I’m so much satisfied with my stay here, room is spacious and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful. And for me the best part of the hotel is that they provide bike rental for free. Those bikes are in very good quality, I rented a bike everyday of my stay and cycling around Kyoto which is a unique experience for me. The bad part I can think of is that the hotel located on a corner of a cross junction road that you can only cross it by a footbridge which has no elevator/escalator! I would advise you to plan your route before getting there if you got a heavy luggage. I’m glad that I aware of this before I get there cos I might be crying if I found out I have to climb the stairs to get to the hotel. And maybe my room is right next to the storage room, I can hear some noise at midnight which seems like someone is arranging stuff into that room. But it doesn’t really bothering me too much, since I still managed to get a good sleep. Would recommend to anyone who love cycling there.

convenient and clean”
It locates in between centre and greater Kyoto area. facilities are minimum but sufficient. All are clean and comfortable. Staffs are all kind and free rental bike was a bonus. Highly recommended.

Clean and new hotel with reasonable price”
The hotel is not located right new to Kyoto station, but is close to a bus stop after transiting from Kyoto station so it is traveller friendly. The hotel room is exceptionally clean, partly because it is a new hotel. Reasonable price for its location and cleanliness. I’ve added the breakfast but the breakfast is not quite my type since it’s like traditional Japanese breakfast. All in all, I do recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Kyoto.

Good hotel to stay !”
The staffs not only in the front desk , but also other places are very helpful and polite , so we could stay in comfort. The location is a bit far from the Kyoto statin and the city center as Kawaramachi , but several city bus lines are passed near the hotel , especially for and from the Kyoto station there are more than 10 buses per hour even in daytimes.

Stayed here for 3 nights. The location is not great, about a 10-15 minute walk from the subway, but there is a bus stop nearby, so I think it is fine for traveling to Kyoto by bus. The staff at the reception is very nice and helpful. The rooms are small but standard for this price range. I was disappointed that the breakfast menu does not change every day, but there are many choices and I think you will be satisfied. The hotel offers free bicycle rental service, which I think is the best way to explore Kyoto by bicycle. I plan to come back to Kyoto and this hotel is an excellent first choice.

Good value budget hotel near downtown Kyoto”
Good access to bus, but not subways. Very good room size and plenty of useful amenities. Breakfast is not the best value. (~1300 yen for a fairly simple buffet).

Rude Manager & staff too rigid”
Lady manager was not flexible & pretty rude to guests. She doesn’t understand foreigners don’t wake up so early due to time difference in GMT & people do work late at nights. They have rigid rules though the bicycle is free but they insist that have to return by midnight. I’m not Cinderella & they are not my fairy godmothers… otherwise hotel is clean new & very good value for money. The distance to food & transport is a killer esp during winter. Maybe that’s why they are so bitchy.

The hotel is new but not good location. There’s noneestaurant or conveniece store around. Good thing is bicycle is free and I used to it to wander around Kyoto
