Little bit of walk from Aberdeen bus station and ferry but can go through only one street from city center street so no problem going bars and restaurants. Very cozy room and comfy bed. They are very friendly and their dog is super friendly!! He just run over at me and let me rub his stomach:) very cute! Also for breakfast, you get to choose what you want in the Scottish full breakfast and that’s really good since some ppl don’t like black pudding... like me... and breakfast is very tasty as well! Oh and I asked for the laundry and it smells very nice! Thank you!!

We travelled from Glasgow for a Rod Stewart concert which got cancelled due to bad weather conditions. We were very disappointed. But the hotel eased our disappointment somewhat.. we arrived at this centrally located hotel to a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe room. Along with a chocolate platter and drinks vouchers in our room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. And I’d like to give a special mention to Paula on reception who couldn’t do enough for us. High five to this hotel for making an unfortunate situation much more bearable! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here if ever coming back to Aberdeen.

The room itself was nice, large and very clean. Great bathroom, bath and shower, large comfy bed, tv and a tea and coffee station. It was in a nice quiet area, it had a supermarket about 2 minutes away and was easily accessed by public transport. My only issue was with the gym, swimming pool and sauna...We were asked to pay extra for those facilities... Normally this would be included in the room price, we paid the £4 for an hour session but didn't return... Also the hotel restaurant is a very basic buffet, this wasn't specified as we entered andthe meal options were very limited. I think the quality of the food was poor and didn't match the price! We probably would return to this hotel as Aberdeen is very expensive and doesn't have much of a selection when it comes to accommodation.

This is a lovely house and well located for most things, especially if you have a car. There is off-street car parking available either at the back of the house or the alleyway beside it. That really helps. The facilities are clean and the host is friendly, welcoming and easy going. Breakfast is great, piping hot and fresh; served in a nice dining room with a view of the well kept front garden.

I was up in Aberdeen at the Scotland v Netherlands football game and stayed for 1 night at the Station Hotel. The location was excellent and represented excellent value for money. The rooms are very spacious and bathroom facilities very good. I didn't have time to use the lounge bar or the dining room, but I would have no hesitation about staying in the Station Hotel in the future.

This hotel was perfect for our night out in Aberdeen. A five minute walk took us to the restaurant we had booked for dinner. And it was also centrally located for bars after our visit to the theatre. The room and bed were comfortable and the shower was hot and powerful. All areas were clean. The room was warm despite the cold wind in Aberdeen and on a hot night it might have been too warm. We were facing the street but did not experience any noise issues. Breakfast was basic but there was cereal, fruit, yogurt, juice, toast, pastries as well as a limited cooked option of sausages, scrambled egg & beans. Adequate for anyone! All in all a fabulous location at a great price!

This is my second year to stay at Atholl Hotel. Overall I am extremely pleased with my stay,I.e, value for money. I love the breakfast, particularly the haddock and kipper. The coffeeis not the best but still very decent. Restaurant staff are consistently efficient and friendly. You can sense that it is in their nature to serve. The location of Atholl is really a big plus. One can get to anywhere in a short period of time, I.e., 10 mins to the Univerity of Aberdeen and 20 mins to the airport during the morning rush hours. Lastly, the rooms are very clean, roomy, good view and smell good. You sense that you get more than you pay for. I have looked at several options for Aberdeen and still think Atholl Hotel is on top of the list for tourists or businessmen.

We've been there for four nights...and wanted to stay for longer if we didn't wanted to see more of UK. Such a cosy place, John (host) was incredible nice, the beds were so comfortable, breakfast was perfect and so on... The guesthouse i situated a bit out of the center, 20min walk from/to the train staition, or the bus (only cash, no money return!) stops a few steps from the guesthouse if don't like to walk. So, i just can recommend a stay at the beeches and we would stay there again...for sure

Pleasant First time stay at recently opened Urban Resort Hotel, Aberdeen. First Approach: Car Park not exactly near to front entrance and when parking of evening noticed car park was much busier than in the morning. I assumed this was down to many people using hotel just for the leisure facilities before going home. This however did mean that genuine residents may have had to park further away due to close by spaces being taken. Hotel: Everything has new feeling and layout of open seated areas and bar/restaurant made for a good 'busy buzz' about it. The Starbucks on entrance was also a great touch for those needing an extra caffeine shot! Rooms: Functional and clean and bed very good (possibly down to being new!) For a hotel that is predominantly likely to attract business travellers I did feel the work desk area was a bit on the small side. Also a bit more thought in bathroom finish, would have better improved the otherwise modern layout: - No towel rail near sink - Position of toilet roll holder! - Shower screen meant always worried about flooding bathroom, why not just have a full one? Leisure Facilities: Pool was a great size for a hotel and steam/sauna room a great sanctuary to relax after a day’s work. Dinning: Ate in hotel three nights in a row and food quality was impressive (if not slightly expensive for a 3 Star Hotel) and, on the whole, everything put down I enjoyed. Only slight observations that I would like to make: Breakfast could be busy (though always plenty of seating) and this did mean a bit of a wait sometimes before coffee/tea order arrived. Beef Stroganoff - Sauce did not taste like a traditional Stroganoff and slightly disappointing taste. Caesar Salad - Chargrilled Chicken tasty but overpowering taste meant it was difficult to taste Caesar dressing. These minor discrepancies did not detract from a very pleasant stay and facilities in hotel will certainly make it a very popular choice with business travellers and families alike.

Very clean with friendly staff, located just of Anderson Drive within easy reach of the city center. The room have everything you need WiFi , coffee tea facilities and a well stocked mini bar. The drink prices in the main bar are very reasonable, unlike a lot of Aberdeen hotels. If i had one quibble it would be the cooked breakfast, it was somewhat cold and the bacon was char grilled and tasted strange, apart from that a very pleasant place to stay.

Porridge would be a welcome breakfast option (it is Scotland after all!!) And as you are the coffee house hotel, I was hoping for a bit of an education & to be tempted by all your different coffees in the morning. This is how it went: Me: Good morning! so what sort of coffees do you have then? Staff guy: Black or white? Me: Er.. what different types do you have? Staff guy: Americano, Latte, Cappucino? Me: I’ll have tea please. Not a complaint, but maybe staff awareness training ?

This is my second and last stay here. Nice hotel, but beds too hard for my liking. As with many Aberdeen hotels, over priced for the hotel standard. Recommend that due to shortage of hotel rooms in Aberdeen you book long in advance if you want to get value for money I needed to stay for an extra day due to an un planned meeting this hotel offered me a room at more than twice the normal room rate. Needless to say stayed elsewhere but also at a significant overcharge.
