Traveling to Japan? Find Kurashiki hotels

This hotel is close to the station. We had stayed 3 nights here and enjoy the hot spring. The room we had is deluxe twin bed with terrace, but it was too cold at year end period, so we only went out in the morning before going out. It was by far the best hotel we've came across since travel to Japan and the affordable one to be considered. This trip we have stayed in couple of places including some home stay but this hotel is the most comfortable. We even stay at a Ryokan in Hakone but seriously Dormy is the best. Will definitely stay again if i ever return to Kurashiki.

The location was convenient to both the Kurashiki station and the canal district. The room was not large, but adequate. Beds and pillows were great! Did not try the breakfast buffet, but seemed a little pricey at 1350 Yen per person.

We had a very comfortable stay in Cuore, which happened to be located in the "cuore (center)" of Kurashiki Biken Area. This Hotel is on the main street and it's about a 5 min walk from JR Kurashiki Station. It can be a little tricky finding the lobby. There are instructions that tell you it's on the 5th floor of the Hotel's building but it's written in Japanese. The Hotel is fairly close to the Bikan Historic Area. A standard Japanese business hotel. Cheap, comfortable, and clean. It is perfectly satisfactory for a night if you're in town. All amenities are provided, air conditioner is strong, and the bed is comfortable. I would stay here again.

Tsuragata is a delightful Ryokan in an old building in the Bikan quarter of Kurashiki. We had a very comfortable room with a private garden and bathroom. The service was outstanding and our meals were among the best we had during our stay in Japan.

We had a situation late at night and help from Japanese was important. The staff was not fluent in English but still tried to communicate with us through Google Translate. I am thankful for their hospitality. Also, the room was simple and clean! I am comfortable and happy with my stay.

It's located near Washuzan observation deck which is a famous spot for seeing sunrise. Facilities are a little bit old, but services are the best. BTW, fridge and air conditioner are really annoying so that I had to turn off the AC and plug off the fridge.

The hotel provides free parking, and it is located within walking distance to eating places, malls, and train station... convenient. Simple breakfast.

It's one of the best hotel I've ever stayed. The room is well equipped with all kinds of things travelers would need, both for female and male. The lighting and layout of the room is very relaxing like home. The reception service is thoughtful and professional.

Even though we are not Japanese, you do not feel the discrimination and difference in their service and hospitality towards us. Thank you for making the stay a extremely pleasant one.

The rooms and the (japanese) breakfast were great. The owner and his wife were very polite and helpful. The bath was excellent, make sure you take one. The Location is a little of the track, so except you're travelling by car, be aware that it takes 30+ minutes from Okayama to get to the ryokan.

The guest house is run by a couple, they are really nice and helpful. They not only helped me plan the trip and printed several transport timetables for okayami city and naoshima island, but also introduced traditional local food and delicious restaurants in Kurashiki.
