Booked arena one bedroom apartment for 12 days to go to the commonwealth games as it was near to south Brisbane station. Full kitchen and laundry with good outdoor area made it easy to cook our own meals and keep up with washing. Home away from home and close enough to walk into the Brisbane CBD and Southbank parks. Nothing was too much trouble for staff. Loved our stay.

we have been coming to this hotel in brisbane city for 12years. the location is fantastic, southbank, cafes, convention centre, qpac, suncorp stadium, gabba and the city just across the water. the rooms are great along with the fantastic service, room service and the views of the river and city of a night. we always make this our first choice. living 3 hours from brisbane city, it is such a pleasure to be greeted by lovely people who make you very welcome and ridges is a great relaxing place to unwind for the weekend......

Check in was delayed due to computer problem, but I still got into my room well before the official check in time. But whether due to availability, generousity or whether to thank me for my patience I was upgraded from a single to a double. The rooms are not spaceious, but I did manage to get two large suitcases in and still move around. Also though I had a window, much of it was taken up by the air-con unit. But that suited me, as when I was in the room, it was to sleep, so the blind would have been closed anyway. Fridge with cold water (and space for your own drinks and food)and a tv, makes the room very guest friendly. Walking distance to the railway, and from there easy links to the airport or elsewhere in Australia. Staff very friendly and down to earth, willing to do the simple things, like help me with my bags up the three or four steps to the lift. Only way this hotel could get better in my mind would be to include free wifi, currently you have to pay. Comfort and location on a budget in Brisbane, a great gem of a hotel.

On a positive note the apartment was large and airy. The dish draw dishwasher did perform well. The other facilities were disappointing in that the included free wi-fi was poor at best. The front load washing machine was caked in washing powder and required considerable cleaning before it could be used. A Foxtel box was in the apartment but provided no access to any channels. The microwave tray was very dirty. The shower recess had mould around the framework and really didn't provide the guest with an impression that the apartment had been cleaned since the last occupants.

We stayed for 2 nights after travelling in Australia for 3 weeks. This was a perfect end to a perfect holiday and the apartment was outstanding for cleanliness and comfort. Everything in the apartment and the hotel itself were clean and to a high standard and this was noticed throughout. The personal little touches such as washing powder and dishwasher powder were welcomed. We used the swimming pool facilities and didn't find any faults at all. Fantastic apartments to stay in for a short period of time and even longer if needed. Will definatley return to Republic apartments when we return to Brisbane.

I was on transit from Malaysia to Fiji when I stayed here and I had a very good experience staying at this hotel. I will definitely stay here again if I am traveling by myself to Brisbane or past Brisbane. Liz, at the main reception, is exceptionally helpful. She helped me to get a late check-out on the 20th of September 2015, my flight back to Singapore was at 11.35pm and I requested for check-out at 8.30pm and she fulfilled my request. She also gave me great advice and information on where to buy souvenirs around the Brisbane CBD and in the Southbank. Thank you very much!

Amazing view from 17th floor, walking distance to everything, amazing food outlets everywhere, modern and really comfortable. My only feedback for Soda management is to suggest you email or text your customers a week prior to their stay to confirm address and check in … I booked 6 months prior via Agoda and didn't get any email or message from Soda leading up to our stay. It would have been really (really) handy to have received a courtesy email confirmation a couple days prior to staying. I look forward to staying there again the next time we come to Brisbane.

My husband and I stay in Brisbane several times per year to attend horse racing. We have our preferred hotel but like to mix it up and try a new place from time to time. I often wondered about Mantra on Mary as we can usually see it from another hotel. We got a good deal and were impressed that we were booking an apartment instead of the usual hotel room. The facilities were modern, clean and practical and the location is exactly where we like to be. We were so surprised however when we realised that they did not offer free wifi, and it was costly to purchase. We do like to utilise wifi when we are away, so we won't be booking again at the Mantra on Mary. We are seasoned travellers both domestically and overseas and I can not remember the last time that wifi was not complimentary in a hotel.

The hotel stands at the top of a hill overlooking Brisbane and the Roma Street Parklands (which are great!). It's an easy walk into town and not too bad coming back up as you can walk through the park. A free shuttle bus stops directly outside the hotel for those who don't like walking (note that this stops at 7.30 in the evening). Desk staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was large, clean and comfortable and had a good view over Brisbane. We had a problem with the balcony door in our room which did not close properly and so we had a lot of traffic noise on our first night as the hotel overlooks a road junction which is very busy at peak times. This was promptly and efficiently dealt with when we reported it but it's worth checking this aspect of your room as we noticed that a number of the external windows were reaching the end of their life so this problem might not just be rstricted to the room that we stopped in.

Great sized room with latest furnishings, ensuite. Very clean, tidy. Bonus having a balcony. Staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Hotel surrounded by two parks. Took about 10 min leisurely walk into centre of city So best of both worlds. Had dinner in hotel on last evening and it was good, but wine was outstanding. Thank you Pacific..if ever back in Brisbane, we'll be booking up with you.

We had never stayed in The Manor before during any of our trips to Brisbane - had walked past it several times though. This time it came up as a special for our dates and BINGO! - it was perfect. My husband cannot walk long distances and The Manor's location was just right for him to get to and from Central Railway station. We also found it a very easy walk for him to a Citycat stop at Riverside. We always go dining when in Brisbane in New Farm or Bulimba or West End or Southbank as we find restaurants in the 'burbs' are sooooo much better and the Citycat and Cityhopper are great ways to travel up and down the river. The closeness to The Mall to The Manor allowed us to go shopping together for a while until my husband was tired and he was able to go back to our unit when tired. No hills! We love going to events or shows. we find Brisbane is our preferred place to see these things as there is always SO many other things to do as well and Brisbane is a really great place to move around. The location of The Manor is so central to any transport you would need to see an event/show. We're booked for another show in early February and we're staying in our new favourite place to stay in Brisbane - The Manor.

Excellent. Will book again for next year. Everything was exactly as described, very clean and heaps of towels and linen etc, kitchen fully stocked with utensils to cook with, but why cook when an easy 5 minute walk away were cafes and restaurants and pubs. The park across the road was great with plenty of space to kick the football and also a really nice playground for the youngest. The apartment was also easy walking distance to Brisbane CBD and the museum and science centre were even closer. We loved our stay and will be back.

I was in Brisbane for BigSound and location was a quick walk to all the venues. Good size apartment and provided the space I needed to relax and recharge before heading out again. Fantastic to have laundry facilities and come home with clean clothes after a week. Not much natural light enters the space but I wasn't spending a great deal of daylight hours at the apartment. I had no negative issues and would consider staying next year when I am back again.

We needed a hotel to stay, close to the airport, after a very long flight from Europe, and we arrived in Brisbane at 2 in the morning. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful even at 3 in the morning. The room service breakfast (bacon and eggs) was perfect. The hotel is brand new and perfectly clean, the bathroom was also very clean and nice. The hotel is on a very loud main road, as are all the hotels close to the airport. For our purpose of distance to the airport it was perfect and I was so relieved to see how clean and comfortable the room was.

Was spending a couple of days in Brisbane during the week while partner was in hospital so was a little anxious and on edge. As soon as I walked in the staff made me feel very relaxed and were extremely helpful. The room wasn't huge but nicely appointed. As my partner's surgery was delayed I arrived back close to midnight after the restaurant was closed. When asked what late night options were available close by he said he could heat something up from the cafe in the foyer, which was closed, that was greatly appreciated. Also a special mention to the bar manager there who was extremely friendly and had an incredible knowledge of the wines on offer. Looking forward to my next stay here in a few weeks time.

The location is good, in the CBD but not right in the heart of it, but about an 8-minute walk from the central station. I enjoyed mt stay in Brisbane and everything worked exactly as it should. It should be noted this is *not* a hotel but an apartment building so if you require hotel services like concierge, business centre etc, they don't exist. Also, the reception is only manned during business hours. This was fine with me but if you need assistance after hours, you'd be out of luck. But don't let that out you off - the two staff members I spoke to were both very pleasant and helpful, the premises spotlessly clean, the wireless internet worked well and the apartment I stayed in had a huge balcony that caught the sun for much of the day. I'd visit Brisbane again and I'd definitely stay at Frisco again!

although the room is pretty much standard, but its very clean and tidy. each bed has 4 different pillows to choose. basic tea and coffee facility is available. the hotel also has other facilities which i personally did not explore due to time constrain. sebel hotel and citigate hotel are two separate towers, but with the same lobby. but sebel is newer. so my recommendation is: if they both have same advertised price, go for sebel. the hotel is very strategically located in the heart of the city, 5-7 mins from central station or roma station, where you can get off from the brisbane airtrain from the airport.

We have stayed here twice now, just overnight, when we had events on in Brisbane. The apartments are perfectly located, the staff super friendly and professional, and the apartments themselves, perfectly adequate. The only reason I didn't give it a perfect score was that the cleanliness of the shower in our room left a lot to be desired, lots of mould and almost what looked like a type of sludge in the corners and the shower screen itself had a lot of lime scale along the bottom of the door. Yuck! When cleaned properly this shouldn't happen. The apartment itself however, was lovely and clean. Will definitely stay here again when next in Brisbane overnight, and will definitely recommend to others.

the hotel is in south bank but it is closer to the south brisbane train station. it only took 20 minutes from the airport by train to the south brisbane station. unfortunately the hotel is a little difficult to find. grey st runs over the top of montigue st so if walking the 5 minutes to the hotel one needs to turn left before hitting the bridge over montigue st and the brisbane river. then take the first left and the hotel is at the end of the small one-way street. there was a queen bed and a single bed in my room,which took up a lot of space but everything else was 4 to 5 star...

Friendly, clean and quiet. In an industrial area with busy roads but rooms were quiet. The road system made accessing the motel tricky especially at rush hour. If you miss the entry You have a few kilometres of busy traffic to double back. I think it can only be accessed off the A7 from Brisbane. I recommend asking their advice. Not much of s choice of food options around especially in the evening. I don't mean to be negative, just advising. I'd stay again for work in the area.
