This would be the perfect place to stay on Loch Ness, but sadly the experience is greatly diminished by the unhelpful and money hungry ways of the owner. I would stay again, the owners M & L were warm and welcoming, and I spent the better part of the afternoon and early evening in chatting away in their lounge room. My room was lovely and comfortable and location wise, it is easy to find not far from the bus stop, up behind the local pub. Highly recommended.

Although close to the lake, can't see it from the cottage and quite hard to walk to the lake side on foot. The boiler in the bathroom is so noisy when turned on that I won't be surprised if it explodes suddenly.

Heather & Robert are very friendly. They run this place with love and passion. Spotless clean, large and comfy bed, hearty brekkie. Love their home made short bread and scones! It’s a good place to stay if you do not want to stay at Inverness and your next day route is the Skye.
