Traveling to Italy? Find Catania hotels

We stayed there for a total of 3 nights (2 nights when we landed and one more before our take off). Located very close to the city center of Catania and offer modern and clean rooms for a fair price. Nothing to compare to other hotels around.

Great place close to airport. Extremely helpful staff and service. Quick pickup from airport, just needed to figure out how to use an Italian pay phone. Nice quiet rooms. Great start and stop point for a vacation in Sicily or Aeloian Islands. Wonderful hotel for the value. The staff spoken a number of languages including English. They organized a local tour of Mt. Etna for me. It's only minutes from one of the main roads in Catania- via Etna

Although it was very early in the season (beginning of March) the place was very run down looking with all the facilities closed except the restaurant, there were even a couple of abandoned cars on site. The 2 night managers were great, but service staff were unfriendly / rude. Breakfast lady never smiled, acted as if our presence was a nuisance. Older man who acts as day manager was very harsh with my sister in-law when she didn't wash a drinking glass, worse with my wife, shouting and gesturing angrily because she left a balcony door slightly ajar. The staff buzzed us in through the imposing wooden doors, walking us through a large, friendly courtyard to the office for a quick and easy check-in process. The room itself was more of an efficiency apartment, with a full kitchen including stove and full size fridge. The bed was quite comfortable. A very pleasant stay for two nights in Catania. we stayed in an apartment which was not in the same palace as the main hotel, but only 50m walk away. the apartment was also located in an old building with view onto a beautiful piazza. the apartment was very spacious, all worked well. check in and check out at the lobby was easy and friendly. secure parking was also provided for very small fee

Good value room with a great location on Catania, right in front of Teatro Bellini. All the sight are in the neighborhood and the bus stop to the airport is also really close. Unfortunately we did not meet Claudia but talked on phone.

First impression of the area is " rough" but we were wrong . Within 10 min walk there are the nice streets and up market shops and restaurants. This is a wonderful B & B, a five-star room with a six-star breakfast. Food is really top quality. The location is good for the city, although it can be noisy which is to be expected for the center or a city. Internet is spotty in places, but these are the only negatives for what is really a lovely place with wonderful generous hosts. Would return!

This was a very misleading hotel name. There was a decent bed, but no thought of breakfast included, and when I questioned the proprietor, he just shrugged his shoulders. The positive here was that they stayed up until 12:30am to recieve us. When you book this hotel you can see - breakfast included. But, you need to ask staff about breakfast . Nobody speak English. We are stay 2 days with coffee.
