Excellent Location and for the price I PAID, a bargain”
I had a very small single room but I absolutely loved it. The location is perfect, some of the staff were excellent, some could use training in hospitality, but all in all it was very good.

Exceptional”
booked a single room, size is acceptable still can put my 2 luggages along the sideway. Everything is compact and functional. Have TV and water boiler but no refrigerator. Hardware is overall quite new, except walls are thin you can hear what happens outside in the doorway. Hotel staff is helpful, wifi is strong---which is very important in London!!! Luggage storage with no extra fee, easy transportation with Earl's Court Station right around the corner.

Couldn't see a TV with a bunked bed ”
I booked a single and I did not see the mention of bunk bed in a single room. When I got there was a bunk bed and I couldn't watch the TV becuase the TV was on a wall in between the lower and the upper level bunk bed. So I could not see the tv when I was lying on either of the beds. Stairs are tiny as well, when carrying a big suitcase, it was difficult to move up stairs with suitcase.

Broken lift”
The lift was broken so we had to carry a double pushchair with 3 children in up and down the stairs. Also asked for room to be cleaned but rubbish bag full of dirty nappies left in bathroom

Very bad experience. ”
I had booked a double room on the website but on their system it was registered as a single room. They said the room they gave me was the last room they had. When I checked into the room, the room was not even cleaned after the previous guest had checked out. I went down to the reception and checked with the person again who gave me a family room. The family room was bigger but it was in a horrible state. The curtains were ripped and lights were burst and the carpets were smelly. The staff were really good and polite.

Cannot understand why this place has so many positive reviews. It is not very clean, the rooms look tired and need updating. We kept our socks on rather than walk around in bare feet. The beds were very uncomfortable. I am a very fair reviewer and give positive feedback wherever I can. However, I struggle with this hotel !

I travel every month for business and leisure. I normally dont provide reviews but Agoda should be more prudent in accepting the advertised facilities against the actual state. Coming from Paris - Holiday Inn (which i also booked with Agoda) I had to cancel Radisson Blu - London because of flight changes and saw this hotel which looked as a last minute alternative. I thought i made a good deal because of price, facilities and location. - My mistake. Wont go back again even if its for free.

Perfect for a weekend with shopping at a good pric”
The rooms were newly renovated, so they were very nice. The size of the room av ok, not big, but good compared to ther London hotels. The breakfast was continental, so don't expect the greatest choise, but what they had was very good, and the staff was good at keeping the the breakfast room nice at all times. The best thing about the hotel was the location. It was 3 min walk from Earls court underground station. Shops and restaurants were also very close by. They also have a storage room, which is very good if your flight is leaving in the evening and you have to check out early. Good price for a good hotel

A great stay - good value for money”
I spent quite a long time trying to find a hotel in London that would be clean, centrally located and good value for money. If you are also looking for similar criterion then I suggest that the City Continental is an excellent choice. The hotel is literally around the corner from Earl's Court tube station (giving you access to both the District and Piccadilly lines) and is in a quiet street off Earl's Court Road. I was pleasantly surprised to find the rooms very clean, the staff friendly and the hotel in a good state of repair (there are even lovely flowers outside!). The breakfast gave a wide choice and the breakfast room was nice despite being in the basement. There are plenty of restaurants on Earl's Court Road and even a small supermarket or two quite handy if you want snacks. Tea and coffee making facilities are in the room, there is air conditioning and not a bed bug in sight. The only down sides would be no free WiFi in the room (although there is a computer in the lobby) and there seem very few rooms that aren't accessed via some sort of stairs but this isn't a problem once you are actually installed. I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

reasonable price with the good location”
hello , I had choosen this hotel after I reqd through the all high feed backs from other travelers. And I found the hotel is located in good area which is middle of the heathrow airport and the city centre. It is also near to tube station. Staff was very kind and informative. I had booked for the single room but the romm is for bigger then I expected and I had a double bed. The bathroom was cleaned everyday and i got the nice crispy towels everyday. The heater was fully worked so i did not use my electricity blanket. just one miss point is the breakfast. You have very basic stuffs. If they upgrade withe the good quality food such as fresh fruit . It would be much better. Well I highly recomended you this hotel if you planning for the budget hotel in london it will be good staying.

Great location, small room”
i visit london for 3.5 days, in october 2012. been by myself, i was looking for a 3 stars hotel that will be: 1. as close as can be to a central tube station 2. clean 3. good value for my money city continental has it all! you do have to know that the rooms are really really small if you plan on beeing outside all day long and come back at night for a good shower and good night sleep - this is it. brekfest wasn't a big hit ( though the dining room was under contraction). i reccomend this hotel for singel traveles or young coupels / priends.

Such a surprise when I reached my room, it was stunning, yes recently completely refurbished I know, but it was all of what I could ask for in a lower priced London Hotel. My room was spacious, clean and had a writing desk & swivel 'Office type Chair', settee etc. Tea and Coffee making facilities that just invited on e to use!!

I enjoy my stay at the City Continental London Kensington Hotel. The room was comfortable but still a little small. The bathroom was acceptable but to open up your suitcase in the room was a little difficult. Also watch out for cockroaches and bugs in the room. I'm not sure how they crawled in.
