The hotel is accesible enough to different stores and walking distance to these places: The First Rizal Monument, Daet Capitol and St John de Baptist Church. "

"PROS: Daet has very few good hotels to stay in if you're on a business trip. Most accommodations are either old or backpacker's type. Hotel Formosa is 300 to 500 meters away from malls, restaurants, grocery stores, market, and a hospital. Clean and big room (at least for the Superior Room I stayed in). Has working hot and cold shower. Corteous staff. Safe place. Easy to find, located in the main road. CONS: Has wifi but slow. No options for breakfast. Food is typical (bread, egg, rice, ham). No brewed coffee. Hallway is quite dim. Has cable TV but not much channels. "

"Very enjoyable stay. It's a bit far out of Daet, maybe 10 mins by trike (100 pesos). And yet it is good being so remote. It has a good bar and restaurant with a good variety of flipino food some which can cater for Western tastes (You're in a remote province remember). Fantastic big lagoon style pool with 2 big water slides and 2 easy ones for kids who can swim. Great kid's pool separate from lagoon pool also has a kid's slide. Only there nights. A week there would just about have all the stress out of you're system. No Internet and cell phone signal outside only. But that can be a good thing too! Staff are fabulous. Friendly, helpful, prompt to attend to requests. If you want to escape the rat race, this could be the place."

"I stay in hotels in Daet A LOT so I know about them there. You get hot water wifi inside of the room and it's a new hotel so everything is new and modern. I seen people writing that it takes an hour to get transportation to the town, 100% not true, just wait in front of the hotel and they will stop, never had to wait more than 5 minutes, and easy going back also. It's a great quiet location. Also seen people complaining about little small things, then should get a more expensive hotel then, you should expect a 5 star hotel for like $10 a night. Again best hotel for the price in Daet, You will find other ones around the same place, but they wont have wifi in the room, hot water and will be on the main super loud super busy main road. Will stay again thanks!"

"Pros are 1 new hotel 2 close to markets and fast food and we liked the Andoks chicken across the street. 3 Friendly staff. 4Large rooms Cons. 1 no refridgerator and ice is hard to find reliably as can go all day without ice as the 4 local shops do not stock enough. 2 no elevator. Summary , I would stay again but would bring a larger cooler. "
