2nd timer”
This was our 2nd time to stay here because we fell inlove with the place. We tried to look for other transient for cheaper rates but we still chose to stay at Casa because they have the best location in Blue Lagoon that you could relax beside the shore because of their bean bags available. We can stargaze which the best part of our stay there. Although our last stay there was cloudy. I just hope they will upgrade their toilets because it's old and the cleanliness was not that good anymore compared to our 1st stay. I hope they could maintain their tropical vibes rooms and won't be like commercial building like other transients there. Definitely will be back again after 2 years. 😊😊😊

Lovely rooms, good food (love the garlic fried rice!), and price of the cheapest rooms is reasonable compared to other places this part of Pagudpud (book early). Crystal clear water. Just a little far from the other touristy sports and it's reflected in the trishaw prices.

If you don't mind walking to the beach”
Place is 8-10min walk away from the beach. Great service though. We ate bagnet in 4 different locations in Pagudpud and Vigan and they have the best although it might not always be available.

Perfect for those who wants to relax and hates crowds, We stayed there for 1 night with toddler,.The staffs are great but the lady owner or boss (not sure) she only greeted the guest "good morning doctor" but for the other guest, nothing (seen zoned!haha). The room is spacious. However, the room is very old and badly needs to clean specially the toilet.

Without even trying their credit card machine, they told us that their machine is not working so I had to pay in cash! It’s good that I have peso with me! I can’t imagine what we have to do if I do not have cash since the place is too far from the city. If they are not willing to be paid in credit card, they should state that in their hotel description to ensure that their guests have enough peso when they check in.

Beach is not swimmable. ”
Pros: * Clean and good smelling room * Comfortable beds * Has a small pool * Cool aircon * Parking Cons: * Beach is full of corals and not swimmable. * You need to walk a kilometer or so for a swim at the shared public beach. Contrary to what was in the photo 12/43 where you might expect a sandy beach, quite deceiving if I may say. * No signal for Globe users. * Non-existent wifi. Can’t open/browse. * Toilet had a bit of a foul smell * Restroom floor was wet because of a leak * Resort is old and rundown and needs a revamp. * Resort facilities are not well-maintained. * Food was so-so. Nothing spectacular.

Meeting to Exceeding Expectation”
Value for Money. Casa Consuelo Resort is a bit pricey compared to other resorts/hotel/apartment/transient house. But the place is worth the price. We even had upgrade during our visit. Thanks for the generosity of the owner and somehow thanks to the fair weather because they only had few guests. Location. If you want a secluded and very private space by the ocean, you would have to be patient in reaching Casa Consuelo. It is actually the last resort in Blue Lagoon's stretch where Dos Hermanos Island is situated. Just be careful on the way because the road conditions are still in progress. So like the photos, it's true that there are rock formations near the shore and it would really be too bad to miss a photo for IG. Also, if only we had the time, there are many activities to choose from like, snorkeling, surfing, hiking, etc. Cleanliness. We had no question with the cleanliness. It actually exceeded our expectation especially inside the comfort room. Around the place, you’ll see how upkeeps are done like no signs of dusts and litter in the pavilion, hammocks are all good, visible staff wiping off the windows etc. Staff. The staff were all attentive and smiling. Facilities. The infinity pool and hammocks made our experience very satisfying. The landscapes, architecture and interiors were so homey. Parking is spacious! We wish for an improvement of the lighting inside the room. Other than that, I'm excited to return there for a longer time during a better season. :)

Home away from home! ”
This review is long overdue! We stayed for 8 wonderful nights in Pagudpud at Casa Consuelo. Not only were the surroundings incredibly pristine and beautiful, the staff went out of their way to accomodate us and we felt so at ease and comfortable, just like at home. We travelled to a few places in the Philippines and this resort exceeded all expectations. The rooms are clean and designed In the Ilocos Norte style, and the food is incredible. It felt like we were dining In their family home, a wonderful experience. Chad's hand drawn maps and the family's travel advise made the journey very special. And how could we forget our daily walks with our new doggy pal Harlow, the resorts mascot! . This place is for those that want to get lost, relax and discover.
