"It was by far the best hotel we've came across since travel to Japan and the affordable one to be considered. This trip we have stayed in couple of places including some home stay but this hotel is the most comfortable. We even stay at a Ryokan in Hakone but seriously Dormy is the best. Will definitely stay again if i ever return to Kurashiki."

"The location couldn't be more convenient to the station, which is perfect for late night arrivals and early morning departures. Just a 15 min walk to the amazing Kurashiki Bikan sightseeing area – we had a really amazing time here. Staff were nice and spoke some English. The reception is on the 9th floor. Comfortable rooms – we got upgraded to the Double Room for 4 nights after booking the Semi-Double so that was really nice! The interior is vintage style which suits the location and history of the town :) Not the fanciest hotel you'll stay in, but it's clean, warm and convenient. "

"This Hotel is on the main street and it's about a 5 min walk from JR Kurashiki Station. It can be a little tricky finding the lobby. There are instructions that tell you it's on the 5th floor of the Hotel's building but it's written in Japanese. The Hotel is fairly close to the Bikan Historic Area. It will take 10-15 min along the main road or the shopping street. I was satisfied with my room - it was clean, tidy and comfortable. "
