Lovely hotel”
We were attending The Royal Albert Hall and wanted somewhere close by to stay. Was really happy I booked this lovely hotel very clean big room which had a kitchen area for those staying longer. Lots of places in the vicinity to eat as well I would highly recommend Da Mario’s Fabulous food

This was my second stay with Citadines South Kensington and if definitely return again. The location is fantastic as you have access to three of the tube lines at the closest station and another station nearby. The facilities are great and the staff is super helpful.

This hotel is located in the heart of my favorite London neighborhood. So much to do within walking distance and the tube is 5 mins walk away if you need to go further afield. The hotel itself was good value by London standards. The room was a decent size and quite quiet (although the walls were a bit thin so you could hear the people next door). Overall the hotel was great for a short stay.

In a great location. Minutes walk to museums and Kensington High Street. Direct bus just outside the hotel to Shepherd's Bush where Westfield shopping mall is located. However the hotel feels dated and the pillows and bed were very uncomfortable.

Everything was fine except for:- 1) I have not been informed before prior to check in that the hotel will clean your room only once a week. If you prefer your room to be cleaned more often, you are needed to pay GBP15 per time. 2) Many staffs are not helpful as they seem to be not willing to help.

As we are a Serviced Residence, our services are somewhat diferrent to that of the standard hotel concept. Daily cleaning can be arranged, however this must be requested and is chargeable on top of your room rate. This informtion is advertised on all our online portals and suppliers including Agoda in multiple langauges. I have asked the Front Office Manager to please remind the staff to be as helpful as possible, thank you for bringing this to my attention as this is not the norm. It seems on this occasion we have failed you as a first time guest, and I can only hope you will give us another oppurtunity in the near future to change your opinion of your services. Even though the option for twin is given to you they don't have any twin rooms. The hotel do follow up to ask your preference and even though we specifically requested a twin no one took the time advise there are no twins at all on the property. The room wasn't that clean with crumbs in one of the beds, weird marks in the bathroom and toilet and the walls are paper thin so the people having a gathering next door were making quite a racket. For what you pay I'd expect a lot more. The guy at check in was polite but he has been the only staff member we've seen. Maybe he's one staffing the whole place and that's why things slipped through the cracks?....

Solid choice for a shorter stay in London”
This was our second stay at Citidines South Kensington. If you are looking for high luxury, don't book here. Citadines features function more than style. The rooms are clean. Everything works. The room we had was reasonably quiet even with the window open at night. The staff is polite, attentive and professional. The small apart- kitchens have everything they need for simple cooking. The beds are comfy. The TV channel package is rather good for a London chain hotel. The location is fantastic with all of South Kensington, including museums, parks, pubs, restaurants, groceries and the Tube within easy walk. I will complain somewhat mildly that thei internet is not up to snuff. That is a small trade off for everything else you do get for a very reasonable London price.

Checked-in 26 August 2017 Checked-out 1 Sept 2017 (1) We definitely recommend this establishment to our nearest and dearest. (2) Location is a walking distance to Natural History Museum and V&A. There is a sundry store and Partridges less than a minute walk from the establishment. (3) Citadines provides unlimited hot drinks at its lobby, printing facilities, WiFi facilities and mobile phone for its guests. During our stay the facilities advertised were in working condition. (4) Special mention of its front desk employees especially Ms Christina, who was unstinting in her assistance, be it to call for the black cab or any other enquiries. Mr Jules even though a trainee gave his best to assist. We will definitely stay at Citadines South Kensington if we were in town. The END

The hotel is very well located in a great neighborhood, close to Hyde Park, to the South Kensington museums and to a station with access to 3 tube lines. The staff is very friendly, the kitchen is very well equipped. The room is very clean at your arrival, but the only inconvenient is that they provide cleaning service only once a week (or more often if you are willing to pay for it). Otherwise, they do offer you fresh towels or trash bags, upon request. There's also a coffee machine in the hallway and you have free access to the gym.

The area hotel located is just decent and safe, not far from Hyde Park. It's only around 5 mins walking distance from Gloucester Road underground station, which is a major station and easy to get you to many major spots of London. There's a Tesco just in front of the underground station, even though it's not a big store, it's enough for simple food preparation. Hotel staffs are always helpful and friendly. WIFI is stable. There's a laundry room equipped with washing and drying machines in the basement floor, even though we didn't use it during our stay. The room is big and neat. We're lucky to have window view just toward Gloucester Road. There's a small drawback that kitchen is located in the same area with bedroom, therefore the air is a bit of oily when we enter the room firstly. Overall I give this hotel very good rating! Especially recommended to traveller who wish to have kitchen during the trip. If I return back to London, I will stay here again for sure.

The hotel is located about 6 mins away from gloucester road with plenty nice restaurants, my boyfriend and i especially like the one Jakobs just on the opposite octhe road. Id highly recommend this hotel to anyone planning to stay in south kensington area.

Stayed here for a month and really enjoyed it - the area around Gloucester Road is very convenient, 5 mins away from the tube (with 3 lines - district, circle and piccadilly), lined with good cafes/restaurants and easy access to 2 big supermarkets. It was also a short walk away from Kensington Gardens. The hotel room (I stayed in Studio) itself was on the smaller side but fully functional. Concierge was very welcoming and friendly, and the free flow coffee and tea/ green apples every morning was a nice touch. Thanks for the wonderful stay.
