We enjoyed the location and the view of the river.”
We asked the hotel to assist us with forward travel by bus to Can Tho. The man on the desk arranged a public taxi for us to get to the bus station, and wrote in Vietnamese the tickets we required on a piece of paper to show in the ticket office. He said that the transfer would cost 300,000 VDMs as it was 15 kilometres. We thought this a lot and asked the taxi driver to switch on the metre. The metre price was 127,500 VMDs but the driver insisted we pay the price agreed with the hotel. We felt very disappointed with this arrangement as the driver did not assist us to get a ticket in any way.

The food in the hotel restaurant is very delicious and for a great price. The rooms are clean. Only in the evening ant throught the night there is a lot of rates running and playinng on the roof of the room. But don´t worry, they are far away from you. The staff is very friendly.

Avoid this hotel”
Little to no service. Dirty room with fungus smell. Had to sleep with the balcony window open because the smell was so strong. Broken toilet seat and shower door. Old carpet on the bedroom floor. No elevator. Free breakfast ends at 8am, which is early by Vietnamese standards. In general, My Tho is not an interesting city. Can tho is much more beautiful and vibrant. If you do go to My Tho there are cheaper and cleaner hotels available.

good location, good value”
first room ground floor was not nice they changed us to a nicer room on first floor for the second night. rooms clean, shower etc works well, breakfast for Vietnamese only, coffee. cleaning of cloth service was a desaster. noisy in the morning after 6 am. in summary a good value for people who get up early mostly Vietnamese clients be careful with the guy that sneaks around the hotel that tries to sell you boat tours - he is asking more than double the usual rates !

Dated but resonable value for money”
Stayed here for 3 nights in january 2012, the good points of the hotel are its location, its very central to the town centre with plenty of local restaurants and shops. On the down side the hotel is very dated and the breakfast was of low standard with little choice. That said the room rate was very low so the hotel still represents value for money.

Unnecessary stop and should avoid ”
Stopping at My Tho was unnecessary in the first place. The hotel aside was so outdated and all facilities looked tired and dirty. Having been to simpler accommodations but very clean so I wasn't complaining about its simplicity. The hotel was at the premium location and had excellent view along the river.

Our trip to My Tho & Mekong Delta”
It needs some serious updating especially when I noticed that a new hotel is under construction up the street close to the reservoir. This hotel compared to the other hotels we stayed in Saigon and Hanoi is completely on the bottom of the list. They really need to invest in money and update it. I would pay more to stay in a nicer hotel in the future.

Acess to river and boat trip”
God location (very close to all boats for Mekong tours) nice view from balcony. Room was worn, problem with all lock. Warning: samebody went through our luggage in a locked hotel room and took mobile phone and two chargers to cameras.

1 night in chuong duong hôtel ”
Even if the hôtel looks good from the outside we think that 3 stars it is a bit too Much too compare to other hotel in Vietnam ! The receptionist seems also not happy that we did not want to take one of his driver for the way back to HCM ! But the tour offer by the hôtel is really interresting and the tour guide also.

Watch out for staff when you exchange money”
Bad experience with sink broken and water spilled every where in the bathroom and they refused to change room. Worst was when I exchanged 100 US dollar and was quoted for 2,055,000 VN dong. When asked why it was so low the male receptionist said I have to exchange more than 100 US dollar. I immediately told him that I exhanged 50 U.S. dollar for 1,050,000 yesterday. He was quiet for a short while and gave me the rate of 2,1000,000 per 100 U.S. dollar. This is bad for the hotel reputation and management should look into it. Note that the female receptionist was excellent.

Ok for the price”
We booked the suite, wich was very large and had 2 toilets. Rooms are old, but ok. Airco was more noisy than usual in asia. Good thing about that is that you don't hear the boats on te river. Tyhe view is very nice. The restaurant is very bad. Service is bad as well. We had no water in our room. It took them more than 4 hours to fix the water. (Somebody pulled the plug out of the water pump...)
