Good hotel. Only issue was the TV has bad cable reception and no remote control. But still nice and recommended.

The location honestly was okay but you could stay on another hotel that are closer to the main city proper road. There were no restaurants besides or even at the hotel. The nearest is a few blocks away, though you can walk to go there, the roads doesn't have decent lighting and can be quite dark at night. Breakfast is okay.

Don't book this horrorhouse! Don't go there!!!”
After one year of traveling in Southeastasia with 162 different Hotels, Hostels and Guesthouses the Celadon Pensionne House was only very bad experience. We were booking a "Super Deluxe" Room with one "King Bed", but we got xtrem small room with one small bed, dark, very dirty and cockroach. There were no furniture inside, but mould and bad smell and a very noisy Aircondition. We ask the staff to show us another room, they did and we made the same bad experience. Unfortunately we booked in for three nights so we had to stay. Sleeping in this dirty dark holes was not reasonable. The staff offered us to upgrade to another kategorie and we did. There we had to pay 12 $ US more. They told us for three days, but at the end they ask 36 $ US. This room was a little bigger and had more light, but it was although moldy, dirty with a noisy AC, they did not make up the room and gave us only one towel, the bedlinnen was perforated with bloodspots and other, the TV did not work, only one light was working and without Wifi (available only at the rezeption) and the shower had only a small runnel of water, not possible to wash there.. We ask the rezeptionist several times to repair but nothing happend. We are always very courteous, the staff there not! The breakfast was very small and the dishes so dirty and sticky we did not eat... We did not see any other guest in there and now we know why. DON'T GO THERE!!!

It was comfortable and enjoyable, although the wifi plays up a lot. However, wifi in the Philippines is not great anywhere apart from 5 star hotels.

It is easily accessed thru public transpo, far from bus terminal and port but only one ride away. The room is decent and clean, and they have good friendly staff.

The place looks old but its fine. I booked 2 rooms. The tv in the other room was not properly working so i went down to raise my concern. They sent 1 person to try to fix the tv however that person just told us that he cant do anything its the signal caused by thunderstorm. So how come the tv in my room is working and the tv in the other is not because of thunderstorm? Take note the room is technically beside each other. Second, i got hungry around 11:30pm so i went down again to buy something. They sell noodles so i chose it and asked for hot water since they dont have a kettle inside the room. The girl tried to look for someone to do it and later on told me sorry they dont have hot water.

This the 2nd time i booked the hotel that turned out to be fully booked upon arrival. The price was too much for such an accomodation. They are trying to take advantage of the demand due to the influx of displaced families in marawi.
