"Nice hotel, good breakfast. A little walk to the main restaurant zone. The general manager is very kind but some staff at the reception desk should be more proactive."

"This place was one of the highlights of our trip to Nicaragua. We had the whole island to ourselves for 2 nights, including private dinners, massages and a yoga class. The staff are unbelievably lovely and cater to your every need. We had about 20 delicious passion fruit mojitos, went net fishing and had fresh ceviche from the fish we caught! The bedroom was designed beautifully too. Couldn’t recommend this place more - only 15 mins from busy Granada, a must do if you have time!!"

"The best position in town facing the cathedral and main square. The staff are charming and helpful with good contacts for boat trips and taxis. This is a really nice place to stay. It's a colonial building with rooms arranged around an internal courtyard. Ask for the upper floor or if downstairs avoid the rooms that back onto the street, and get the rooms with a small patio. There are a few rooms with their own large terrace facing the main square. Air con works well, shower is hot, cleanliness excellent. Bedlinen perfectly clean but not ironed to 5 star standards. Buffet breakfast ok but tired. head to the Garden Cafe in town for a proper coffee and crispy bacon."
