Traveling to Australia? Find Adelaide hotels

I had a good two-night stay at Sage. It's location on the South Terrace is a bit away from the main CBD area (which is near North Terrace), but the tram is closeby. Plus, it is a main hotel in Adelaide so tour operators can pick you up from this hotel. So, it depends on what you intend to do in Adelaide, as it's fairly quiet no matter if you're on South Terrace or North Terrace. Room service was fantastic, the food was very nice and delivered in a timely manner. As with all Adelaide, friendly people, so the staff were very helpful. The bathroom was a little bit dirty, but I wouldn't fault them that much on that. I had a very nice room, with a complimentary upgrade to the Executive King Suite on the 11th Floor, which had a very nice view along South Terrace looking westwards.

We enjoyed the central location of this apartment, within easy walking distance of Rundle Mall, the Glenelg tram, a supermarket and Adelaide Markets. The apartment's size was generous and it was well-appointed with all the necessary crockery and cutlery available to use in self-catering. The reception staff were friendly and helpful in booking a taxi to Adelaide Airport and for printing out our boarding passes.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at The Ibis Adelaide Hotel. The location was fantastic with a short walk through to Rundle Mall. Hotel is close by main tram line which runs down to Glenelg. Plenty of eateries close by to choose from. Staff on front counter very friendly. Room was neat, clean and tidy. Breakfast was very good with many options to choose from. I look forward to returning again in the future.

Good stay in a great hotel. We were a group of 3 guys in Adelaide for the weekend and this apartment was exactly what we were after. Fully equipped kitchen really helped. One issue was that we had booked a spot in the car park and upon returning from McLaren Vale on a Saturday afternoon, there were no available car spots, as someone had taken ours. We had to wait around for someone to leave (which thankfully was only 10 minutes) before we could park our car. Apart from that, fantastic stay and we would highly recommend to anyone!

A prominent Hotel on the corner of West/South Tce overlooking Parklands in Adelaide, South Australia. The entrance is only accessible by travelling south along West Tce. It has a small but secure Car Park with direct Hotel entry. Guests are treated to a sixth floor Bar and Restaurant, (dinner service only) plus Gym, Swimming Pool and Spa all with great views. The Bar had the basics but lacked locally made boutique drinks for which the city is renound. The Restaurant offered a small selection on its menu where they more than made up the local content with some delicious meals. At ground level the Smorgasbord Breakfast is cooked alongside the servery and offers fresh and tasty selections. The dining area, although small, is a wonderful place to greet the day from and has some outside tables too. The King Spa room had limited Room Service and no discernible views but was spacious and extremely comfortable. An affordable stay with a touch of luxury.

I arrived very early after an international flight and was made to feel very welcome by Michelle who arranged a room for me as soon as she could. The rooms are surprisingly big and the bathrooms are generous and well maintained. The coffee hut out the front is fabulous and the restaurant on the first floor is definitely worth a visit. This will be my go to hotel in Adelaide from now on.

My stay at BreakFree was excellent. It is convenient, about a 10-15 minute walk from Rundle Mall, less than 5 minute walk to the free shuttle bus stop and tram stop. The cab fare from Adelaide Airport to the hotel is about A$20. The location of the hotel was very peaceful and serene. The free wifi and computer connected to printers at the hotel lobby are particularly useful. The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. The room is equipped with full cooking facilities - induction stoves, microwave oven, conventional oven, refrigerator, pots, plates, cutlery, and even salt and pepper! I There is a courtyard which is quite spacious and good for enjoying sunshine/night breeze.

My wife & I spent a few days in the Adelaide Hills, based in Hahndorf. What irked us somewhat was the requirement to wash our dishes in the bathroom sink. This is where people wash their toilet hands, spit/clean teeth, & other general ablution type tasks. Toilets also splash up to 2 meters when flushed, if the lid is not down. Hence a bathroom is not necessarily a clean place to wash dishes from which you may be eating later. If the issue is cutting costs, then at least provide a basin to wash the dishes in, within the kitchenette. These days, there seems to be an increasing reliance on the guest to do these tasks, whereas in times past, this was included in the room service. Apart from this, we generally enjoyed our stay though the mattress was also a little hard. Staff were great, though when we returned from a walk, we were let into our room without providing any ID, a security risk that needs to be reinforced in case of complacency &/or wishing to not offend.

Great stay at this older style Hotel with charecter. I fly to Adelaide once a month for business and generally stay in CBD. I took a punt on this north Adelaide hotel and it was great value for money and location is fantastic in both morning and afternoon peak to get in and out of. Rooms are fine as too was the bathroom. I would recommend to anyone to give it a go and save some cash. I will be staying here on my next trip.

Wonderful stay at the Ensenada, I have walked past this Motor Inn on many trips to Adelaide believing inside would be dated and unsatisfactory. Wow was I surprised! While still needing a little modernising inside, and definately outside, I was so impressed by the service from staff and the ease of catering to our needs. I will be looking to stay here again and again.

After an 8-hour drive from Melbourne, this place felt very welcoming. The lady at the front was helpful, answering our queries and giving us tips to make the most of our short visit. We were glad we could relax after doing our long day trips within Adelaide and surrounds, and return to a clean and comfortable room. The room was a good size for a family of four. The kids loved the indoor pool, and it was a relief to find laundry facilities within the premises (with free detergent!). There was reliable Wifi access, which was a plus for all. The one disappointing thing during our stay was finding used teaspoons washed improperly, but everything else was maintained well enough when requested for the room to be made up. Overall, it was a most pleasant stay and has definitely added to making our first trip to Adelaide memorable.

The stay was wonderful. We were upgraded to a 2 bedroom apartment instead of a1 bedroom apartment. The rooms were large and comfortable, the bathroom was big and clean and the living room and kitchen was big open and light filled oh and it even had a good sized balcony. The balcony was missing furniture however but I assume its on the way as they only just opened. The furniture and amenities in the room were clean, comfortable and made our stay really lovely with the room equipped with everything you need like an oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and dryer. The room itself seemed to be quiet and we did not hear a peep from any of the other guests that were staying there. The staff were lovely too and were very helpful. There was a slight mistake with the account and I was overcharged but once i spoke to the staff they fixed it right away. The location was great and was in a quiet area but only a minute walk to a pleather of cafes, bars and restaurants. All the other inner city sights such as the markets and main shopping street were only a 10 minute walk away. It really was great value for money and we really enjoyed our stay, highly recommend anyone wanted a home away from home when they visit Adelaide.

I stayed at this apartment with a girl friend for 4 nights. We wanted to be central to everything as it was our first time to Adelaide. We found it was cheaper to book with Agoda and paid $118 per night. From the airport we caught the J1 bus to Currie Street for $2.50. Then had less than a 5 minute walk to Quest. The markets were 10-15 mins walk from the apartment and it was close to Rundall Mall. The bus to Glenelg beach is also right outside Quest so this made it is to travel and sight see. The apartment itself was clean, spacious and quite quiet (I stayed in a one bedroom 808). The rooms are serviced daily and are equipped with a microwave, fridge and portable stove. Would definitely recommend staying here if you're looking for a cheap but comfortable stay.

I stayed at the motel for a week and from the moment I arrived I felt happy and pleased with my choice to stay in Port Noarlunga in this lovely , clean and well located and well organized motel. It's only a short walk down to the beautiful beach and local shops and bars. I had a fantastic time and staying at the motel made my trip perfect. The owners are so friendly and helpful and will make sure that you are well looked after and comfortable during your stay. The motel rooms are clean ,tidy and nicely decorated. I had all I needed and felt very comfortable . Altogether and to sum my trip up ...l had the perfect time at the best motel I ever stayed in in South Australia . I will be coming back and can recommend this place to anyone because it is of the highest standard and the owners can only be praised for running it so well . Thank you for my beautiful stay at the Port Noarlunga Motel !!!

We did not realise we had to book parking before we arrived so we were assigned a room without parking off street. We had to park on the street and incur parking meter costs plus risk of parking fines if we didn't keep up with parking meters. Very inconvenient, but, as pointed out by the staff on many occasions our own fault for not booking parking in advance. (We did not notice that this needed to be booked in advance, perhaps if this was more clearly shown as a request option we would not have been so stupid as to not book it). The attitude of the staff in the office the morning after our arrival was most disappointing, she was quite rude about our lack of pre-booking of the parking and is the single reason we would never stay at this property in Adelaide again. Staff attitude is a reflection of management and this one was rude. AC system inadequate. Bed dangerous/uncomfortable.

I stayed at YHA Central Adelaide twice and can highly recommend this hostel to other travelers. The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, great security, located centrally, free long term storage, and daily special events. The staff is very helpful and friendly. You won't be disappointed by the level of comfort and the location of this hostel. Agoda has the lowest price as well!

The apartment was clean and nicely decorated, with a fully equipped kitchen. Location was fine too as it was quiet and close to the airport. However there wasn't much customer support. We booked it via agoda about 1 month in advance, but there was no instruction on how to check until the day of booking where we received an SMS with the PIN for the apartment. I think mentioning it on the voucher or confirmation would be nice. And during our stay, one day the electronic lock stopped working, and nobody answered the hotline. Eventually we managed to contact their staff by dialling the number they used to send the SMS, and it took about 1 hour for help to arrive. The staff member was friendly and helpful once we got to call him, but it was terrible experience getting locked out of the apartment and had to wait an hour for help. Overall the facilities were awesome, but they can certainly improve on providing more information on the agoda listing (I found some of the information I needed from their official website).

Well appointed , and convenient location. Tram stop and shopping centre ( Woolworths, BWS, Coffee, Newsagent) just across the road. All the shops and eating places down the street to the beachfront. Very comfortable and easy to live in apartment. Trouble free and stress free time. Discovered Glenelg Sports Club nearby, has meals lunch and dinner every day. Free 14 day public transport ticket for seniors...you have to travel into CBD to get it but they refunded our fare spent getting there! Tram stops at Morphetville Racecourse so easy to get to the nags if thats your want. Friendly locals and Adelaide has a lot going for it.

I was traveling for work but the usual hotel chains in the city were fully booked so I thought I should try something different. Decor was trendy. The room was very spacious and clean. Minibar was stocked with milk, beer and drinks. And there was a welcome bag of snack - a nice touch. Bathroom spacious and clean. Check in (at the bar downstairs) was a breeze. Good location, 15 mins from airport and can walk everywhere. Downsides - The price of the hotel was on the high side for Adelaide. Room was kinda dark so rather dim if you wanted to get some real work done. The room in front had street noise and also insulation wasn't good so there was some draft.

Pros: Beautifully designed villa, with all the amenities required. Location was great with a bus stop just out in front if you want to take the bus into Stirling for dinner. Cons: Hot water (and pressure) was only available from one amenity at a time (e.g. could not draw a bath whilst using the shower). It was a shame that we couldn’t use the double shower. Not sure if this is usual for all places in the area, however was surprised to see a double shower in the design if this were the case. This in itself meant that the place was no more special than any other 5 star accommodation in the area.
