Perfect example of profiteering ,the grand national weekend ,all that was left so we were told was a family room so we booked that at £150 b&b we got there and the room was very small so mentioned that we had paid for a family room ,2 hours later we were informed that they would be reducing the price by £60 fair enough ,breakfast abysmal cold toast and mushrooms

Some of the rooms in the hotel seem to have been recently redecorated and some have a view over the Wirral peninsula. I paid for three double rooms. On arriving we found two of theses were large in size with a huge bed. The third room however was somewhat smaller with only a standard double bed even though I paid the same price for each room. For the money that we pay I think its very good! Staff are friendly and accomodated. Breakfast is great! The dinner that we had in their resro is descent. We will come back again. Highly recommended.
