Great WiFi. Great staff. Large rooms.Approx 15 mins from Abu Dhabi airport. Free shuttle to Abu Dhabi from the hotel. Taxi to Abu Dhabi City approx 50AED. Taxi to Yas Island approx 30AED. Off Licence in the Hotel. Attached to a shopping mall. Little else within walking distance in the area. You have to get taxis or drive to everything.McGettigans pub next door is a decent enough pub for food and drink. Hotel bar is very nice but expensive.The pool area is also very nice and at night they have music.One tip. We booked online with Agoda. Not a well known site in Europe. The rates on it were much cheaper than other sites. I dont work for Agoda. Enjoy.

Decide to make a little getaway for the weekend to Abu Dhabi from Dubai. Booked a simple room in the Palace. Arrived a little early than check in time and had to wait for 1,5 hours to get the room. Been a little upset about it, but once we entered these huge Apartments (I can call it by a less word) we were absolutely astonished. The hotel gave how the called it "a little surprise" and upgraded us to executive suite or something like this. The room was enormous in size and perfect in the interior. Dear Emirates Palace, Thank you so much for this magic weekend!

This was our first stay in Abu Dhabi and I'm so pleased we chose to stay at the Anantara Easern Mangroves. It's a little out the way from the city centre but we were aware of this when we booked as we were looking for somewhere away from the hussel of the centre, also Taxi's are plentiful and very reasonably priced. The staff were the best thing about the hotel, attentive but not over powering, every person we encountered were helpful, freindly and knowledgeable. To anyone that stays at the hotel I would strongly recommend pre booking for the breakfast! Probably one of the best I have ever had in a hotel! Also the Thai restaurant was amazing. We will definalty be back and will ensure we stay for a lot longer. I've also already put friends onto this hotel and feel more than comfortable in doing so. Finding our way to the OnetoOne hotel was a little bit of a challenge because of the roadworks that seem to be the mark of Abu Dhabi. But once there, I was delighted with the hotel. The service from staff was polite and prompt (eg. a lemonade appeared at my elbow without asking as I checked in, just to refresh me from the heat). Someone took my bags up to my room and opened up the curtains and pointed out where to find things, and then evaporated in the way that truly good staff should. The room itself had good strong sunlight-blocking curtains (a real must in a city like Abu Dhabi with glowing sunny days), and a gigantic bed which was I think the most comfortable bed I have ever been in in my life. Totally cosy and yet firm. The 'extras' included a loofah (something I have not encountered before in a hotel), shampoo, conditioner (a rare and wonderful thing), tissues, moisturiser, sewing kit, shower cap, nail file... what a list! Slippers and robes of course, and much appreciated bottles of water. I didn't hear a sound from any other room, nor street noise at all. The airconditioning was a little noisy at night but very efficient in cooling down the room. Internet access was free and easy to access, and there seemed to be heaps of choices on the big flat screen tv. Breakfast was an excellent buffet where omelettes are made to measure, there is a range of pastries, hot foods, cereals, cheeses, yoghurts, cold meats and fresh fruit. I even got to try camel's milk! In the evenings the swimming pool beckoned and I happily thrashed my way clumsily back and forth, debating about whether I should even bother going into the city centre tomorrow or just spend the day lazing by the pool reading and occasionally swimming. I feel the minuses to the hotel were truly minor, and would absolutely recommend it to anyone, whether a honeymoon couple or a well-to-do businessman.

I stopped in Abu Dhabi on my way back from Sydney to the UK as I was travelling with Etihad airways.I mainly wanted to relax by a pool,lap up the sunshine and enjoy good food.I chose the Khalidiya hotel because it had three swimming pools,one large one for adults and two smaller ones for children,also a small beach area.I found the hotel had wonderful facilities,including tennis courts,squash,courts,jacuzzi,sauna and massage.The breakfast was included in my booking and it was a buffet so there was a huge range of foods to entice you.Service was excellent apart from the waiter having to be reminded that I would like another cup of tea.They were very busy so I think that can be excused.The Hotel was close to most places of interest and shopping malls.I preferred to take a taxi as they were cheap rather than the hotel shuttle bus,as I like to do things in my own time.I thoroughly recommend this Hotel to anyone,whether a single,couple or family.It was a pleasure to be there.

The hotel is located near the corniche and is accessible to other famous landmarks in Abu dhabi. The room is very spacious and cozy. My room was facing the corniche which gave me a really amazing view. When I entered, the room was very cold and the aircon wont turn off so I had to turn it off from the main switch in the room. The window, on the other hand, was squeezed in between the hotel's columns, so it prevented the wind from blowing in. It was really hard to open and you had to push with all your force to have that 4inches opening. The bed was amazing! Soft pillows and a very comfortable bed which gave me a well rested feeling everytime I woke up. The toilet was ok. It had a little bit of dirt stains on the floor. The toiletries were sealed, or so i thought it was. When it was replenished the next day, some it was open already. They have shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, mouthwash, lotion and a hand soap. I tried the restaurant downstairs with my friends. We had the baked cheesecake which was delicious! And the walnut cake..not so good but my friend likes it. 25dirhams for a 2x5inches cake.. well, it'll do if you're craving for cakes. On the last day, I ordered breakfast in the rooftop by the pool. It took them 25mins which made me disappointed with the time it took them to serve it. However, the food was great, but, it will always be pricey, its still Sheraton afterall.

based on my recent stay in abu dhabi this was truely a wonderful surprise and a blessing. this is the greatest place to stay and the best value for money. happy and profession staff, i hate to say it but all staff(everyone) seems to be very competent. the room was excellent appointed everything was in like new condition. a - z a real pearl of a location even the front office was top of class in every way hope the is always there to assist.

First of Miloz and especially Akshay (Indian person at reception from night shift) at very early check in received our tired faces with opened arms by freely upgrading us to a suite: first blessing! Then Clement and the other Africain concierges have been really nice with my parents arranging all taxis and visits for them as they couldn’t speak English. Then we randomly met Mr Vartan Zakarian the front desk manager who spoils us four with infinite miracles: first a band aid for my bleeding foot, and then a free access to the executive lounge for us AND my parents!!! We could therefore enjoy all the vip facilities with special thanks to Anna (Ukrainian)& the Sri Lankan waiter at night and even more so to Grace (Philipino)in the morning for going out of their ways to bless us with the most personalised and perfect service. On the first and last days our breakfast was literally illuminated by Bikas’service who took on him to wish a happy birthday to my father before checking out by surprising him with a cake. On top of this we received a surprise cake in the room for our honeymoon and my father another birthday cake early morning that day! We felt blessed by Vikas, the egg station chef, the Cameroonian waitress and all the restaurant staff to customise all our needs according to my Ayurvedic treatment. But along with Mr Zakarian and Grace, the one who really made my stay was Talib concierge by being my eyes, ears and feet: I gave him the difficult task of being in charge of my father’s surprise birthday gift, as I couldn’t help but staying with my parents. He just genuinely and open-heartedly took care of everything, from printing the picture I had just taken of my papa and I in Abu Dhabi Louvre to going to town and find the most perfect frame for it, only after he made sure - without my request- the photo was properly photoshopped and printed on a nice photo paper... All this at the discretion of my spy Anna to whom I could arrange Talib to deliver the gift at the exe

I booked the hotel for two days of relaxing by a pool. Upon check in, I was informed the pool was closed for maintainence for the two days I was there. They did offer to try and find an alternative somewhere but the point was I wanted to relax and not leave the hotel. I think more effort should have been made to inform me when booking that a key facility was not going to be available. I would never have chosen to stay there otherwise. It wasn't a great start. The room itself was very comfortable and there was a decent tv channel section in English. The other disappointment was breakfast. Having enjoyed breakfast buffets at a number of other 5star hotels in Abu Dhabi and Dubai I can safely say this is not in their league. On both days (including one where I was seated beside the waiter station) my presence was never acknowledged and I had to eventually call someone over to put in a hot drink order. I asked for English tea on the second day and it arrived without milk. I requested some cold milk and the waiter acknowledged my request but never brought it. The food itself was pretty mixed bag, the mini pastries and scrambled eggs were nice but they had only highly processed turkey bacon and hotdog style sausages on offer. There was a good omelette chef, who was the most pleasant staff member there. Nothing could be ordered fresh from the kitchen like most 5star hotels. No French toast or pancakes and no hummos - a Middle Eastern staple in my opinion.

This hotel never fails us! We have stayed here countless times and we will be sure to stay again. The restaurant has recently been improved and the menu is diverse, the food well presented and the price point is just right. The room always ensures a good night's rest and if one plans on darting off to Dubai after a day in Abu Dhabi, this is a great place to stay. Also, there are very few hotels in Abu Dhabi that still compete in this price range. If one has an early morning flight out of Abu Dhabi International, there is not a comparable property as this one connects directly with the airport terminal.

My wife and I picked this hotel for a layover in Abu Dhabi 20 months previously and liked it so much that we chose it again this time. Its location in the centre of the city is ideal - close to restaurants, the Abu Dhabi Mall, the Corniche and other facilities. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we particularly appreciated it that they could give directions to a nearby doctors' clinic when we had a medical scare. Breakfast buffet had generous servings and ample choice. The room was clean, spacious and well-equipped (including a kettle); it was also smoke-free (not to be taken for granted on the Gulf). Our only complaint was that staff gave us two adjoining single beds rather than the requested double bed and refused to consider a change.

location - not really along Corniche Rd., but within walking distance (a block or two). there's a Choithram supermarket and small grocery store on the next building, there's also a pharmacy/drugstore. we passed by some nice cafes in the area, though we didn't get a chance to try them. rooms - we booked two rooms, and both are really spacious, with sitting area (large coffee table + 2 leatherette armchairs). simple but tastefully furnished. husband & I had a king-size bed, while mom-in-law and bro-in-law had twin beds in their room, as requested. hotel was fully booked when we were there (there was a triathlon on that same weekend) so we ended up having rooms three floors apart. they have separate shower and tub in the bathroom. be careful when taking a shower as water seeps out under the shower stall door, our bathroom floor got a bit flooded. taxi drivers seem familiar with the hotel, and so it was easy to get there. service - checkin was fast and guy was courteous, tried to accommodate our requests despite the late checkin. we called for additional drinking water for coffee/tea, and they sent a couple more complimentary bottles of water to our room immediately. upon checkout, girl at reception looked stern and didn't smile one bit. but checkout was fast so it was ok. if we plan to spend the weekend in Abu Dhabi again, we'd definitely consider staying in Oryx Hotel. this is way better than the previous hotel we booked before (also in the city centre).

I had a 12 hour layover from 11 PM to 11 AM so I picked Al Mafraq for its proximity to the airport, it’s reasonable rate and it’s amenities. I was not disappointed. I had never been out of the Abu Dhabi Airport before so I needed some extra attention. The Staff and management at This hotel made me so welcome and I felt like they truly appreciated my business. The buffet was good , the grounds and pool area were beautiful and the Gym/spa was open early. I was very impressed with everything including the room which had everything at a vet reasonable price . I am so glad that I didn’t stay at one of the Airport hotels but instead went ten minutes further to this oasis in the desert. Thanks everyone at the Malfraq for everything. Sincerely James

I had some work in Abu Dhabi and had to spend the night. I had a friend with me with her 6-month baby and am glad we booked at City Seasons Al Hamra. After a long day working we reached the hotel around 6 pm to check in, the warm welcome we received from the staff made us feel good since the first minute. The reception guy was nice and he even upgraded our premium room to a suite. Great place as of the value of money. Location is very good, I would go again for sure whenever am in Abu Dhabi. the facility is clean and the whole place smells nice. Friendly & helpful staff. thanks, City Seasons Al Hamra for the experience and looking forward to coming again soon.

Our stay was really good considering when we arrived as needed a wheel chair for my wife to be able to get around owing to a minor accident in Barcelona before we left on our way to Abu Dhabi. Hotel is in a good area with some others surrounding it, not that far from the airport. Booking of excursion was easy, just roll up to the desk and away you go. Would suggest to anyone to go on the Safari, we had a wonderful time. A visit to the Mosque was also worth the worry of needing a wheel chair when we arrived there, but no problem as there were some there for use of visitors. The use of Taxis to get around is really good and quite inexpensive - I would advise the use of them. We found all the staff very helpful and obliging making our stay much more enjoyable and easier. The loan of the wheel chair for the duration of the 2 days we were there was a real bonus as without that, getting around would have been very hard. My recommendation for this Hotel is go for it as it is lovely and modern throughout with air-conditioning, pool, restaurants, bar and a small shop for necessities etc. Thank you to the staff and management.

We stayed 1 night, the night before Eid-ul-Fitr celebration. I arranged the trip with hope to join the prayers in the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Asked the receptionist about the time of the prayers. surprisingly, they didnt know and had to ask around before letting us know. I might be wrong, but I expect a hotel in Abu Dhabi would know such information at hand and be able to guide traveller in need. Eid morning felt like a normal day, for which once again, i expect would be much more festive and interesting. Apart from above experience, hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our short stay a comfortable one. My advice is to ditch extra bed requests, and go for a new room instead. Stellar stay nonetheless.

The location is good - next to Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre where you can find a huge supermarket, many colourful shops and the famous Gold Market. The area around Madinat Zayed is also very lively, with lots of local shops and eateries. The other attractions are just a bus ride away. The bus stop outside Madinat Zayed Shopping Centre has buses going to Grand Mosque (bus 32), Yas Island/Ferrari World (bus 290) and Airport (bus A1). The bus stops along Zayed 1st Street has buses going to Marina Mall and Abu Dhabi Mall. Taxis are also plentiful (less than 20-30Dh downtown, 70Dh to Airport). The hotel itself is clean and the service is efficient. My room is on the 11th floor and the view is good. If I come back to Abu Dhabi I will stay here again.

This is our sixth visit to the resort Each time we notice quality progress in the services they offer. the area is remarked with cleanliness and excellent maintainace of the zoo service. The place is amazing for kids activities as well as adults in one place; fun zoo activities, swimming pools, games area and playing area allows you to enjoy your saty with very busy schedual. We were a big family staying in many rooms. the friendly staff did maxiumun support to make our stay special. I would highly recommend this place for any visitor to Abu Dhabi. It is a must see. My only advice to the team is to spread the amzing story of establishing the park since early days. its story adds to its value a lot. Thanks to Emirates Park Team.

This hotel, albeit a bit old, is clean and comfortable, ideal for budget travelers. The location is wonderful: about 10 min ride to Abu Dhabi central bus station, with many restaurants, fast food joints, and 24hr supermarkets just around the corner. WTC Mall is a short 15 min walk. The bus stop for bus 94 (to Louvre and Grand Mosque) is 1 min walk from hotel. Th bus stop for A2 (to Abu Dhabi International Airport) is 8 min walk from hotel. I’d stay here again when I visit Abu Dhabi again.

i just made a short stop over in abu dhabi. the kingsgate hotel, located in the heart of the tourist club area, was a good choice for my short stay there. it's very close to the abu dhabi mall and bus stations from which you can reach any place in the city. it is also quite close to the main bus terminal of abu dhabi from where you can reach dubai for 15 dirham. unfortunately the internet in my room was not working from the beginning. the staff of the hotel, however, tried to solve the issue as soon as possible. after sending a technician i was glad to see that i had a connection. i would recommend this place to anybody, who is looking for a nice and cheap place to stay. if you want to make vacations at the beach, you should however look for another place, since the place is not too close to the sea.

Had booked a studio apartment - very large room and very clean. Staff were also very friendly. Gym is quite well equipped - not that large in space, but has more than enough equipment. Location is slightly out of town though, so if you are a tourist and planning to visit Abu Dhabi, this might not be your best option. Having said that, the hotel is very close to the Abu Dhabi Exhibition centre - just opposite by walking. A number of eateries and convenience shops nearby as well (Carrefour, Starbucks, La brioche, etc.)

This is a top class luxury hotel, where the staff are polite and attentive and there are all the facilities you would expect for the star rating. The room is exceptionally well designed, with a free standing bath tub and a really comfortable bed. The internet is particularly fast and reliable compared to other hotels in Abu Dhabi. The room service is amazing, the food comes with a french macaroon and a vase of flowers for decoration and the portion sizes are large. The pool area is lovely and the lifeguard is very attentive in laying out your towels for you. The only criticism is that the pool is on the 8th floor and is surrounded by the rest of the high rise hotel, so it doesn't get the sun all day at this time of year. I didn't go to the spa or eat in the restaurant but I have no doubt they are top quality like the rest of the hotel.

Great Hotel and location , clean rooms, hospitality staff. the first day i came they maintained the CCTV and i thought that they were cleaning the rooms. After that it is calm and quiet all days and nights. Already extended two times till end of July.and i will be here one more month until the end of August. Excellent place to stay when you want to run your business in Abu Dhabi.
