Good value hotel”
The location is very good, a few minutes walk from Finsbury Park station. Check in was easy and all the staff I came across were friendly and helpful. The room was basic but very clean as was the en suite. There was quite a bit of outside noise when I went to bed but to be fair it was Saturday and I had the window open; however once I fell asleep I knew nothing until the alarm clock woke me in the morning. The bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was continental but there was plenty. I would certainly stay there again.

Positive: clean sheets, location. Negative: Old and decrepit house and room, thin walls, no WIFI in room, small double bed. Conclusion: This was one of the cheapest hotels we found in London, so we did not expect too much. But it was clean, they offered breakfast and the staff was friendly.

This is supposed to be an hotel. It is 2 storey with no lift. Every were is stairs . No good for people with difficulty. It is more a b& b than a hotel. Breakfast is only continental.

NEVER AGAIN”
Wish had not read the reviews before booking! On arrival staff were friendly. Room was small for two of us but okay. One of the single beds had springs poking through, there was no mattress cover on any of them, bottom sheets kept sliding off, the covers for the duvets were not long/big enough so the bottom part of the duvet stuck out. There was wind coming through the closed window - causing discomfort to my 10 year old grand daughter - in the end we had to move her bed closer to mine. The shower head was the widest I have ever seen and the the shower unit was really small - couldn't avoid getting your hair wet even if you tried. In the shower unit there were massive flakes of paint just hanging down. The up side was that towels although small were clean and clean ones brought in every day. The toilet was clean as was the sink. Breakfast was included but was really bad!! Had to upgrade to next door hotel for £3 each. Advice read reviews before booking!!

Wouldn’t stay again ”
The room was just a bed wardrobe and a fitted kitchen side which I would expect for the little amount I paid and I was fine with that room was reasonably clean the bedding was and that was the main thing we had somewhere to sleep that was clean even though it looked nothing like the pictures. our main problem was the bath room the toilet didn’t flush the handle just kept spinning round and I reported this to receptionist (who I don’t think understood what I was saying ) we went out for the day came back the toilet still wouldn’t flush but they had removed the tissue from the toilet also if we was to take a shower we would of had to hold the shower head ourselves. I feel the hotel failed to supply is with fully functioning facilities and lack on customer service staff. Also all the hallway floor boards creek really bad and you can hear people talking as if they was in the same room as us to the point we would wake up. Therefore I wouldn’t recommend

Need redecorating ”
Elevator out of service, door lock too loose and not feel safe, no air conditioning or fan, windows not secure and need repainting, water kettle not working, water taps too tight to turn on and off, floor not cleaning with dust and mud, wifi only available at the lounge but not at the room. Overall will not recommend for family.

Thought we were extras for a fast and furious film”
We booked this hotel as it was central and reasonably priced which it was. On arrival the staff were pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was dated and very basic, the room sparse but ideal if your just using it to put your head down. It was a mini heatwave so opened the windows to sleep, big mistake! No idea what was going on but clearly moterbike and car street racing which started around midnight and finished about 3am!! Not great with three young children. Looked clean enough but on closer inspection by five year old, old chewing gum stuck under top bunk, gross!! Breakfast included but non existent bit of meat, cheese and toast. We tend to use travel lodges when in London you know what your going to get, will stick them in the future!!

Total disappointment! ”
The smell of the room as we opened the door was horrendous! It stunk of damp and what I can only imagine as a drain smell the bedding was absolutely discusting it had not been changed no way I have photos to prove it had not been cleaned my partner went to complain at the reception where he was told they were fully booked so we couldn’t move rooms but was given some fresh bedding! Would never reccomend to come here I also wrote an email to request some kind of refund and no reply was given! Wouldn’t even give 1 star but had to give one star to submit this review!!!!!

Perfectly fine stay after seeing Arctic Monkeys”
Stayed here for the night after seeing Arctic Monkeys at Finsbury Park. The hotel was a perfect choice in terms of location being about a 5 minute walk from the station and right next to Finsbury Park. Check-in was fine (there was a bit of a queue but it was busy that weekend as you can imagine) and had no problem using the Agoda voucher. Initially we couldn't get the key card to work but a member of staff was happy to help and came up to the room and checked if it was working. I think we had a newly refurbished room and it was nice. The bathroom and sink were a bit small but the shower and toilet were clean and perfectly adequate. Overall had a good stay and it was the perfect choice for our purpose. Would definitely recommend for events at Finsbury Park.

Lovely family room, large, clean, very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast good for price. Across road from Finsbury Park (good for kids) but is quite a bus ride into London..however tube and many buses available from Finsbury Park station.

Boiler not working for the 2 day visit”
The mattresses were very deformed. There was no hot water, they told us the boiler was broken and that they would fix it in the morning. It wasn't fixed the next day. (12 and 13 December 2018). Location good, a few minutes to the underground station (Finsbury park), 20 minutes away from center london. Lots of restaurants and shops in area.

Good Value London Accommodation”
This hotel is well placed to access Central London and being on the Picadilly Underground Line gives you direct access to Heathrow Airport (Finsby Park, 3-4 blocks walk) Station to Heathrow is about one hour and costs about 3 GBP). A good range of food outlets and a supermarket are within a block as is a bank. The Hotel is clean with good beds and an adequate breakfast served in a large room. Well heated.

Perfect for visit to Emirates ”
Great location 5 minutes from finsbury park tube station. Short walk to the Emirates stadium. Only a couple of tube stops to covent garden Leicester square etc Staff lacking in customer services but as only used as a base so didn't matter

Good value, clean and warm”
We booked well in advance so got a twin room for £65. Decor tired but clean, beds and bedding looked new and were very comfortable. Staff friendly. Buffet breakfast was a bonus. Would have liked a bit of veg or fruit but for that price, quite understandable was budget. Wifi good. No tea or coffee in room but again, not a problem. Great budget hotel if you just need somewhere to sleep.
