Excellent service and a warm welcome”
I stayed here just one night on a quick stop in Hue, but the Casablanca Hotel was the best lodging decision of the trip. The staff was ultra accommodating, helpful, and spoke good English. I had requested an early check in planning an arrival around 10:00am. I knew that the request likely couldn't be met, but put it in anyway. They had the room ready by 10:45 and apologized for it even though I thought 10:45 was great. They offered a shower and breakfast while we waited. All that wasn't necessary but the thought was great. The room was the largest room I had in Vietnam and was very comfortable. The hotel is in a good location near the main river in the city. The staff can arrange for tours of the temples and transfers between Hue and Hoi An. I believe the cost for a private car transfer for two was $55 USD total. Anywho, I don't think you'll find better lodging unless you prefer that big hotel feel.

Great place to stay in HUÊ - Vietnam.”
Even though this was a work trip, I was lucky to be booked into this property. I had an amazing view from my third floor room of the area and the city skyline, along with liveable life style of Hue on the "Hương" river walk. The room was well-appointed, although the TV channel selections were limited...at least for a Aussie. The bed was comfortable and the shower was good. Will be back for sure.

Great Hotel”
The staff at the Casablanca extremely helpful which is the best thing about this hotel. The hotel is very nicely maintained. The rooms are large. The beds are great for an asian hotel. WIFI is super. My room included a freshly cooked breakfast and Vietnamese coffee which was nice. All this at a great price.

Warm environment, but rough around the edges”
The hotel is located a few minutes from the backpacker center, on a street full of food vendors. This lent to a more authentic local experience, which I enjoyed. Staff were wonderful and very willing to help with travel planning or questions about local destinations. They also offer tour packages to Hue attractions (although they charge a premium compared to booking directly from tour offices). There were a few downsides to the stay. While the location was good, the rooms had very thin walls and you could hear all the noise on the streets. Since the city wakes up early, this could mean you're hearing beeping and honking from motorcars as early as 5 or 6AM. The other issue I ran into was the draining system, which was backed up. Turning on the shower for 2 minutes meant the whole bathroom floor would be flooded by 2 inches of water, and it would take hours to drain. Unfortunately, the hotel staff weren't able to address the problem even after I brought it to attention. Believe the hotel offers a simple breakfast of baguette and scrambled eggs for an extra charge. No restaurant in the hotel, but wasn't a problem as local food vendors were a stone's throw away.

Great location, staff, and room”
It's right across from a bun bo hue shop that was very good. served only in the mornings! Also located a block away from bars for tourists and hostels. Staff spoke very good English and were helpful. One of the nicest staff I've encountered so far. We stayed In the delux double room and it was so spacious! Comfortable beds. Not too noisy from the streets. We enjoyed our stay. We stayed here twice! Highly recommend.

The best part of the Casablanca was the staff; they were very helpful and social with excellent English skills. The breakfast was very good. The room itself was ok but could used some updating; however for the money paid it was a great deal. The location is close enough to walk to the city center. All things considered, this was a good deal.

Very friendly staff, they made my brief stay in Hue very comfortable and easy. They arranged my travel to Hanoi via bus, made me nice little rice cakes as a snack while we were waiting and accommodated us graciously. I definitely recommend.

Nice hotel but check tour prices first”
Arrived fairly late in the evening after a long journey and were shown to our room quickly which we appreciated. The room was fine. Location is quite close to all the bars/restaurants which is convenient but means that it can be a little noisy at times, although not a major problem. After we dropped our bags off we headed out for dinner, as we got to reception we were already being offered tours for the next 2 days. The next morning (after a good breakfast included at the hotel) we visited a few tour companies and were offered much cheaper prices for the same tours. Overall, the hotel was good, relatively clean and hosts were nice. Would consider staying here again but just make sure you check tour prices first and get a fair price.

Best budget hotel in hue!”
I stayed in the five bed dorm room here for 6 nights. Each person gets a double bed each with a bathroom/shower facility dedicated to that room. Everything was cleaned every day I was there. The staff where incredibly friendly and super helpful from the moment I walked in the door. Ly, Tuyen and bong where the best hotel staff and actually some of the best people I have met during my 4 months in SEA. they all speak perfect English and are a lot of fun to be around. The hotel it's in a great location in be backpacker area but on a quieter street. Good choices on the breakfast menu which was free with my room and made fresh to order. Really can't say good enough things about this hotel. Best place I've stayed in Vietnam. 5 stars from bell ;)

Comfortable, friendly, convenientl”
I stayed here 3 nights & found the hotel & staff to be wonderful! Tuyere, Bong, & Truc were always smiling, offering me tea, making sure I was headed in the right direction, & that every need was met. The double room I had was great: laundry service, AC, hot shower, TV with movie channels & a comfy soft-ish bed & pillows!! They also book tours & transport on site. The location is fine - 30 min or less scenic walk to the Citadel, & restaurants & shopping are just outside. Definitely recommended

Almost bad but pretty good in hindsight”
This hotel just about does the job, but it looks a little too bare, unclean and worn out to be a good experience. The rooms are bare with signs of wear. The sheets in the bed had a couple of mystery spots. In the lobby I could see cleaning products piled around. The lady at the reception had a great vibe and was quite useful - probably the best part of the experience. Another employee - a young man - was worse than useless as he gave me the wrong time of departure for my bus to Phong Nha. His problem is most likely with speaking and understanding english more than anything, but he should still be more careful and work around that like most vietnamese people do. Basically, if you spend little time in your room and aren't a cleanliness freak, this hotel is a decent option because it is very affordable and well located. But don't have high expectations or you'll feel bummed out for sure.

Stayed here for a couple nights and was a little disappointed. The room was consistently damp for no apparent reason (the sheets and towels were damp when we came in, couldn't figure out why), the air conditioner did not work, the room was pretty small and our toilet didn't fresh great. Other than that it was a good place. Very friendly staff, good Central location, safe. Would go back for the price j

Comfortable, clean room with good shower and quiet enough in this busy area. Good breakfast and close to lots of restaurants and bars. Good value for money. Nam chased all the way to the railway station to give us something we had left in the room - I think this says it all :)
