There are no direct bus to Cat tien. Transportation from HCMC is hard to find for foreigners but the lodge could communicate with HCMC hotel stuff to complete it. One of my purposes to choose Cat tien was bird watching, then the lodge introduced me the best guide in the region who is long time friend with the lodge owner. As a result, my short tour was perfect. Thanks Tien!

Very clean accommodations with amazing family”
We made the mistake of booking the cheapest room and the beds are very firm which the Vietnamese prefer. Recommend upgrading to rooms with softer beds and AC geared towards westerners for not much more. Run by the daughter Tien who is so welcoming with perfect English. The lodge is on their 1.8 hectare farm full of fruit trees. Short walk to the information desk. Their meals were delicious as well and everything is fairly priced! Would definitely return!

If your travelling on the cheap it's a good spot to be. Even if its quiet at the lodge your right on the street so you see other travellers wandering by heading to the ferry. The daughters english is good so that makes life easier. The mom and dad are lovely too. Great place to meet like minded budget travellers.
