The resort wasn’t too crowded, we had a lot of space for everybody to enjoy the beach and the pool. The service was great and very supportive. Moreover they offered free water activities like sailing, paddle, kayak and some other beach games which is very entertaining when you stay on the resort. If you have never diner sailing, there will have an instructor for free ! Finally the food was great ! I strongly recommend if you want to relax and spend sometimes at the resort.

There are so many reasons why we’ll be coming back. We’d describe this place as first class, soulful, exclusive yet affordable. The staff cannot do enough to make your stay one to remember. Genuinely happy and positive staff, the location is exquisite and right on the best beach around, which is pristine. So much to do that you’ll never need to leave the resort. It came highly recommended to us from someone who had stayed and we want to pass it on. Simply the best!

I spent three nights here with mom and it was fantastic! All the staff was very helpful, kind, beautiful atmosphere, delicious food, and something fragrant room. I came here after slept two nights in another hotel. Although I feel the bed conditions are a little uncomfortable, I thought the beds in other hotels are too good and it’s a different style. so everything was perfect anyway! I especially loved the dinner buffet that opened suddenly. Thank you!

If you're looking to relax, look no further. ChenSea is amazing. Their attention to detail is amazing and their grounds are immaculate. I typically never stay in the same hotel/resort more than once, but I just finished my second stay here and will definitely be back. My wife and I took our 1.5 year old and at times felt like we were the only guests there. It's a big space for how many rooms there are. We ate all of our meals at the resort, and every meal was delicious. The massages were fantastic, especially with the sound of the waves. I wouldn't change a thing. About the location, yes, maybe it's a bit farther from town, but that's also what makes it so peaceful. Highly, highly recommend.

PERFECT PLACE FOR HONEYMOON”
We came to this wonderful resort on our last week and could not think of a better place to end the trip. It has an amazing pool, amazing breakfast and beach, and wonderful staff. I would recommend this place to everyone coming. An important thing to mention though is that the resort is pretty far from the city center, but we didn't mind as we stayed at the resort all of our stay. GREAT PLACE FOR A GREAT PRICE

Perfect piece of eco paradise”
If peace and quiet, lazing by the infinity pool, eco luxury, incredible sunsets, great food and super service is what you are looking for, this is the place to stay. Please note: Chen Sea is not to be compared directly to La Verandas, it's like comparing apples and oranges. Chen Sea is an eco resort, and La Verandas a French colonial 5 star hotel. Consider your preference from the start! A good 15 minutes drive out of Phu Quoc town, this slice of heaven impressed us from the moment we arrived. Amazing guest service, incredible sea view with infinity pool and immaculate restaurant were just the beginning. The Sea View Villa we had was the closest one to the pool, super convenient! The beds were very comfortable, the semi-outdoor shower amazing, and the buffets - incredible! I believe that there was once a time that this resort was not so favoured, but a lot of hard work from Chef Haus and new owner/management has resulted in an absolute gem. The food and beverage is quite pricey compared to other hotels, but you must remember that you are quite a way from town and convenience costs! We organised a private boat for snorkeling the north of the island, which was the best thing I've ever done whilst traveling - complete freedom to do whatever we wanted! One trip into Phu Quoc town only makes you realise even more what a paradise Chen Sea is - the Night Markets are very small and non-eventful, especially when we had been in Siem Reap two weeks prior! It may have been our timing, of course, but to me it seemed that Phu Quoc is not about shopping, but sight-seeing. The best way to see the road less traveled is to hire motorbike tour guides to take you off the beaten track, up into the mountains to Buddhist temples and less frequented pearl farms. Personally, I cannot wait to go back.
