i had a great stay here at cave dives resort.this was a lovely place where the only thing we didnt have (due to my own stupidity) was aircon.situated right on the beach in camiguin this was an amazingly picturesque place that you could easily fall in love with.. for the smallest province in the philippines it is packed with things to do and places to see

Absolutely LOVED our stay at Caves Resort! As backpackers we were looking for something cheap and cheerful in Camiguin and wanted to be well located! Caves offer a backpacker room (twin room) for sooo cheap in comparison to other hostels!! The sunsets are AMAZING! Right outside our door as well! All the staff are super friendly and the place is kept so clean and tidy! So nice to have a clean bathroom!

The backpackers room is one of the best-value-for-money accommodations in Camiguin. The shared bathrooms are no hassle at all since only very few rooms share the bathrooms and they are always cleaned (bathrooms run regular water, no hot showers). Room price can't be beat and the rooms are directly by the beachfront! Wonderful staff, very friendly and helpful! Make sure to order the Filipino sashimi i.e. 'Kinilaw' from the hotel restaurant, it is the best on the island and always fresh!

Right on beach with good views of White Sands”
Had enjoyable time in Camiguin at Caves Dives Resort. The staff were friendly and arranged all tours to White Island and Mt Hibok Hiok. They have restuarant and have laundry service. I had fan room where i think was place in family room. Fan Rooms or Backpackers are adequated here and why pay more for air-con where fans do good job. Keep the doors closed especially at night cause of mosquitos. Also be careful of ants dont leave any open food!The garden is nice but some amenities need maintaining and upgrading. The water quality is problem on island and room could be cleaner like sheets and towels. Camiguin is must see destination in phils!

Good choice for divers”
I pick this resort for 2 reasons. First, it has a dive center in the resort even if the dive center is operated by another entity from the resort. Second, it is pretty close from the Camiguin airport so it only takes less than 20 minutes by tricycle (P100). Restaurant is good and the price is also very reasonable. I will definitely visit this resort again next time.

Caves Dive Resort is one of the oldest accommodation in Camiguin. Their rooms are walled with weaved bamboo or something which makes it unique, IMO. It is a walk to the main road ,where you can find some local shops/stores. Quite far away from anything, also from good restaurants or bars. Motorcycle is recommended.

Quiet and relaxing place”
I had a nice stay at Caves though I don't really know how to describe it in a busier season since I pretty much only saw the couple staying in the room next to mine. It is not a small place exactly so I don't know where all the guests were (or if there just weren't many). I had the backpackers room with shared bath and the room was comfortable (thank goodness for a functioning mosquito net!) and the bathroom was clean. Two towels were provided. The staff were helpful. I only ate breakfast there, which was fine but I cannot speak to their main meals. The one thing the place is sorely missing, which would be easy to remedy, are hammocks to relax in. It's a peaceful place (when the roosters aren't making noise) on the water, and hanging out in a hammock and reading would have been quite nice. Oh, the WiFi was fairly awful, though just how awful depended on the time of day. Since I couldn't see any other guests that were using it and thus slowing it down, I presume it is just not a good service they have.

The location is really nice. We booked the Backpacker's and accommodated at Room 1, beach front. We love the native room, except that the bath and toilet are common which is inconvenient if you have toddlers who go to the toilet often during nighttime. The sound of the waves and the see breeze lulled us to sleep. We opened the windows and turned off the fan. The busy fishermen at dawn are so refreshing and lovely to see. The sunrise and sunset views are truly amazing. There is one thing that left a negative impression, the staff at the reception. She was not accommodating as expected of someone at the reception. She did not smile. She seemed irritated with children. The room attendant was friendly, though. All in all, Caves is highly recommended. Value for money.

Read the reviews after booking this place and started to really worry about rats in the room, no private bathroom, paper thin walls, etc. But when we arrived, the whole area is actually quite nice and the rooms we got each had a bathroom ensuite. The room itself is quite basic and we got loads of bugs and had to kill a few mosquitoes before bed. Otherwise, it was pretty decent. Breakfast was so-so but the staff were all kind to us. :)

Accommodating Staff but Disappointing Room ”
We stayed at Caves Dive Resort for two nights. We arrived in the hotel late in the afternoon and we had our dinner. Surprisingly, food prices were quite expensive. We retired to our aircon cottage and again we were disappointed to find it to be just a small room. The shower is not separated from the toilet. Its saving grace was the hotel personnel who were very accommodating. We definitely will go back to Camiguin but not in this hotel.

The price was average, location good but the cheapest room type (backpackers) dont have private bathroom... Thats also something that Agoda doesn't refer when you book that type of room... They should be more strict with listings especially at Asian hotels and rooms. Staff was very polite and nice. Stayed there 4 nights... Rooms are made of bamboo... So expect some lizards and insects insode room as well. There are lot of places to stay neearby at similar prices but with much more to offer in terms of amenities and quality of service.

Not for solo backpackers”
Rooms shown as unavailable on booking sites but in reality they had vacant rooms. Walk in rate is more expensive than on Agoda. Cheaper accommodation and food is available on the island (e.g. Beach House offers single dorm beds). Attached dive shop is good.

this island is very beautiful,and you can go somewhere ride a motor or take the jeepny or take the tutu,the transportation here is convenient. the room is not big and simple,but open the window,you can see the sea,sleep on the waves all night. the staff here are so kind and friendly,thank you for answering my question and giving me the advice.and I left there in a hurry,I am ashamed that I didn't say goodbye,see you! I will come back one day.

We are a groupd of two and we rented the backpackers room. We loved the room from the moment we saw it, and thought it was better than what we had in the city even if its like a nipa hut house. We love it! I loved the sound of the ocean in the background, and it made me sleep well. The foods are great, and they can be for sharing.

No beach in December”
Was disappointed as it wasn't any beach in front of the resort... But local told me that it was because of the month I came in (December) and in 2months the sea will goes away letting appear a beach... Pillow really uncomfortable, and foo expensive but nice service. Ok resort but prefered the action geckos just next door!

Nice place with great sunset views”
Nice resort with good restaurant (if a little pricey). Hired a scotter from them for trips around the island. Gave us info on trips and places to see which was nice. We were there a little out of season so the place was quite quiet.
