Every single member of staff was wonderfully attentive, the food we had at the restaurant was delicious, as was the breakfast served in the morning. Wide choice and everything perfectly cooked. The hotel and the grounds are stunning, and the rooms are tastefully decorated with modern conveniences like wifi are available throughout. Staying at this hotel is a real experience, and great value for money. It's a little further from Jaisalmer than we realised when we booked, but the city fort is easily reached by car. We're very glad we stayed here. Highly recommend and would definitely come back.

Considering it was our first visit to Jaisalmer, I didn't know what to expect. Initially while making the booking, I was a bit skeptical because the place seemed a little expensive. But this place surprised me. I think it was completely worth it. The tents were clean and nice and on reaching they welcomed us with music and welcome drinks. Camel safari was included in the package. And when we got back from the camel safari, they had the entire night programme planned with folk singers and dancers. The food served was typically Rajasthani and very tasty. Way better than our expectations. I am extremely satisfied with this place and would definitely visit again. :)

The hotel is the best hotel I have been in India and probably ever!!! It might not be 5 stars but the staff there are FANTASTIC. Always caring for you and asking if we needed anything. The food was superb and Ali (staff) was excellent when serving us. Peter or Pedro is another member that served us very well. He had worked in the Dominican republic for 11 yrs so he spoke to us in spanish!! Best staff ever, beautiful room viewing Jaisalmer fort...Jaisalmer is magical but if you stay in this hotel it makes it even more magical!!Best HOTEL in INDIA...no kidding!!!

"You are now in the palace, so stay like a prince", this is what the host told me when I check-in. And I do have a comfortable stay in Mandir Palace. Jaisalmer is a small city, so location is not a big concern. Although here is a palace, but everything is well renovated and maintained. Shower here is great, hot water running fast even late night. TV with lot of channels available. Internet here is fast and secure, as they will have a new WiFi password for every new customers. However, their breakfast is not great, but good enough for your basic needs. And they have a mini museum inside the hotel, you can visit for free when you stay here. The museum mainly show case of private collections. Although it's interesting, but not worth pay to visit.

This place is like an oasis in the desert. This hotel is no doubt to be one of the best budget hotels in Jaisalmer. Ideally located, the hotel is just 5-10 min walk from the bus stand and the Jaisalmer Fort. Upon arrival, we were given a free upgrade - deluxe room with balcony. Quite impressed with that, we were in for a surprise when we entered the room. The room was big with a queen size bed and a diwan. The bathroom was clean and spacious. Sleep quality was awesome and so was the Air Conditioner. No bathroom amenities other than a soap. The shower pressure was OK. The swimming pool was nice and it was our savior to beat the heat. We also tried the food in the roof top restaurant - it was not bad at all. Few items were delicious esp Parantas and the Panner butter masala. The staffs are quite friendly and helpful. Yeah, they do have Desert Safaris also. Overall, this place is a definite value for money! Thumb Up!

If you're visiting jaisalmer then you should definitely consider hotel lalgarh fort and and palace. I stayed here for couple of days(12-13 Jan 2019 and i was pleasantly surprised. This place has a great ambience.The place looks even better than what you see on the websites. The rooms were beautifully decorated and well maintained .The in house restaurant serves delicious food too. Also I would recommend to take the desert tour package offered at the hotel than the ones offered outside. the tour/experience provided by the hotel was very exclusive , the location was privately owned so there were very few people around. Great exp overall. However the best aspect of this place is the service. the staff is really helpful and polite . The owner Mr. Narendra was really nice and asked us often if our stay was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place. You get much more in return than what you pay. Thank you Jayesh Kumar

I cannot say enough good things about my stay at the Hotel Victoria. From the moment I arrived everyone went out of their way to help me with all my traveling needs. Sushil and the owner, Pankaj, were outstanding. Sushil made himself available at every hour of the day, and was completely professional and good hearted. Also, the hotel is an amazing hotel, right inside the fort, with wonderful views of Jaisalmer. The hotel is a perfect example of the haveli style of construction. Each room has its own special character. Also the food was excellent - I had breakfast and lunch there. I was very happy to switch from another hotel to Hotel Victoria - if I had stayed in the other hotel my time in Jaisalmer would not have been half as nice, or memorable!

I did a crazy research before booking this... when u reached there, it's just impressed me in all the way .. Rooms/Tent: one of the best I ever experienced in my life. Cleanness at it's best with a Royal feel. Hospitality : Superb, you will feel it. Staff: amazing and very cooperative staffs.. Cultural prog: just superb and the last, the location it's just 50 meter from the Sand dunes...just walk and enjoy the sunset And sunrise... very peaceful place and it's the only camp site in that location...

Our stay at Mystic Jaisalmer Hotel was best possible. Staff at hotel are ultra friendly and nice there is always some nice things happening. They provide pick up and drop off at train or bus station so you are not wandering around or arranging transport on your own. Rooms are very comfortable with all necesitties you need. Bottled water free of charge so you shouldnt get thirsty. Strongly reccomend this fortress of hospitality and happiness to all travelers! Thank you all and specially to Ashraf! This is a positive review....but you need to be specific with which room you chose to stay in. I strongly recommend you do not stay in the new wing which is all of the Royal Chambers, they don't have as much character as the deluxe rooms and it feels motel like....only pro is that they have tv's in the bathrooms but then again I don't know anybody that watched tv in the bathroom. It is not worth the money. We asked to look around at the hotel rooms and we were taken on a tour. The Royal Suite is very spacious with two bathrooms and entrance area and a sitting area but the balcony is shared with two deluxe rooms and over looks the road. The Tower Suites were also nice, more spacious than the deluxe but also looked over the street. The room we stayed in was and is the best room in the hotel. It is a deluxe and I would hands down pick it over any other room including the suites. It has two big sets of windows that over look the pool and the garden area. The decor is character filled with red upholstery giving it a very royal appearance. The bathroom is not brand new but has modern fittings and an endless supply of hot water! The service at the Hotel is great! And the food is very delicious! And not overly expensive for a hotel of that quality.

I have only praises for this hotel. Staff, management. in particular Ali and his brother were polite, respectful & ever helpful. I wish other hotels in the state (we travelled in Rajasthan extensively) could learn lessons on customer service & looking after guests from the brothers. They took such good care of us and our elderly parents who were travelling with us. Ali took the time during meals to speak to all the guests and enquire about their well-being. As soon as we pointed out our parents' difficulties in climbing stairs to the 2nd floor, a room was made available on the first. Food quality was excellent and the hotel and its rooms BEAUTIFULLY built. We still dream of our stay in Helsinki house, now almost a month after our trip. All things remaining the same, I would heartily recommend this hotel to all those who wish to travel to Jaisalmer. Location that is slightly away from the town, deteriorating approach roads & absence of lifts are the only improvement areas I can mention.

very nice looking hotel near to jaisalmer fort. their is also nice restaurant in roop with various menu. owner and staffs are very kind and try to help me. i book safari tour and train ticket in here, and it was very satisfied. around hotel, there are nice veg, nonveg local restaurants. they will recommand some places. overall, it was very nice value. even if you are backpacker or rich tourist, they will suggest nice options for you. i think here is best hotel in Jaisalmer and i will stay here when i come again. highly recommand.

Nachana Haveli is one of the best places to stay when in Jaisalmer. It is located inside the citadel complex (but not inside the fort premises), provides a brilliant illuminated view of the golden fortress from the terrace, creates a rustic yet unique ambiance and offers brilliant food. We stayed at the suite located on the terrace, which had a sitting area and a bedroom; the bathroom was very spacious and the over all 'red' theme in the room creates an extremely unique surrounding. The hotel offers excellent food; one must definitely try Lal Maas and the Jungli Chicken that they prepare. Good breakfast spread too. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful and so was the hotel management. Highly recommended for a stay.

Thanks for making my trip so memorable. The owner of the property lives there and has given so much attention to details. staff is very friendly and warm. I was staying with my son. That night only few rooms were booked. Yet no compromise was done on the services.They have exclusive sand dunes. The driver Bikul signh was very helpful in taking us for Quad biking which was a last minute plan. Because of Damodara reference we got special offers and treatment at the Quad biking. They accommodated my request when we spent extra time on the dunes. The food is very very good. Specially prepared for your request. The cultural performances is the best I experienced in all of Jaisalmer. Everything is so perfectly handpicked. There are aroma therapy shampoo, hand-wash etc. They have build a special place for star gazing and we can sleep there too. We were up till 5am. There are peacocks everywhere and they come so close to the room. Good job guys. Keep up the good work. Blessings!!!

The Gulaal - is an excellent place to stay in Jaisalmer. It's built like a haveli and the rooms are very spacious. You feel welcomed. We were upgraded to a suite on arrival. The breakfast was included in our room tariff and is a la carte - the chhole bhature are extremely good. The best part about this is that everything is prepared fresh and to our specifications. The hotel service is very efficient and responsive. Gulaal has a beautiful view of the Jaisalmer fort and the view from here at night is captivating. The hotel provides Kama toiletries. The property is well known in Jaisalmer and walking distance from the fort. This is the place to stay in Jaisalmer and we would recommend this place to our family and friends.

The hotel is named as Shahi Palace which means Royal, and that is the exact treatment that these people provide you.. 1. The first thing is location. The hotel is situated in the mail city with a 2 min walk from bus stand stand 5 min from railway station. However, they provide you free pick up. The hotel is situated exactly in front of jaisalamer fort. The view from the hotel is mesmerising , I mean you can see the complete fort from the top. Each and every location like Jaisalmer fort, Patwon ki Haveli and gadisar lake is at walkable distance from the hotel. 2. The second thing is rooms and hotel itself. The rooms are quite big and very colourful. The rooms are both air conditioned and clean. The view from the windows is breathtaking . At fist I couldnt believe when I was able to see the Complete Jaisalmer fort from the window. The lobby's are nice big and clean. 3. The hotel restaurant. There are few words available to describe the view from roof top restaurant. It is amazingly spaciously, lit with yellow lights and OMG, the view is like killing. You can take amazing pics from this point. The food is very good. More importantly you will be able to get all sort of continental dishes. 4. Tours and packages provided The hotel provides one stop solution to your visit to jaisalmer. Whether that's city visit or the main attraction that is Sand safari/desert safari. They provide you vehicle to move around in city. Most importantly the provide you desert safari in which they take you from the hotel at 3PM along with driver, camel provider. They take you to sand dunes amidst the desert. The provide you mattress and food as well. The thing that strikes you is you sleep on a mattress in the desert under the stars.. Kind of sounds like " INTO THE WILD" movie.. U will understand the feeling if you have seen the movie and appreciate it. Do not miss this. Strongly advisable. 5. Hotel staff - Their behavior

Stayed for only one night, after our flight from Delhi to Jaisalmer was cancelled by Spicejet at the last minute. The airport opened for commercial flights just a week or two ago, so that wasn't a good sign. But the Marriott Jaisalmer is an exceptional hotel. Admittedly, the hotel did not seem anywhere near full, but the personal attention given by staff was (almost) overwhelming. I stay in many hotels for business and pleasure, and their service was second to none in some 40 years of travel..

Hotel Garh is the best hotel we stayed during our trip. 1. Clean and comfortable room with nice decoration. Bed sheet is clean, tower is clean, with good quality shampoo and shower gel. Especially the bath room is very clean, always have hot water and the window is facing nice view. Inside the decoration is so beautiful and details, feeling like in the palace chamber. 2. Location. Hotel is located at the edge of the fort, it has awesome roof terrace. Fort, city, desert, train station, lake, almost everything, panorama view. I can say this is the best view of the fort. From the hotel to bazaar only take few minutes walk. 3. Friendly and helpful staff. No matter the manager or the chef, everyone is very friendly and helpful. For example, we asked for help us posting our postcard, late check out and so on. The manager Chouhan is so considerable, after knowing we will take 18 hours train to Delhi, he asked the chef to prepare some japatis for us, which is really nice and helpful later. Not sure if we get chance to come back, but if we back Jaisalmer, definitely we will stay this hotel again. Thank you Hotel Garh, thank you Chouhan! Stayed January 2014, travelled with friends

First of all, as name suggests, "Dunes desert safari and camps", There is no such camp. Google took us to address and Two guys came to us and showed us tents ( In pathetic state) and told you came to write place and we have your reservation. But this was not the place which we saw on Internet. We refused and spoke with manager and he told that you have to stay at that location only. After lot of heated discussion, they showed the place which we saw on Internet. Anyway, It was very cold in night, we got two tents and two blankets ( Double bed side). It was no way possible that we could have survived that night. We were in kind of begging mode to arrange blankets and finally arranged after lots of effort. Food was prepared in Kitchen, where Guys were drunk, smoking and in very bad state. No management, Never felt safe for a minute, Pathetic food .. DON'T GO .. PATHETIC camp .. Not sure how Agoda is even having them in option , when there is no "Dunes desert safari and camps" ..

I travel a lot and have stayed at a variety of hotels ranging from 2 stars to 5 stars and, take my word, this hotel provides you with the best in class service. The staff is extremely courteous and professional. They really set a high standard. I had a feeling of staying with my family. The hotel is centrally located yet tucked away from the hustle and bustle of this vibrant city. Sonar Haveli is tastefully designed and rooms are extremely well kept and maintained. The food is very tasty and authentic. They really go out of their way to make you feel comfortable and happy. I left Sonaar Haveli with a lot of happy memories which I will cherish for a long time to come. I hope you get to stay there soon.
