exceptional everything ”
being greeted at the secured gates was the first indication that this stay was going to be pleasurable. the next was the views of the sea just metres from the reception office . Arnel, i’m assuming a senior staff member, went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed and to make sure we will see the best of what the island offered. the other staff were always friendly and willing to make our stay comfortable. i will definitely stop and say hello if not stay here again on my return visit

Just need to upgrade bathrooms in the room we stayed. It’s still alright but would be better. The location is really nice. Best view of sunrise and sunset. Love the place. Staff were marvelous.

It is perfect. Rent a scooter fit 300pesos a day and you are set to see the whole island. I walked to cloud 9 in 1 hour in flip flops.

low profile, peaceful beachfront property, friendly staff”
good size rooms with cable, fridge, coffee, toiletries. friendly staff, nice pool, beach front, nice big pool bar with plenty of lounge chairs to relax right in front of the ocean. hotel is gated, accessible to tricycles & vans, convenience store right across the street if you need anything. very friendly staff. only missing is reggae music at the pool bar otherwise, we had a really nice time.

The location was perfect. Beautiful beach front views of Daku and Guyana islans and the sunrise. nice area to swim or snorkel at high tide in the sea. Great pool. Very close to everything General Luna and cloud 9 have to offer. Perfect stay. Thank you so much. We really couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended.

Great stay, restaurant not so great”
Pros: amazing yard and garden and has a great swimming pool. Yard is always kept clean. Housekeeping staff are the best! Cons: very weak water pressure. You have to pour bucket of water to flush the toilet all the way. Price of food and alcohol in restaurant is not very competitive to outside eatery and store. The soup (arrozcaldo) we ordered for breakfast had large egg shells in it. I will still stay at this place, I’d just skip the free breakfast as not really worth it

No complaints”
(BTW the trip from the airport to General Luna is a standard P300 either direction). We stayed in this place for four nights in a standard room opposite reception and close to the road. No complaints about the room, or bed or aircon - not noisy. Veranda outside. WIFI is located in dining room, bar beside pool and seaside. Its fairly OK - we could get it faintly on our room balcony. At the far end to our room was the beachfront. You can swim but its pretty shallow. Lots of seaweed beyond a cleared area but no coral. Closeby on the beach are other resort restaurants, like Patrick's On the Beach. You can also walk along the beach to the boardwalk where there are flimsy (and dangerous) stepladders connecting small boats. Outside the hotel entrance you turn right (northwords) for most of the restaurants and hotels and where you head to Cloud 9 point. We were not disappointed with this place. I'd say the standard rooms are the best value.

The location is so good that you can just seat in their cabanas facing the beach.. my son enjoyed the pool very much and the free breakfast it good. Room is quite dark they should replace the lights already. Staff are very accommodating and friendly. Definitely coming back.

pros : located on ocean front, very close to city and all trendy places. fridge and boiling pot in the room, quiet, decent size pool, great stuff, good TV and channels cons: rooms rather small, beds small and not very conformable, 1 pillow for bed, through wall ac (not quiet or strong like mini split).

The sheets are smelling good and the bed is so soft...i fell asleep right away everytime I lie down...the place is so quiet and relaxing.. breakfast is good and the staff very friendly and accommodating to guests..location is in the center of tourism road...

It was a good place to stay in. Location is just near the heart of gen luna. Place is nice with pool and beach shore. Staff were nice and accommodating. during our 2nd night and 3rd day there was no electricity at all. (Although it is normal in siargao) but atleast the hotel must always be ready with their generator in case. Aircon was not properly working. We asked the staff for an electric fan just for us to be able to sleep the whole night. Overall i recommend this place. You get what you pay for.

Cherinicole”
We had originally booked Siargao Island Villas but through a mixup in the rooms they had booked for us, ended up moving to Cherinicole. The location was very convenient for walking to restaurants, we enjoyed the bar area, loungers available looking into the ocean, place was fairly quiet with mostly other couples, free breakfast were good, and staff were nice. The rooms were as they appear onlien and were clean with exception that the bathroom did seem to smell though. We were able to get a discount (~35%) as this was a last minute booking so were quite happy with the value that we received and would consider staying here again.
