Great Location, Friendly Staff at Front Desk”
The location was convenient as most attractions (War Musuem, Independence Palace, Saigon central post office, Ben Tranh Market etc.) and Vegan/Vegetarian/Indian Restaurants were within 70meters-1.5kms from the hotel. We took the day trip to Mekong and the tour operator picks you up free of cost since the Hotel is located in District 1 Ben Tranh. The best part was / is the friendly staff- Chassie (Poh) who studies Hospitality Management during the day while overseas front desk during night shifts- is absolutely humble, smart and went out of her way to help my wife and me twice. Room is well equipped. Breakfast spread was decent for Vegetarians while Vietnamese Non Veg looked well stocked.

Even tboigh there was a language barrier, the staff always tries their best to give high quality service. They are also very very friendly. One of the staff named Thiên Trúc was truly helpful and kind throughout our stay. Providing food recommendations and offering to book cab for us constantly without fail.

First time staying at Calista. We usually stay at a nearby hotel. We will definitely be back. The hotel is in a great location, the staff are polite and courteous and speak very good English (not a necessity but helpful). Rooms are very well appointed. We stayed in a lovely corner room which was very spacious with a great view of the street. We only needed a room for half a day for our last day so moved to the cheapest room and were pleasantly surprised with the quality of that room.

Ana in particular was amazing at hospitality and very light hearted person. Her, her female colleague at the desk during the day, and the male who helps carry luggage were all super nice and fun to interact with.
