Find Hotels in Hachioji, Japan

Hotel Nikko is one of the best hotel we stay in Japan. The room is so new and modern for Japanese hotel standard. Check in at 2pm, which is so much earlier than normal hotel in Japan . Check out at 11am. The area do have not much beside the Mega Donki, which is great for shopping with tax refund ! Near Mega Donki is alot of restaurant and Cafe, perfect for a afternoon shopping. A bit of a walk to the station but if you don t mind walking, it is not a problem. The staff speak good English and always ready to help. Overall , a very comfortable stay and we surely be back again.

It is very near to limosine bus which is very convinient for me! When you get there the limo bus drop you like about 2 minutes away but the pick up to the airport is just across the hotel. The place is lively, lots of convinient stores and theres a donut cafe right beside the hotel. The staffs were really helpful eventhough their English might be a little limited but they try~ The bed and the pillows are so comfy! I'm picky when it comes to pillows but it is so comfy i get to have a good rest every night~ It's like 1minute away from keio hachioji line and about 5 minutes away from hachioji jr line. I love staying there~ Would stay there again if i had an event i need to attend around the area next visit

Location - As you get outside of Hachioji station, you can see the hotel on your right. It was just a couple of minutes walk from the exit of the station. Room - Clean, spacious, water pressure is awesome (took only couple minutes to fill the bathtub full) Staff - Beautiful, friendly receptionists Convenience - There is a shopping center adjoined to Hachioji station, and plenty of cheap eateries that stay open late. Breakfast - A good selection buffet.

The location was great being within a short walking distance from the train station, various department stores, restaurants, convenience stores, and the Showa Park that used to be a US Air Force Base. Also nice to have a walkway above the roads that connected the hotel to some major department stores and the rail stations (both monorail and regular train). The staff were nice and attentive, rooms clean and spacious (standard size rooms and not the tiny business hotel rooms). Upon checking in, they originally showed us to a smoking floor. When I told them I had requested non-smoking they promptly changed our room but they also said sometimes they fail to receive special requests when the rooms are booked online so best to contact the hotel directly if there are any special requests that need to be met. Also, even on a non-smoking floor our room had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. I usually take a home made spray made with essential oils whenever I travel so it wasn't an issue after a few spritz around the room but in Japan there are still many smokers so I would suggest carrying some sort of room spray. Breakfast buffet that was included in our booking was decent. Not very extensive but adequate selections and tasted good. I would definitely stay here again if I have to stay in the Tachikawa area.

For the price I paid, I must say that apart from the distance of the hotel to tokyo city itself, and all main attractions it was pretty much the complete package for a budget hotel. I stayed in a double bedroom. Extremely small but snug and had everything you needed. Only thing that was missing was the need for 'no disturb' signs as they tend to ring you if you are still sleeping instead of you being able to just leave a sign. My room was a smoking room, however I don't smoke. Problem being, whoever stayed previously before me were obviously smokers as each time I entered the room, it smelled of cigarette smoke . I reckon it was the smell trapped in the curtains and whatever else was in the room and the air con itself . Apart from that, couldn't fault the place. 24 hr staff who are always working hard and smiling. Happy to help whenever needed and breakfast is a typical Japanese buffet breakfast. I wasn't the biggest fan, only because I'm too familiar with a western breakfast however , as a Buffett you can't complain. Even have your own laundry service which most hotels don't have . You can wash your clothes yourself and it's cheap! Vending machines indoors if your peckish or a 24hr mini mart literally across the road alongside a macdonalds and a massive supermarket for other big foods if you wish :) Thank you toyoko inn. While the location is great, the hotel is somewhat outdated. Pros It is by the station. Also across from the shopping mall. Close to the tennis center as well. Relatively quiet location. Not too many tourists - guessing as I didn’t hear kids running around middle of the night. Breakfast is included and sufficient. You can choose different types of pillows and amenities at the lobby. Bed is farmer than the most. Cons with old fashion big key to a room, common use slippers (are they disinfected after each use?). Bathroom smelled mildew. Internet was slow. If you need to transfer big data, it could be challenging using the wifi. If you prefer softer bed, you might not like this one. BF is available only from 6:45. If you are in a hurry, you are out of luck. Most foods are ready-made out of package type. Overall it is a good economical hotel for business trips. No frills, nothing fancy but gives you a place to stay with what you’d need.

The staff at the reception were the least welcoming relative to all hotels visited in Japan. But the rooms were clean. Well kempt. Indian restaurant at a 5 minute distance. Akigawa station is a 2 minute walk. Daiso for 100yen shopping is a 7 minute walk. Bus stop n taxi station right at the main entrance of the hotel. Other Japanese hotels near by too. Ideal for people with day plans in Tokyo. Shinjuku station is a half an hour ride by the rapid, change at Haijima. Not suitable if you wish to enjoy night life in Tokyo as the last train from Shinjuku to Akigawa is at 11:18 pm.

Its a classic Japanese love hotel designed for max privacy so you can get your game on. Its a bit awkward if you are trying to use it as a normal hotel. The good: 1. Great air conditioning 2. TV for the bathtub 3. Lots of privacy 4. Plenty of free Japanese pr0n The bad: 1. Room smelled like smoke, towels are wrapped in plastic to keep the smell out presumably. 2. Little to no natural light. 3. Room layout isn't really accommodating for large luggage. 4. Pretty sure the price advertised on the outside is a good bit cheaper than what I booked it for. The ugly: 1. Location is kind of horrible 2. You don't get a room key and YOU ARE LOCKED INTO YOUR ROOM; you must coordinate with the front to both enter and exit the room. 3. Talking with the front desk is done via a one-way mirror with a slot in it. It feels like a crappy convenience store on the shady side of town 4. If you bring back a guest who wasn't originally registered to the room you must pay an additional 5000 yen
