分だったこともあり、有名な洞窟や熱帯雨林に足を運ぶことはできませんでしたが、ホテル施設と旧市街の双方でふったり過ごすことが出来ました。プエルトリコでのホテルの選択は結構悩ましいところがありますが、ホテルでゆっくりしながら、プールやビーチでリラックスし、且つ、旧市街で有名な砦等を観光したいという方には適当なホテルだと思います。
