"We have stayed here before but it hadn’t been refurbished. The hotel has been modernised and what a transformation. The staff are wonderful and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the doors and nothing is a problem to them. The rooms are very nicely done with nearly everything you need for a good nights sleep except on the Bank holiday weekend the weather was a scorcher and the heat in the room was uncomfortable. This was easily remedied with a trip to reception and the collection of a fan. Overall the hotel made our weekend with family and friends very enjoyable and we would definitely stay there again. Once again a big thank you to all the wonderful staff."

"Hinds Head is a value for money pub accommodation. It’s clean and pleasant with friendly and welcoming staffing. My room had a nice easterly view of the West Penine hills. Only downside was lack of soap and breakfast during the week."
