Location is superb. The price is competitive. The public bath stinks a bit and needs to cross public area if you stay in annex building. The room is very small, so make sure you don’t have much luggage otherwise you can’t open all of them in the room.

Good room size. Not a bad choice if you are just looking for a room. If you wish to use onsen, this hotel onsen is far too basic. It is located in main building and you may be staying in another building opposite. It is near but need to cross a small street so it is not ideal.

Great Location”
First & most importantly - there r several Centurion Hotels/Locations near the Ueno Stn. Be careful when bookng. Ours was the Centurion Hotel & Spa. Public Bath, Sauna and Cold Splash Pool available, Men & Women separate. Our room had a furo located on a lanai. It was entirely closed off w/ bamboo walls (even the top). Very nice with a sitting area (2 chairs & small table). Could have seated 4-6 people, to just hang out, and if you could find chairs LOL! The furo was deep but narrow. I am a small 4'9" & it was a little cramped for my legs. My husband is 5'6" & he was totally cramped & used the regular tub in the bathroom so he could stretch out. But you can't beat the outside ambiance. Difficult to enter/exit as you needed to step all the way down into the furo. No steps. We had a twin deluxe room. The size was american size, 602 was larger than 601. The lowest price rooms, 605, 502, doubles, were really cramped. Close to the zoo & muesums & shopping & restaurants.

The location of this hotel is unbeatable. only few metres from JR Ueno. You can go around Tokyo easily using JR Yamanote Line or Tokyo Metro. And also Skyline from/to Narita is very convenient. Spa at the hotel is excellent. Love it! We booked Standard Double with Extra Bed so we stayed at the main building. No need to cross the street for spa. The room size is 15 Sq.m is quite too fit for 3 adults but we can take. It's Tokyo room size. We will stay here again for sure. Forgot to mention Yakunuku restaurant at ground floor is delicious. You got to try. Set Lunch is 1200+ for wagyu it's very ok price. We also had a good time walking through Ueno park to National Museum of Nature and Science. It's a place you have to visit apart from Temples and Shopping. Well, to conclude my review, we do recommend this hotel.

You are probably staying near Ueno station for easy access to day trips north-west of Tokyo and if so this hotel is a great choice, pretty much right across the street from the station. We just came from Nyuto Onsen so didn’t bother to try the hot bath but it seems like definitely a plus if you are staying in Tokyo. Standard double rooms are a queen mattress, great size for 2 people and bed was good firmness for restful sleep. Room size is good enough, bathroom a little small but it’s Japan! On the plus side bathroom is spotless. Humidifier/purifier combo in room is another plus, Tokyo can be rather dry in colder months. Laundry machines on the top floor are God-send for travelers and work very well. Finally, checkout is as easy as dropping your cards in a slot in the elevator - love the Japanese efficiency. Might be a little pricey for what you get but not extreme, well within reason.

Location- Ueno JR station less than 5 min walk. Very accessible from other Metro stations. Hotel staff very helpful, can speak English. Efficient. Allowed us to store our baggage after checking out as our flight was later. Room - bed comfortable, firm. TV, mini fridge and aircon worked well. Toilet very clean. Small size though but it is expected in Tokyo. Convenience- so many food stalls the moment you step out of hotel. 7-11 and Family Mart convenience stores all less than 1 min walk. Literally spoilt for choice, Very good food at affordable prices. Market 5 min walk away for you to buy fruits. Lots of duty free shops- supermarket, shoes, lady's stuff. Uneo Park also 5 min walk. Ueno JR is also a bullet train station- it is very centre. 32 mins train ride to Haneda Int Airport by Rapid Train. Will definitely stay there again. Strongly recommended. Very happy with the hotel.

There are more than 3 centurion hotel in Ueno. This one locates near JR Ueno, 3mins walk. They don’t provide next day luggage storage only before 6pm but you may find coinlocker in JR Ueno (Asakusa side), rimowa27” and rimowa sport are ok with the size(¥600/¥800 per day) There is bunk bed in Casual double room, up one is single bed and the down one is double room. The room is not big but still fine, as for bathroom, it’s kind of small.

That's a very modern and beautifully decorated hotel at a great location, right next to Ueno station. It definitely has a feel of a 4-star hotel. The reception was really kind, the room really comfortable with a great offer of products for shower and cleansing and the spa was really relaxing and pleasant! The breakfast was good, but there is still room for improvement (e.g. for the eggs and bacon). Overall, we greatly appreciated our stay and we highly recommend this hotel at the beautiful and vibrant Ueno neighborhood!
