Dhaka hotels & accommodations

Radisson is locally known as the best hotel in Dhaka and lives upto its name. we found the staff very helpful and obliging. the rooms were spacious and the amenities adequate for a five star hotel. there are ample facilities and space around the complex that one does not need to leave.

The dust, the construction, the poverty and all the crazy driving can give any traveler pause. To arrive at the Amari is to find your island of sanity in all the madness that is Dhaka. Staff, from front desk, to restaurant and phone are all excellently trained and speak excellent English. They are very helpful and very friendly. The hotel is new and little to nothing t...

Of all our stays in Dhaka, this small but wonderful hotel stole our heart. The service was outstanding and everything was impeccably clean. The bed rivaled the softness and comfort of a luxury hotel and we got the best sleep we have ever had in Bangladesh. Everyone was very accommodating. Look forward to staying again soon.

This Hotel has jst opened 3 months ago and so there is even still some work going on. The Hotel is located jst 10 min away from the Airport which for a City like Dhaka is ver important. Very good Business Hotel with brand new nicley decorated rroms. If the Hotel will not raise the room rates, i can say it is very good vaue for the Money.

My overall stay at Hotel Orchard Suites was nothing less than stellar. From the airport pickup to checkout, I had an amazing experience with Orchard. The hotel staff has amazing team chemistry and are extremely friendly and attentive. They all seem to enjoy working there and the daily "good mornings" and "how's your stay?" goes a long way. The rooms are comfortable and...

During check in, the reception told us to top up USD$10/per person for Wifi. I checked all agoda hotel listing for westin hotel dhaka, WIFI is inclusive. But reception insist we have to pay for wifi and it charged us based on PER PERSON and not per room - very overpriced. Wifi should be a basic neccessity, and it should be available and should always be included - even...

It was a short trip and i just got found of the hotel. The people namely Mr Shakil and Mr Ryan was great. They both did a splendid job. I am in love with there service. They pick me up from airport with there own transport for FREE. They upgraded me to a royal suite where as i didn't book it. The suite are quite big with adequate room utilities and nice furnishes. TV g...

The staff went out of their way to make our visit to Dhaka easier. They helped us to arrange transportation, and made sure we got safe drivers. I was really impressed with the care they took. The room was clean and comfortable, breakfast offered a good variety of above-average buffet food. But again, the staff was just fantastic.

If you visit Dhaka, for me the best hotel in Dhaka. Visit also Chittagong and stayed in Hotel Swuise Garden international. Paid in this hotel even more and was the most bad hotel I ever had. Stinky rooms and even no hot water!! The restaurant was Ok and also the employers. So don't go there.

i found this hotel to be conveniently located, near but not too near the downtown area. this hotel is located in a side street and next to a park. dhaka is a challenge in terms of teeming population, dusty/smokey , strangling traffic. the lake castle was a welcome respite from all the mayhem.

This is my third time staying at hotel sarina. Room is big and comfortable. Blackout happens but I think it is quite common in Dhaka. But always the backup generator kicks in less than 30 seconds so no problem with that. Best part of the hotel is the food options. They have 4 restaurants with plenty of options. Their Elite club serves pretty decent thai food now. Inter...

I was a solo female traveller here for 4 nights. The location was great and the staff excellent. Unfortunately I was very sick the whole time I was in Dhaka so I wasn't able to explore much, however I did spend a lot of time in the comfortable bed watching Netflix and ordering room service. A great place to be Ill !!!

I wasn't sure about this place at first. When I arrived they sent me to a different hotel just next door. They seem to not have my booking. However my misgivings quickly disappeared. The staff are super friendly and very helpful and are perhaps the real highlight of the hotel. The location is perfect if you're visiting Dhaka as a tourist and want to be near the tourist...

The most serious problem in Dhaka is the horrible traffic. There are many good, moderately priced hotels in Gulshan, but there are very far from downtown Dhaka. If you are working in downtown Dhaka and are looking for a moderately priced hotel in the downtown area, the La Vinci is a very good choice. It is not fancy, but the rooms are good/clean, the a/c and hot water ...

I am very pleased to express my fully excellent appreciation for all the so kind services when I have been hosted by Nagar Valley Hotel. With any hesitation, I will recommend it to other overall colleagues and specially those from my technical group to attend it as soon as they will be in Dhaka. Many thanks to Agoda and to the whole sympathetic Nagar staff. My very bes...

I booked without looking at reviews on the web. After i booked and was browsing around and found some very negative comments about this hotel and just regretted about the choice but since i was going to just stay for a couple of days and thought i will brave it thru. Anyway, the hotel was perfectly ok for the 40-50 dollar range. I had previously stayed at the nicer hot...

reception was helpful and efficient, room was clean and comfortable, restaurant service excellent. This is the best hotel in Dhaka that I have found, and meets all the standards for 5 stars. It is quiet well protected by security walls from the throngs of people outside on the streets, and you can enjoy stepping out into the city streets to experience the life of th...

As I have mentioned in previous reviews of this hotel - it is the best value for money if you want a clean, efficient, friendly and well located hotel in Dhaka. The rooms are clean, shower great, bed comfortable. Good ventilation and air conditioning. The breakfast spread is great. All of the designer hotel amenities and services without the frills!

On my return to Dhaka and the Bengal Inn, I found everything I left in the hotel - laundry, luggage case in tact waiting for me in my room. Moreover, everything I mentioned as lacking in their evaluation sheet was implemented - a hot water pot and tea and coffee waiting for me. Once again a great room with fast WiFi and very soft bed to sleep on.

So, I had received an email from the hotel asking me when I would arrive at the airport so they could pick me up, but I couldn't find the driver and ended up walking over the footbridge to cross the main road and then getting a rickshaw (which the hotel paid for). The owner was extremely helpful with the other things I had to do - provided a car to take me back to the...
Cheap places to stay in Dhaka

1. Location : Situated at Dhaka City Centre but its actually quite far from the main attraction like Lalbagh Fort, Dhaka New Markert, Ahsan Manzil, Parliament Building and Bashundhara City Mall (in radius 5km). You have to take trishaw to the main attraction (not really in walking distance). From Dhaka Airport can take intercity train to Kamalapur Station (about 2km fr...

The hotel is located in what the locals say is the safest area in Dhaka - close to the embassies and ambassadors' residences in Gulshan-2. The hotel is new (just over a month old) and the rooms are big, very clean, and comfortable. They also have a generator, which is a very good thing to have in Dhaka where the power supply is erratic. On my second day there, power mu...

Not in the best location, but OK. Shower like a waterfall and plenty of hot water. Air conditioning good. Restaurant good in the evenings, breakfast not brilliant but adequate. I generally had a couple of boiled eggs and toast and marmalade. There were various local dishes available, but mostly spicy, which I love, but not for breakfast!

I have been to over 30 countries...stayed at many many hotels. This was my first time I met a manager came to my room and asked me how satisfied during the check-in procedures. The best was once I mentioned I am not that willing to go out for dinner due to it's already dark outside, he even spent time accompanying with me. We had a very nice talk on the way to the supe...

As this was my first time to Bangladesh, I made arrangements to be picked up from the airport and the guest house owner Chisty was where he said he be, exactly when he said he would be there. He insured each of my needs were met including a very favorable currency exchange rate, securing a sim card for me, and being extremely flexible with my prepaid room when my plans...

Management and staff couldn't of done a better job of making sure i fully enjoyed my stay in Dhaka. Everyone is very friendly and always ready to lend a hand or inform you on places to go and se in Dhaka. A big thank you to the owner Mr Harney and his son Prince who treated me more like a friend than a guest. I would definitely recommend this hotel to travellers of Dha...

Hotel fee in Bangladesh is so high regarding with Bangladesh market. It makes a business man have a few choices. I chosen this hotel considering with a budget. However, this hotel shown more than I expected. Nice room condition, good foods for all kinds of person, friendly staffs.

Arrived late in the morning and they arranged airport pickup for us. There was a little confusion as we had booked the superior suite. On booking website it said there were two bathrooms but actually there was only 1 small bathroom for the two small rooms. Rooms were not spotlessly clean but acceptable for the price. Will stay again for a short trip and staff were most...

Hotel Milina provided me with once-off complimentary return airport transfers. There was no fruit basket upon arrival in the hotel room. There are no signs on how to turn on the hot showers. So I have to bear with cold showers. Breakfast is limited to cornflakes with milk, toast, eggs and one glass of fruit juice, and one optional Bengali dish. It needs to widen the va...

Stayed at Deluxe room. However it was not lake facing and No tea or coffee maker in the room, though the same is indicated while booking room. Good dining room and precise menu. Breakfast menu is With limited dish but good and tasty food. Generator back up works just in time. Opposite to lake so in the evening you can stroll around. Good food and courteous staff.

the hotel is located a bit away from the centre but then again all hotels in dhaka seems to be. the staff is very helpful and take care of most problems you might have. the rooms are small but clean. the breakfast is simple. there is no spa or massage at the hotel as stated at the website.

We chose this hotel as it was near to railway stations we would be arriving at. It is difficult to find so perhaps some signage or instructions on the Agora site would help. The venue was also chosen as it listed a spa/ steam room and extra large beds, a bathtub and 40sq m room. It did not live up to this, \the reason is that this was an apartment block so the extra sp...

the hotel is located in the diplomatic corps area and seems to be in a safe area with security guards at night. it is not situated in city centre but a bit remote. there is no restaurant nearby and have to eat in the hotel one. the room is big but with a little smell.

Spraying the rooms in the evening left them with a pungent smell of mosquito repellent. breakfast was never ready before 7.30am not good enough if you are trying to beat the Dhaka rush hour! As a lone female traveller i would have appreciated at least one female staff member. These were small niggles during a otherwise great 6 night stay, the airport pick up worked wel...

The Way is a small, new hotel in the Gulshan area of Dhaka. If you plan to be in the Gulshan area, the Way is a very good choice. There are not many restaurants in the area of the Way and food there is VERY expensive. Also using hotel transport is VERY expensive -- more than I have seen charged by any hotel in the world! They wanted US$30++ to take me 6 kilometers to m...

Real reviews for hotels
Though crowded, you might like this place for the reason that it is good places to visit, lots of options for shopping and dining.
People are friendly. City is highly polluted. Need to take proper precaution. Traffic is very high. It's recommended to go out during off pick hours.
Though crowded like major Asian cities,Dhaka is a good place to visit. The accommodation is cheap and so are other things like dining and shopping etc.
Crazy traffic, that makes the hole experience.. not too nice. it's difficult to plan more tan 2-3 meetings in one day.
Taxi is hardly find in this country and in the congested time no taxi is operated.Roads is very bad in the city and the air is polluted.
Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh. Located on the Buriganga River in the heart of the Bengal delta, Dhaka has an estimated population of more than 15 million people, making it the largest city in Bangladesh and one of the largest cities in the world.
Quite a daunting place for a first time visiting. Would highly recommend an experienced driver to drive you around.
Dhaka is the central hub for business throughout Bangladesh and is severely overpopulated. Traffic is constant 24 hours a day so be sure to consider a trip of around 2-3km's during peak time to take around 1 hour.
Good place to buy clothes at Dhamoni. Must visit the Fort and man made lake where many people will just hang around in the evenings and nights to admire the beautiful lights.
Dhaka has lots of historical signts that can be visited. However due to their political unrest many days are lost due to strik.
Dhaka really isn't a nice city. I'm sure that there are some beautiful places in Bangladesh, but Dhaka isn't one of them.
It really good place...one can define this city - city of delicious food, there are many classy restaurant and one can find hundred of options.
too much of vehicles ,traffic jam because of that you got to wait for long to reach even a short distance.
Way to many mosquitos, traffic jams, poor people! If you ok with this, then can see some nice buildings and places in Dhaka!
Its good to have a local to show you around. Not many people speak English. It is better if you rent a car with a driver for a day to show you around the city.
It is an experience to see this city. I did not think it was this bad till I got there. The place is smelly, dirty and dusty.
this is not a tourism place, the bad traffice jam make you feel bad. But the people are all good here.
dhaka ibeing the capital of bangldesh is big cit trafic is very irregular ' inspite of double roads there are lot of trafic jams which are very annoyi taxi service is not good one should always take hotel near his place of work/interest
Not a fun place for holiday or leisure. Not easy to travel around using public transport. Roads are always full of dust and vechicles.
Dhaka is a jam city. narrow conjusted and crowded roads.high density of population. no attractive places for sightseeing.
