Traveling to Spain? Find Granada hotels

When you go to a City like Granada you want to be in the thick of it and you cannot get a hotel in a better position than this one, Its on one of the main squares in town with a balcony from which you can view all the action. We even had a big screen Opera concert going on in the square on the Saturday night which we watched from our balcony the best seats in the house. Every thing is in walking distance or there are small buses just out side the hotel if you don't like to much walking. Rooms are spotlessly clean and staff could not be more helpful. Value for money this Hotel is excellent we where not sure what we where going to get before we arrived as it was such a reasonable price we paid but we where delighted with what we got. One word of advice before you go to Granada book your tickets to the Alhambra and more importantly the Alhambra palace on the internet they can be booked up three mounts in advance. we saw the Alhambra area but could not get into the palace.

very comfortable place to stay in Granada. Can walk everywhere from here and with the help of the hotel staff you can plan your whole trip when you arrive. the rooms are very clean and has a feel of a boutique hotel. The shower didn't work the morning we left but they fixed it in no time and before we checked out we had a warm shower. Made me feel like whatever problem they encounter they can fix

We got the bus from Seville to Granada then a local bus to a stop a very short walk to the hotel. The location is perfect for touring the city with a short walk to some attractions or bus stops. There are many local restaurants to choose from. The room was large and well appointed. Noise was a minor problem. The air conditioning worked well so we could keep windows closed. Highly recommended for a stay in Granada

Most enjoyable stay. Love Granada and this hotel is right in the middle of everything. There is a Tapas bar just around the corner from the front door in Calle Cetti Meriem (first bar opposite hotel towards Calle Elvira) which has magnificent Tapas for 2 euros and that includes a glass of beer or wine. We only discovered it on our last night, after eating so-so food previously. The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and the staff are friendly. Literally everything, (except for the main train and bus stations -but even these are an easy bus ride away) is on your doorstep. Loved our stay. Like all hotels in Spain, there were no tea or coffee making facilities outside breakfast. Wish we could have had that. The coffee from cafes and bars was too strong for me. Even just hot water would have been nice.

Fontecruz Hotel really completed our stay in Granada. It was a wonderful hotel. Our room had a balcony that opened to Via Maria which was really nice. The room was comfortable, and a good size compared to other hotels we have stayed at in Europe. The bathroom was huge, clean and nicely lit. It had a bathtub and a standing shower, two sinks. Towels smelled really nice and so did the toiletries. These are little things but it is the small details that make a difference. The bed itself was comfortable. The only problem was that instead of a proper double bed, we had two twin beds joined together. But to us this was a minor issue. The staff at the front desk were pretty helpful when it came to suggesting dining places. When our international adaptor didn't work, they made an effort to find one for us to borrow. One last detail we really appreciated was that we were allowed to check in at 9am in the morning which was greatly appreciated as we had taken an early morning train in from Seville and really needed the room to rest and freshen up. In overall, a really lovely hotel I would recommend. Granada is a beautiful city and you need an equally beautiful hotel to make your stay in Granada complete.

Our first visit to Granada and most definitely not our last. We loved the city and it’s vibrancy. The draw for us was to visit the Alhambra Palace and the Washington Irving hotel is in a prime location , hence our decision to book it. The hotel is a stones throw from the entrance and within walking distance to the city centre. The hotel has a lovely boutique feel about it and the staff are amazing. All their restaurant recommendations were superb. The breakfast was delicious 10/10.m, we couldn’t fault anything and highly recommend this gorgeous hotel. Absolutely loved Granada and OMG the Alhambra is stunning. The hotel organised a tour with our guide Alberto, it was 3hrs long and simply superb. There’s so much history to take in, it’s pretty overwhelming, the 3hrs flew by and our love affair with the Alhambra began.

The staff was wonderful and superbly helpful. Ana emailed me once booking was confirmed to assist me with the check-in and transit from the airport. Anas made check-in process a breeze. He provided us with the information needed to manage our 2 nights stay. He always speaks with a smile and the service seems sincere. The apartment was how I expected it to be (being in Granada). It was decently sized for 2-4. The bed was comfy. The kitchenette was important for us and free coffee was a bliss. The shower had heating - yay!! The common area/balcony at the top has a picturesque view of Alhambra. Just a word of caution: Take a taxi to the apartment if you are with big luggage. There's no lift on the property.

This is one of the most spectacular of the Parador hotels. Definitely worth the premium cost if you're going to see the Alhambra - the hotel is one of the historic buildings that make up the fortress. A beautiful space, small but well appointed rooms, excellent service, very special. Easy to walk down the steep hill into Granada - if you're not up to it, cabs are always waiting near the hotel entrance. I want to go back!

This hotel is gorgeous and is situated in the best location I can think of in Granada - middle of Albycin district, close to the Plaza Nueva, walking distance to Sacromonte and 20min walk to the Alhambra. At the same time it is quiet. The building itself is beautiful and sets the tone for your stay in Granada. The staff are wonderfully helpful and will go above and beyond. Breakfast is available but leaves some things to be desired. There is no parking available anywhere near the hotel. They have a deal for you to leave your car at a parking centre in the city for around £20/day. They will send you very good instructions on how to manage this, but bear in mind the additional cost if you have a car with you.

Sad to leave we loved our stay at the Hesperia Granada Hotel. Our only complaint was that our GPS did not get us anywhere near the hotel, and 1 1/2 hours later we found it. Suggestion is if you are driving into a medieval city and have booked a hotel in the centre, ring the hotel and get directions before you enter the city. Our hotel, once found, was charming, parking provided (but extra cost) and we could leave the car parked during the entire stay by walking or taking a bus.

A clean hotel right on the main square of Granada. This hotel was comfortable and right on the best area in granada for nightlife and eating. This does mean that it gets very noisy at night with the lively student party scene, but the heavy windows did an okay job of keeping this out. The hotel was cheap, and allowed easy access to most of tourist interest in Granada by foot or on the bus from plaza Nueva to the Alhambra (and the taxi was less than 4 euros and 8 euros to the main train station.) Staff spoke some English. Would stay at this excellent value hotel again.

Stayed here for two nights on a five night trip to Andalusia. My boyfriend and I loved it! Great value for money with the included breakfast, which was wonderful - omelette cooked to order and plenty of choice. The location is in the heart of Albacin, only a short 10 minute walk from the centre of Granada. If you have a car, the streets leading up to the hotel are very narrow so be careful - we are thankful we had a small car! We had a 1st floor classic room looking out into the courtyard, it was large and the bathroom was a good size too with a bath. Should we return to Granada, we will definitely stay here again! Also it was my first time booking through agoda and i was slightly nervous but it everything went smoothly.

If you want a place that will enable to be at the heart of Granada yet in a quiet back street, then, this is the place to choose. Being Winter, we couldn't make full use of the delightful courtyard but it provided an excellent setting to start and end each day as we discovered all the Granada has to offer; Alhambra being the highlight as far as we were concerned. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff were very friendly.

The hotel is in an excellent location for exploring Granada and rooms are of a good standard and cleanliness. The breakfasts were disappointing for a 4 star hotel and bar / restaurant staff were less than attentive and lacking the personal touch. Reception Staff were the one exception to this. I've rated a 4 for value for money but this is because we benefitted from an early booking discount. If you want a smart, scrupulously clean hotel with an impersonal 'chain' style this would be an excellent choice but although it was the most luxurious hotel we stayed in during our two weeks holiday in southern Spain it lacked warmth and the personal attention and charm we found elsewhere

The hotel was situated 5 minutes away from Barcelona Sants station, and above a Supermercado, which was great! We enjoyed our stay in the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable overlooked a small park behind it. It was not in the city centre, so we appreciated the peace and quiet at night. Breakfast was not too bad -- had quite a good selection of bread, pastries, cakes and other savoury stuff. Typical continental breakfast with a good selection of desserts!

Hotel located in old town and a bit different to find. I recommend park at hotel and take taxi around as streets are very narrow. Upside is the hotel next to great shopping, restaurants and etc. Downside is hotel next to many restaurants and shopping and it's a bit noisy. You can get great reasonable cost breakfast at hotel cafe in the morning. We really liked it. Hotel stuff is very nice and trying hard to make your stay as good as they can. Building is old but very clean and renovated as much as they could.

We booked this at the last minute, as we were traveling without a concrete plan. Had it not been a last minute booking, we would not have chosen this place, as there are clearly other options that provide a better value. For the price, the amenities were rather disappointing. The rooms were small and dark and a bit dated. I'm not sure why this is considered a 4 star hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful, and there is parking--other than that, it's nothing special.

We were on a leisure trip for 3 nights. Can't say a bad word about the hotel, rooms were quite big and clean, quiet, well ventilated, bathroom large, nice personnel, parking at hotel, buffet breakfast, good access on roads, and good bus connections to Granada center in less than 10min for 1,2e. Surrounded in a suburban neighbourhood, with only very few restaurants or bars (just across the road one, though). One of my most positive hotel experiences.

Been to Sercotel La Lunda Hotel in August 2017 for a short trip in Granada. Hotel looks from inside perfect, parking is NOT NORMAL expensive. They are asking €44,- for three days parking. City is a little 25 minutes walk, would not recommend if you are planning to go more times to the city. Nevada Shopping Centre with the car around 8 minutes and Al Hambra a short 15 minutes trip. Reception also didn't respond on my wish that I had send with my reservation regarding parking and a double bed instead of two separate beds. Miguel from the reception is one of the persons who tried to treat me well as a guest, many thanks there for.
