A must for honeymooners!! Great first impression- white staccato thatch- roofed apartments with well manicured tropical garden. Beautiful dolphin shaped pool with lounging areas. Arty free-form interior apartment with light airy and refreshing ocean breeze. The bathroom is quite unique. Comfortable bed with art-work.Nice. The upstair private balcony very exclusive over looking the pool and gardens. Seclusive....Restaurant is quite unique too with tasty art-work. Great breakfast/lunches. Cold beer! Free Wii-Fii !! What more do you need??! A big thankyou to all the crew at ChARTS..A big hi to Ivy...we will be back!!!

Pleasant stay in Bohol”
The staff is always very friendly and they welcome you with a calamancy juice while they finish with registration procedures. According to the resort occupancy they also offer you, if possible, a free room upgrade. Charts is also good located 5 minutes walking dinstance from Alona beach and 15/20 minutes motorbike ride from other beautiful beaches. All around the resort you can find many small restaurants offering local and international food. If I went back to Bohol, i would book there again.

Hidden Gem in Alona Beach”
From the street, Charts Resort looks like a quaint restaurant. It doesn't appear like a resort until you actually enter the grounds. So this gives it a rather unique charm. A very nice place to go to relax next to the pool/bar. When we arrived the referigerater wasn't working, but they corrected this promptly. The room was of a good size, and the bed was comfortable. I had no issues with this hotel at all. Very friendly staff, and a very nice stay.

i just returned home from two wonderful weeks in the pilippines and a great relaxing stay at charts. i found it to be a charming little hind away, close to the beachesand shops and not far from a larger city if you want. the service was always with a thank you and a smile. we found the rooms comfortable and clean. the pool was relaxing and just outside your room.the food in the cafe was very good as was the service. except for the sounds coming from construction next door. we found a peaceful and relaxing time was had by both of us. i highly reccommend this travel site. sincerely the roefs ny-usa

Fantastic hotel”
The Charts Resort and Cafe is a charming litte hotel situated about 5 mins up the road from Alona Beach. On the way to the beach there are a multitude of restaurants, souvenir shope and convenience stores. Breakfast included is simple, a small buffet selction of fresh fruit and toast which can be accompanied by either a cooked contintental breakfast (eggs and bacon etc) or a filipino option( rice with sausage etc.) The pool is quaint and perfect for cooling down in after a hot day down at the beach. Despite being on what is called the main road( doesn't really constitute a main road in my opinion) there is harldy any disturbances from passing traffic. The staff were all extremely friendly and were more than willing to help. All in all a very pleasant stay and would come back again if the opportunity arises.

Clean, well-run accommodation”
Unlike much of the accommodation on the island this place is not cold & modern or kitsch and actually has some character. Rooms are minimalist but spotlessly clean. The small pool and surrounding garden is pristine, and combined with the thatched roof and chill-out areas give this place an island resort feel even though its more like a small B&B with only 10 rooms. Its on the busiest road on Panglao island so you might get a bit of traffic noise but it didn't prevent me from relaxing. 30 min drive from Tagbilaran airport, 5 min walk to Alona beach and easy access to restaurants, stores, dive shops, bank and transport options.

We had 4 wonderful days in Charts.. Very nice room, clean and comfortable facing the garden and the swimming pool. The staff is nice and friendly.. The owner will give you plenty of suggestions about Bohol.. Everything was perfect!!

Comfortable and very relaxing”
Beautiful hotel in a good location, clean, cozy rooms with large bathroom. Very satisfied, highly recommended. Tip: try Go karts and water sports around Danao beach, boat trip to Pungtud island, intro dive in Panglao bay.

lovely hotel as home feeling”
We lived in Charts for 2 nights and the hotel staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is full of tropical color and the pool outside the room is really a lovely view. Not too far from the beach and the distance is good for blocking out all the noisy and crowded. But what needs to be improved is the room service. The towels will not be replaced every 3 days according to the rules which makes a little inconvenient. Sometimes the water pressure is not stable at night.

Good but little bit faraway from beach”
We had 4 nights with kid in Charts Resort,basically it is a good hotel,staffs are very friendly( except their boss lady who looks cool),room and pool are excellent,little bit faraway from Alona beach but can give your quiet sleep. Wireless only available in garden,not always stable. Room rate is relatively higer,they also charged me extra for kid

Small boutique hotel 5 minutes walk from the beach”
stayed at charts for three nights in january 2012. the hotel was small and had charm. the only challenge with the hotel was even though the price was good, the hotel would nickle and dime guests for 'extra' items. if you wanted your towel washed within 3 days there was a charge. if you wanted a towel for the pool...there was a charge. if you wanted a towel for the beach...there was a charge (actually they wanted you to buy it!). breakfast was included. however, if you wanted juice with your breakfast...there was a charge. that being noted, they have done a great job with the small tropical garden around the pool.

Beautiful clean resort with character ”
i wanted a beautiful place for me and my friend where we can unwind and relax from our stressful life. this resort lived up to the pictures that we saw online. i researched a bit by checking out online reviews from various traveler website, and this was one of the recommended places to stay. the only thing that i did not like was that the restaurant and bar closed so early. so for our late dinner (8 pm) me and my friend had to walk outside and eat at a nearby restaurant which was not good. other than that, i only have good things to say about this resort. the pool area was beautiful and relaxing place to hang-out. there is also a spa area which i was not able to try, but would like to, maybe next time. the bed of the superior queen room was so relaxing. it only took me about 7 minutes lying down before i dozed off. i woke up refreshed and rejuvinated.

small yet lovely resort”
the resort is very clean and lovely. rooms are spacious. breakfast is good. few minute walk to the beach. however, one of the staff is not that accomodating when we arrived in the evening. since our group exceeded the number of person per room, she should have calmly suggested alternatives for us and not get mad easily. we are willing to pay any amount for us to enjoy our trip but not be treated as such. but given the chance, i would still stay here for their interiors are differently beautiful than other resorts in the area with the same value of rates.

Charming botique hotel but with a few mishaps”
The resort has a great location. It's not beach front, but is walking distance from the beach (about 5 minutes). The rooms and the resort itself is really charming. Everything is made of cement so the rooms are really cool. The bathrooms are clean, the whole place is actually clean and everything is functioning. Also note that check-out is 12noon. One of the staff said that the check-out time is at 2pm, so we had to explain to the owner that we were advised of that time. We were not charged for the extra two hours but it's better to be safe. However, the people are really very friendly and helpful. I think it's worth the stay.

A good place to stay in”
I like their breakfast. The coffee, bread and homemade jam are really delicious. The mini bar is really convenient with a reasonable price (close to the price in restaurants). Overall, this place is clean, cozy, and not far from the beach(about 10 minute walk). I would recommend my friends to stay in this hotel if they want to go to Alona beach.

Perfect, relaxing and well run”
Stayed here for 5 nights and enjoyed every minute around the resort. Staff were excellent, food was great, rooms were spacious and comfortable and the pool was a big bonus. Everywhere is very well maintained, clean and tidy.

Quite place, good for relaxing”
1. Dont book official tour to island or Bohol city from travel agent, you can just do some negotiation when you are there at the beach, offer is much cheaper 2. If you do not want to get headache, get away from those restaurants near each other with live band! Go to rooftop and enjoy the night with sky moon and stars

Perfect if you do not want to go for the high-end options in Bohol. The hotel is nicely designed, rooms are clean. Walking distance to beach and restaurants. Good value for money.
