Would definitely stay again”
I must admit that I was a little wary when I made the reservation -- I'd never heard of the hotel chain, and this was the only place available throughout the Christmas weekend at the time, which is not necessarily a good signal. Turns out this hotel stay was worth every yen. Yes, the room is small but I'd say it's about average in size in Japan. The room was clean, all the staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and the location is very convenient, close to Ikebukuro station as well as a lot of food options and large department stores. The water pressure in the shower, as well as the temperature, was impressive for sure. To add a cherry on top, after the stay one of the staff, Ms. Heo, contacted us regarding a credit card that we had left in the room and throughout the communication, she was super helpful and responsive to all my emails. Would definitely recommend -- 10/10.

Great budget hotel in downtown Ikebukuro”
A short walk to Ikebukuro station with a lot of great bars, restaurants, and malls in the vicinity. The hotel room as expected is tiny but the amenities are fine. Just beware that if you have a lot of luggage with you it’s going to be quite cramped.

Centurion Hotel ikebukuro station deserve a 8/10. Locationwise it's just less than 5 min walk to the station and access to multiple 24/7 convenient store. Staff speaks good English, amenitites refilled everyday, Room keeping staff are friendly and will accomodate your requests. In the room, as other picutre shows. More brightness would be good. cleaniness is not too bad, would say it's acceptable but it was dark and old in general. Could include breakfast (Denny's), but more choices around the hotel is available.

Great location, train station, shopping and restaurants all nearby. Room was small (expected) and generally pretty clean though there was always a horrible smell after housekeeping cleaned the room... (Similar to that of a wet, unwashed rag) and we had to air the room each time (thank God the windows could be opened). The only thing that bugged me was the fact that the hotel doesn't seem very safe. Granted there were security cameras around but unlike most hotels, the rooms are accessible directly from the entrance on the ground floor, with no need to pass the concierge and no security whatsoever. But still not bad a hotel with good location.

centurion exceeded my expectation as i heard from my friend Centurion is only a low budget chain hotel, but turned out it is far beyond budget hotel. the location is definitely strategic, close to shopping area, food centre as well as convinient stores. in addition, direct transport between Ikebukuro and NRT airport by NEX is also within 10 mnts walking (with 2 big luggages), so it is totally not a hassle if you bring big and heavy luggage to stay in this hotel considering the JR Ikebukuro station is also equipped with elevator made it easy for me. on a separate note, the wifi is fast, receptionist is friendly and breakfast is served well. the room size is small if you are accustomed to US hotel room, but i couldnt compare it as this is Tokyo and everything is compact. i couldnt ask for more from this hotel but i will definitely return next time when im in Tokyo.

Location was great!!.. first of all, it was near and walking distance to the Ikebukuro Station, which is your gateway to the other great places in Tokyo.. then it is near to a lot of shopping stores like Yamada Denki, BIC Camera, Zara, Parco, Seibu, Don Quijote, Muji, Uniqlo, etc.. it is also walking distance to the Sunshine City Shopping Complex.. another great factor was that there was a 7-Eleven store at the first floor where you could find food, drinks and toiletries.. I will definitely go back to Centurion Hotel Ikebukuro soon!..

Centurion hotel is the best hotel I’ve stayed in Tokyo visits. The room I stayed is twin room. Room size is good it’s neither big nor small but everything you need was there. Choose high floor to enjoy Ikebukuro street view. Hotel location is super great where you can walk from JR yamanote line from east exit and it will take you only 5 mins to hotel. Japanese Staff are not so good at English but two foreign staff I met during my visit were pretty good at english speaking. Breakfast was tasty and quality. 7-11 is just right next to hotel. I highly recommend this hotel for all of you. Thank you so much Centurion hotel. I will definitely come back.

Boutique Hotel in the heart of Ikebukuro. Take the exit from East gate, meet Zara and Big Camera then on the next is Centurion Ikebukuro Hotel. The location short walking to Ikebukuro station and shopping mall ,7-11 on 1st floor ,Denny restaurant on 2nd floor. Metro subway and JR station is in this area. From Haneda Airport , you can take the airport limousine bus and stop at Ikebukuro Station west exit . Sunshine City Prince Hotel is a bit far but timetable has variety. The staffs are so friendly to help during my 6 nights at this hotel.

It is my third time to stay at this hotel. It is because the location of hotel is good. It is quite close to JR station and shopping center. This year I only spent 490 yen on taxi fare from prince hotel to centurion hotel . It depends on whether there is available taxi after getting off the airport limousine. Last year, I picked my luggage and walked from prince hotel to centurion. It may take around several minutes. It is very easy to get a taxi from centurion hotel to prince hotel. I only spent around around 500 yen. 24-hr 7-11 is on the ground floor. We can walk to seiyu supermarket to buy some local food to eat. There are microwave, dryer and washing machine on the lobby floor. They provide free supply of green tea, coffee at the lobby floor. The staffs are very nice and helpful. I plan to stay at this hotel with my sisters in the next year.

Good hotel in a convenient location”
The hotel is just a 5-min walk from the Ikebukuro station, which is quite a central position in Tokyo. There's a Dennys in the building and a 24-hr 一蘭 just around the corner so yeah it has something for both early-birdies and late-nighters. The hotel staff and nice and helpful. The room is quite spacious in Tokyo standards, I mean, we can open 2 luggages at the same time, what more do you want in Tokyo lol? The room and the bathroom are quite clean, but they didn't replace toiletries everyday, and on the second last day when I returned to the hotel there was an empty toilet roll on the floor which surprised me as I thought the staff should have been more careful when cleaning the room. But overall it's of good value and I'd recommend it to those visiting Tokyo.

Everything beyond than expected !! ”
This hotel was the best in our trip, convenience location short walking to Ikebukuro station and shopping mall ,7-11 on 1st floor ,Denny restaurant on 2nd floor , hotel lobby on 3rd floor , at front desk they have currency exchange machine, in rainy day we can buy an umbrella only 300 yen is cheaper than outside, don quijote discount coupon and others tourist information brochures available to pickup in front of the elevator / full of amenities in room also handy(free smartphone for calling and unlimited internet during stay) , everything and new , over all here is only one hotel in this trip that provides extra bed for our daughter age 3 years we’re very surprised. Next time in Tokyo here is the choice of us .Very Very highly recommend!!!
