      Reasonable Budget Hotel”

Cheap, close to public transport, ok for sleeping

Our family of four (2 children both older than 18) stayed in one room at the Chiswick Court Hotel for a night. It was a 10 minute walk to underground station, and there was a bus stop right outside the hotel so getting there from the city was easy. There are no lifts in the hotel but the staff were helpful and immediately brought our bags to our rooms. There is nothing that particularly stands out but because it was cheap, it is good value for money.

Basic hotel but great location couple of minutes from tube fab bar at end of street and close to shops bars etc. Free wifi was a bonus and staff were really friendly we have booked again for march. You get what you pay for if you want a fancy hotel pay fancy prices but this was the perfect base for us for visiting london and the sights. The staff on reception were just lovely and welcoming friendly and helpful. Breakfast is basic but cereal toast coffee and juice set us up until lunch time. Could nit pick but like I said you get what you pay for and if you just want a base to get your head down and showered its ideal and the fact we booked again for march speaks volumes

      budget hotel nearby subway station”

      clean, cheap, nearby subway station

Chiswick Court Hotel is a small and simple hotel. Small rooms but reasonable priced. It's clean, and perfect if you want a hotel for just sleeping during your city trip in London. Tiny bath room but again clean. It's five minutes walking from Turnham Green subway station on the District line (zone 2). It's in a quiet residential area without shops. For shops and eateries you have to go back to the subway station and continue south. I did not have breakfast in the hotel mso no justment for that.

close to bus nad tube station, in zone 2

It is older but typical English building hotel, it is very nice who like old English houses, the room is enough and bathroom with toilet is small but also enough, we were satisfied, advantage is a breakfast (no ttypical |full English but anly sanwiches, butter, jam coffe and tea but it is good after morning). We have not any negative points and we hope some time will be back when we will be in London.

Recommend the place, old but clean, convenient location”

The hotel location is very good, it is just 5 min walk to metro (2 stations) and a bus stop is in front of the hotel, it is located in old house so bathroom smells, our room was cleaned every day, towels are new and of good quality. Comparing prices I would definetely recommend it for several days to sleep. Breakfast is very simple but sufficient to start a day.

      Does the job”

It’s cheap and shabby. It’s clean(ish) and warm and very basic. If you are planning to hang out in your hotel room and pamper yourself, or want a romantic getaway - do not book here. This hotel is suited to those who simply want a place to dump their stuff, returning to the hotel only to sleep. For £36 a night, this is fantastic value. Yes, it’s shabby, a bit smelly and the rooms are small - but when this place is eventually done up - you’ll be paying treble the price. For now, you can use the money you’re saving on theatre, meals out etc... It’s seriously good value for London. My one quibble was the that WiFi was contrary but there’s a Starbucks down the road if you’ve got work to do.

Budget Hotel that was OK for sleeping”

      refrigerator in room, location, price

I booked this hotel as I was looking to get a budget hotel while in London for two Depeche Mode concerts. I literally only slept in the room so I didn't need anything fancy. The good things about this hotel is that it is near a tube station and also, it had a refrigerator inside which I loved. (oh and breakfast but I didn't use it either morning as one I had to leave too soon the day of departure and other morning I needed internet so went to cafe) The negatives are no internet anywhere in the hotel so you had to walk about 5 minutes to a coffee shop, very old and run down feeling of the room, and no lift. However, the man at the front was very helpful with bringing my heavy suitcase up to my room. Overall, if I was going to need a place to literally crash, I would consider it again but it's not something I'd want to stay for more than a couple days.

It's a nice and cheap little hotel. Three of us arrived very late in the evening to check in for a one-night stay and the staff was really nice and helpful! Oh btw, it's only 3 min walk from the famous Norman Shaw built pub - Tabard!

Conveniently located in Zone 2 with public bus stopping in front of the hotel. 500m to walk either way to TurnHam Green or Stamford Brook tube station. LOW PRICE / LOW QUALITY”

Bed was comfortable enough but that's about it really. The promised breakfast was no more than cereal, toast, tea/coffee and didn't start until 8.00am (too late for someone leaving earlier in the morning with no alternative options so this was a bit of misleading advertising). VERY basic but I guess at such a low price for London I half expected it so wasn't surprised (though it doesn't make it acceptable)! No plug in the sink and shower head didn't move (pointing half way up the wall!). Staff weren't very forthcoming and not around to help much outside 'normal' hours. Should be labelled 'cheap bed and breakfast'. Hotel is too generous a description. Overall, pretty disappointing but for £40 a night I guess that's all you can expect in London!!

      Value for money”

5 minutes walk to tube station, bus stop in front of hotel, quiet neighborhood. Because this is not 5 star hotel, you should not expect too much. We have no reason to not come back. Bed and breakfast we paid for, and that's what we got.

      Worst customer service ever”

I have never stayed at a hotel with worst customer service. The main reason I booked the Chiswick Court Hotel was the free parking. When I arrived, at 2pm, there was a car blocking the car park. I asked the first person I saw - the manager as it turned out - to move the car, so I could park. He refused, telling me I had to park on the street, at 2 pounds/hour, until at least 6pm. I asked again whether I could park in the far corner, where there was space. He refused again. I returned a couple of hours later, and he had moved the blocking car to the place he said just before that I could not put my car. The following morning I spotted a space in car park, so I asked the manager whether it would be ok if I could move my car there. He seemed to agree, but in the five minutes it took to fetch my car, he had moved his car into the free space. He now claimed that this same car was not now his, but belonged to a guest. Like I say, this is the worst customer service I have ever encountered at a hotel. I suspect the car rents out space in the car park to non-guests, as several of the vehicles did not move at all during my stay. Parking is limited to four hours maximum on the street outside (between 9am and 6pm), so you cannnot leave it for the day, even if you were prepared to pay 14 pounds for the privilege. As parking tickets are at least 40 pounds a pop, this is not a risk worth running. I would warn anyone other potential customers not to choose the Chiswick Court Hotel, particularly not if they have a car.

      good location, value for money!”

good location and free simple breakfast in the morning

We had a great stay here but unfortunately there was no tea or coffee maker in the room. The room was a bit small. The good thing is they offered us free simple breakfast in the morning with bread toast and juice.
