"This was our third stay in 3 months and was chosen primariy because of it closeness to the centre of Brisbane. Great room menu at very affordable prices. The rooms are well appointed and they probably have the best appointed bathrooms in Australia. Found the staff to be helpful, warm and friendly. Will return again."

"This was my second stay at Code Apartments and I do not feel the need to seek any other accommodation in the future. It suits my purposes ideally. As they are serviced apartments, not a hotel, you need to self-cater. There is no on-site dining facility. This is a minor issue which was of no concern to me, personally, whatsoever. The apartments are within a five-minute easy stroll of the southern end of Bowen Hills railway station (only two stops north of Brisbane Central and six stops from Brisbane Airport) and are visible from the station. For me, as comfortable as a five star hotel, without the price tag."

"I booked this for a transit stop as it was the cheapest on offer in the Brisbane Airport area. Will definitely make it my regular transit hotel there - room was spacious and comfortable; bathroom recently refurbished; all spotlessly clean. Reception staff particularly helpful and efficient; including arranging a taxi for pre-dawn departure. Strong wi-fi, and the room was quiet despite closeness to highway. "

"I decided to stay a night at this hotel after I arrived back after my long flight as I couldn't be bothered to drive all the way to the Gold Coast. This hotel is located at Kangaroo point which has a Suburban feel, with a short ferry ride to the city which is free. There is also some bars, restaurants and cafes which are walking distance from hotel and good views of Story bridge and city skyline. This 5 star hotel is pretty good value for money where it has free Car park for guests and have a choice of dry cleaning or do it yourself laundry for free, not many 5 star hotels in Brisbane have free car parking for guests. The food and the breakfast at the restaurant was nice and you can order snacks while you're at the pool. The staff were friendly and helpful and it has a small business feel more than a big hotel chain. I will stay at this hotel every time I arrive back at Brisbane."

"Travelling to Brisbane is a pleasant journey with Holiday Inn Express Hotel. Location is just a walking distance to the city proper and central train station. Planning to go to Mt Cootha n planetarium, there is a direct bus 471 near d hotel, it's very convenient. Also, there is a nearby 7-11 for a quick snack or to buy toiletries. Planning to go to Gold Coast, hop on an airtrain from the central station for a day tour of the beach. Don't forget to bring your skimpy swimwear. Hotel is well-groomed n hotel room is very clean, thanks to the efficient staff. Hotel food has few options, no rice but toasted bread. I suggest if you could change bacon into chicken or beef. Not everyone eats pork or better yet, a pork-free menus. Bonus one are the pastries that taste really really good, so yummy. It would be a plus if you could provide a disposable slipper because d floor near d door feels so cold although the remaining floor is covered with carpet. "

"Stayed here for a short business trip in Brisbane. I found that the hotel was perfectly situated close to a Woolworths (10 mins walk), bus stops, central station, and plenty of places to eat! The room was very spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities you need. Very reasonably priced considering! My only criticism is that the bathroom was a little run down looking, but perfectly clean and functional. Otherwise a really great spot and would definitely stay here again!"

Took about 10 min leisurely walk into centre of city So best of both worlds. Had dinner in hotel on last evening and it was good, but wine was outstanding. Thank you Pacific..if ever back in Brisbane, we'll be booking up with you."
