"This hotel is in the perfect spot if you want to enjoy the absolutely beautiful scenery of Daisen Mountain and surounding area! It's just steps from the Buddhist Temples and if you go in the Fall like I did you will see the most beautiful leaves that you can possibly imagine! I really enjoyed the hospitality from everyone at this ryokan and the food that they made was amazing! Because this ryokan is run by a Buddhist monk, all of the food they serve is Japanese Zen Buddhist cusine which is made without meat, fish, or animal products. I am normally a meat eater but enjoyed the meals and the presentation so much! "
