The A/C was a bit light but overall a good stay. Amazing staff and excellent location to the train, restaurants, stores, bar and pretty much anything else you may find yourself wanting to visit.

Staff was great and accommodated a few unique requests. The hotel allows smoking in some of the rooms which means my hallway on the sixth floor smelled like stale cigarette air. Everybody that visited me during my stay made the same comment. The bathrooms are small but that’s is what you get in japan, I had no problems with the size of my room or bathroom. The cleanliness was absolutely great! Location is fantastic. If you’re coming with large luggage or oversized luggage and require a cart the elevator only goes to floor 2-9 so you have to be escorted by staff to use the freight elevator which is really a bad design. The breakfast was mediocre. Food is prepared too far in advance. On several morning I was walking out of the hotel at 6 and the food was already on the line as I watched through the lattice wall. I cannot understate how accommodating the staff was, really an excellent job. The laundry facilities are not free (like some previous reviews state). It’s only ¥500 for a load to wash and dry which is still cheap and the machines only take ¥100 coins so be prepared if you intend to wash clothing. Having to drop off and pick up your room key is a bit annoying for westerners since the lobby is out of the way but a very minor inconvenience if even that. Overall my experience was great except the stale smoke smell on the sixth floor. On one occasion I was walking past an older man’s room when he opened the door and the smell of cigarettes hit me in the face like one of mike Tyson’s punches. I don’t smoke and I also don’t mind the smell of smoke but smelling it in my living quarters is not an ideal situation either.

Good hotel for a short stay”
Only real issue we had was the A/C was not the best at all in our room but the windows do open and we were able to cool the room quite nicely that way. Good location to base if military and also right next to the train station. Malls, food and bars everywhere so pretty covered with that. And lastly the staff was great and always helpful and friendly.

The hotel is very close to the station. It just takes a few minutes to walk there so it's very convenient. They really do a good job cleaning your room! Lots of cafes nearby for breakfast or lunch. A good place to spend the night if you're in the area.

Three spiders in the room ”
I made this reservation for my mother and the first night she dated in the single room she found 3 black spiders around the bed and wall. She was asleep and started feeling itching so she turned the light of the room and found spiders on the bed and the wall. She killed them that night but she was not able to sleep thinking of the Spiders. She woke up and found another room be on the wall behind the TV stand and took a video of it. I called the front desk to inform what was going on and they came to check and moved her into a different room.

I book a non smoking room theu agoda.com and specifically request it in advance. When Inarrived at the hotel, the staff named Ito Masayoshi gave me a smoking room and keep insisting that that is all they have available. We are non smokers and we are not young anymore and Inasked them to give us a non smoking at keast 3x but Ito Masayoshi did not even care or listened. I left the hotel and found me another place. They said no change and no refund. I hope this does not happenned to a lot of people travelling in Yokosuka. Thank you.

4-5 Stars- I really enjoyed my time in Yokosuka. ”
Pros- Conveniently located next to the Yokosuka Chuo station. For a Japanese Business hotel, the room and the price were fairly matched. The English speaking staff at the front desk made my check in and check out experience very effortlessly. Cons- I can’t think of any. Unfortunately, the average sailor onboard one of the nearby American ships will probably overlook this place because their pay is too low, not that it’s too expensive. The thing that stood out- Traditional key that had to be turned in before leaving. I didn’t mind it, just can’t remember the last time I was given an actual key instead of a key card.

A block and a half from Yokosuka-Chuo train station. 12 minute walk to Navy pas office. Just walk down Blue Street & turn left. Plenty of restaurants, pubs shopping. I'll be back.

Nice Hotel for Business Traveler”
Wasn't my first choice of hotels in this area, but I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel exterior and entry/lobby looks amazing. The room was a little small, but nothing to complain about. They have a family restaurant in the hotel that has a very tasty, inexpensive breakfast. The train station is less than 5 minutes if walking.

All is good until this group of kids/students came in started running and playing along the corridors of 7th floor, getting in and out of each others' rooms. Also, I do not like the idea of centralized AC. It does not have temperature control for every room. Rooms were clean, and breakfast buffet was good too.

As a single female travelling alone”
I was a bit sketched out by the location of this place. I approached it unknowingly from the back and the first entrance I came upon with the hotel's name was in fact a very smokey casino that is on the lower floor. I was then directed around the corner to the front entrance, past a bar called "Fuck Yeah Rock Bar," and an extremely graphic porn shop. Once inside, the hotel itself wasn't terrible. The staff was friendly. The lobby was very nice. The room was small but clean. However, I paid more for a non smoking room and goodness the whole place just stunk of smoke.

Charged for 10 min over check out time”
Cleaning service was great during my stay. Washer and driers are free even though there are only 3 for multiple floors of guests. Sadly was charged 10 usd for roughly 8 min over my checkout time. Not great to retain customers. Also it’s a bit strange that you need to give your car keys every time you park your car there. Maybe just a new concept for me. Would stay again but wouldn’t be at the top of my list.
