"It was our very first time visiting Vietnam and we decided that Hanoi should be the first city where we should experience. We landed into a warm, summer country with traffic conditions that seemed to be a challenge. As we did not arrange for airport transfer to the hotel, Grab was our saviour. Using Grab in Vietnam was a piece of cake. When we reached our Hotel, La Siesta Premium, I really didn't know what it expect. Immediately 2 staffs came to open the car doors and helped us with our luggage to the lobby. "Sin Chow"! were the first Vietnamese words I heard from the staffs, in fact, by all of them who were at the lobby. Amazed and overwhelmed, I didn't know what it meant, not to mention how to reply. Everyone was so smiley and friendly. Never I had this sort of welcoming experience at any hotel in any part of the world that I travelled to. We were warmly greeted by Quan, who confirmed our bookings and showed us to our room thereafter. Knowing that it was our first time in Hanoi, Quan provided us tips of the area and gave us recommendations of the "must try" delicacies. Provided us a map and explained to us clearly of our location and attractions to visit. The rooms were very well decorated and each room felt very clean. Beds were very comfortable with great taste of furniture selections. You realised that the housekeepers paid great attention to details when you see the way the towels and curtains were folded. Endless movies selection from NetFlix and youtube. We booked a one night deluxe on Friday and checked out the following day for Ha long bay tour. We had a separate booking of 4 days 3 night Grand Duplex suites after the cruise when we came back on Sunday. The staffs were incredible. Kudos to Mr Quan and his team members. We were greeted with smiles every day by almost every staff when we walked by. Everyone was very helpful whenever we had doubts about the city. They put in their best to meet our request with late check out and even provi"

"Both the facilities and room in this hotel are excellent, clean, and a great value. The location is perfect in the heart of Old Hanoi. But it truly is the people who work here, who make it the best hotel in Hanoi. They are incredibly helpful, genuine, kind, and work extremely hard to make each visit special. In particular, Kate is an absolute star and has gone above and beyond in her duties from check in to departure to make our trip simply outstanding. When we return to Hanoi, we will be staying here again - highly recommended to all travelers. "

"The Hanoi Club Hotel is located in the North of Hanoi in reasonable distance between the airport and downtown. The room was excellent, great designed, best features the king size bed and the spacy luxory bathroom. also well, wide screen TV, WiFi, AC. The staff is very friendly, competent and supportive. Every question answered satisfctionally. The breakfast is good to excellent, the room and breakfast staff excellent. The location invites you to real Vietnames urban life, walking at the West Lake, great restaurants and sightseeing points in walking distance. The price is very reasonable for the service you get. also a very nice pool with lake view, a good gym and spa available. The service there incl. towels is also excellent. No comments or prejudices for us as mixed couples Vietnamese/German which we faced in other locations. Yes we will come again!"

"Everything is excellent here. Grand Cititel Hanoi Hotel is located within Old Quarter area, convenience store (Circle K) is just at corner of the street & about 10-15 mins walk to Hoan Kiem Lake. Hotel staffs are all friendly & helpful especially the female receptionist who checked me in. Appreciate for the complimentary cocktails they offered to celebrate anniversary with my boyfriend. My room is situated at level 8 (considered high floor in this hotel), not very nice view but very clean, provided with every amenities I need & the bed is really comfortable to rest on. International buffet served for complimentary breakfast, including of salad, fruit, sweet yogurt, bun, ham, cheese, porridge with condiments, rice with dishes, egg station & pho noodle station. Only 3 star for their facilities due to there’s no swimming pool, gym & spa in the hotel. The only unpleasant part is housekeeping attendant ring my door early at 8am on the 4th day just to ask if I need laundry service. "

"This hotel is right next to the church and so close to Hoan Kiem Lake as well. Staffs are nice, friendly and helpful. The unpleasant thing would be the bathtub in my room. It was too slippery and dangerous if you are not careful enough when stepping out of it. Also, comparing to all the other 4-star hotels I have stayed before, Anatole somehow has a higher price. I may stay again in the next trip to Hanoi because of its location but might be also look for another hotel which has a better price."

"I have totally 3 nights at the Hanoian Elite Home Hotel .Location: the hotel is easy to find and is in the central part of old town within easy walking distance of the old town sights and restaurants. The hotel: just opened 6 month ago. After a busy day in Hanoi the hotel is a haven of calm. My room was on an upper floor and had an excellent view of Hanoi. The room itself was spotlessly clean with all the amenities you would expect in an international standard hotel.Staff & service: I found the staff to be exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful as well as extremely competent and had excellent English language skills. I don't know how the hotel staff. Breakfast: the breakfast area is on the second floor, Asian style foods and western style breakfast a la carte (breakfast are included with my reservation). In summation: if you are looking for a old town Hanoi hotel you simply must try Hanoian. I wish I could have more chance to stay as they said they have 2 others property. "

"I'm not a lover of big, impersonal hotels, so it was with some initial trepidation that I booked this hotel for my second visit to this fascinating city. I'm happy to say my fears proved unfounded with all expectations clearly exceeded. The hotel is really centrally located, close to the Old Quarter and really near to the fantastic Hang Gai shopping street...if you're looking for unusual, beautifully crafted souvenirs and handicrafts you can't go far wrong here! Although there's a lot or rooms in the hotel, it never really feels like you're staying in a big hotel, with clever design and personal-feeling touches spread throughout. As a lover of the Contemporary-Vietnamese-Colonial design, this is really inspirational and luxurious. Rooms themselves are well-appointed and cared for. I'm not sure the clear window between the room and bathroom will be to everyone's tastes, but my partner had a lot of fun with the remote while I was trying to shower! We didn't try the breakfast option, but other guests we met during our stay spoke highly of it. Staff are friendly, without being overbearingly so, and always on hand to help with recommendations, book taxi's and generally be as helpful as possible. Whether you're starting or ending your travels in Hanoi, this is one of the best places to stay, relax and enjoy this beautiful city."
