Great Value for money”
Great value for such a cheap price. Clean linen was provided and generally the place was clean. As advertised the bathroom was shared. However I was slightly disappointed that the living room and kitchen was also shared. It should not be advertised as apartment, but an individual room with shared bathroom, living room and kitchen.

Was located above shops, but this was expected taking into consideration the lower price as compared to nearby hotels. Very helpful staff member Rob who showed us the apartment. Clean linen, clean flat. Even had a microwave. Only small snag was that the shower did not drain well, and similar problem with bathroom sink.

500m to the Gherkin and a very tidy apartment with a helpful host Robert. Disconcerting from the outside but don’t let this put you off. Excellent value for money.

Good for a one night stay”
If your looking for somewhere to stay for a night or two that's in the city center then this place is perfect. Owner was very attentive in making sure we can check in ok and easily available on text. It's not a high class hotel but a spacious room and kitchen area that's perfect for a staying over for a night or two. Location is perfect

Terrible stay ”
The room was not as advertised. It did not state that we would have a shared bathroom. The shared area was full of noisy people. The room was tiny, it smelt and was cold. There was an unknown substance smeared on our ‘clean towels’. The key code did not work to let us in the room. Had to book somewhere else for the night. Would not recommend to anyone.

Almost perfect ”
Smaller building than I imagined, very clean. Perfect location for where we wanted to be. Brick land and spittle fields within walking distance. Clay was very friendly and helpful. One thing, there is no cooking facilities in the kitchen, only a kettle so wouldn't call it self catering, would recommend they put a toaster and microwave for people staying a while.

Deceiving ”
Took us 20 minutes to find the place. Had to ring up and ask where to go! Was met in the street by two gentlemen who took us to the apartment room, which looked nothing like the photos. Mold on the wall in the corner by the sink, and asked for 2 single beds and got one double.

Poor dodgey place ”
The address on the website is wrong! Then you will get a call to meet a man on the street who will take you to a dodgey appartment nearby but not the advertised location. I was taken to a different appartment as he was meeting two groups of people and confused ours for the other group. Eventually was taken to the correct appartment which had light bulbs not working scratched up walls and doors . Complete shambles !!

Met the owner just after i finished work. Nice friendly chap. Appt has shower room, full kitchen, washer dryer and a dble bed tv etc. Tesco 10mins away. All good. Would book again

Les chambres sont petites, mais propres et confortables. Le bâtiment est assez ancien, spécialement vu de l'extérieur, mais c'est propre. Le gérant est dévoué et donne un très bon service. L'emplacement est excellent. Proche de tout, et la rue est calme la nuit. Il n'y a pas de circulation.
