We have just returned from another fantastic holiday at the Sahara Sunset Club. As usual everything was perfect. The service from all staff is great, however I single out Juan Antonio in reception as being the best. He is very professional, helpful and courteous. I would say that he is the best front desk operator I have come across in any hotel I have ever visited. We were allocated an apartment in Royal Oasis block. It was very modern and exceptionally clean. Everything was in perfect working order, including the fast WIFI. The Casbah restaurant continues to provide excellent food and drink with great service. There is also an abundance of other bars and restaurants in the immediate area with a wide variety of cuisine and costs. Both outdoor pools looked great with plenty of comfortable loungers and mattresses but the weather wasn't the best to use the pools. The hotel also has a gym, spa and indoor pool but we did not use these facilities.

Stayed here for one week & loved it! If you're looking for somewhere a bit more cultural than your usual package hotel this is it. Located in the bustling town of Arroyo everything is right on your doorstep. You can still lose yourselves down the quaint backstreets & enjoy the amazing Spanish food on offer. Easy 20 minute walk down to the beach & catch one of the local buses back up. Also don't forget to visit Benalmadena Pueblo..beautiful village 10 min bus ride up the hill. The pension itself immaculately clean,spacious rooms,air con & fan! A great shared kitchen with fridge. Felt very at home during my stay. Highly recommend it.

Traditional Spanish style hotel , nice swimming pool , nice bar and terrace area , a buffet dinner for 10 euro . Hotel is a bit dark ( on the road side view anyway ) - it needs a bit more lighting in the rooms . Also there was no entertainment on for kids or at nightime which I would have expected for Easter week but still a very nice but basic hotel in a good location .

a nice appartement very close to the beach. big bathroom with window and a balcony. quietly situated, no traffic. but the building needs urgently to be refurbished. unfortunately the bedrooms are closed to the place where the garbage is collected, during the night all the restaurants bring their garbage, bottles etc. to this place, and every day early in the morning the truck came several time to pick it up.

We agree with most reviews about the cleanliness, location, staff and food all being excellent. However, the hidden treasure for us is Asi in the beauty salon. When we arrived we asked about having a massage and was referred by reception to someone a few streets away. We then met Asi, who was canvassing the pool area and she told us she did massages as part of her daily treatments. Having both experienced her treatments, including full massage, eye brow shaping (wife, not me!) and haircuts, we need everyone to be aware how friendly and lovely Asi is and the hotel need to promote this more, as she is truly an absolute gem! Would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone coming to Benalmadena, but please take the time to visit Asi.
