Traveling to New Zealand? Find Lake Tekapo hotels

i was impressed by the hotel services and its boutique design. the lake view offers additional satisfaction for the price paid. its definitely a 5-star hotel and i do believe it will be among the top hotels in lake tekapo if it isn't one now.

At Lake Tekapo where everything costs so much, this 2 bedroom cabin was a very good find. Our room was spacious and complete with the necessary amenities. It’s located right at the center of the town & all the eateries and supermarket were at walking distance. Might overshot the place but driving in New Zealand town is within 30-50 so can find it with ease. They do have rice cooker and all the appliances plus cutleries. I went to lake tekapo to view beautiful thousands of stars other than lake Tekapo itself. This hotel is quite close to Church of the Good Shepherd by walk within 5 minutes. I had the best stay ever. The apartment was modern, spacious, and most importantly, warm! We could see the night sky on the bed from the window, kitchen and bathroom amenities complete. Three Rivers Lodge is in a quiet location slightly out of town. Our room was well-appointed and very comfortable with lovely views over Lake Tekapo. This was a terrific, relatively new house. Having stayed at other places in town before, this was a much, much better option. Great views, easy to check in/out, and very comfortable. I'd highly recommend this over local hotel/motels, particularly if you're with a larger group. I was solo and still thought it was great though.

What a cool pad. Very nicely decorated and perfectly clean and cosy. The accommodation was beautifully presented with quality bedding and a well equipped kitchen. Included dishwasher, dryer, and even a tv at the end of each bunk. Lovely views and so peaceful. Thanks for having us.

The house is big and new and has a lovely view, but unfortunately it’s not too clean for a new house like this. The oven plates are sticky and dirty and my family got bitten by fleas or something in 2 different bedrooms.

Had a wonderful stay here at Majestic View. Location online is misleading as the address stated is actually the administrative office. Have to drive up further higher to reach the house. Location is very near tekapo center. The house is very clean and well equipped. My 2 young boys enjoy feeding the farm animal.

Amazing place with nice touches such as the heated floor in the toilet, smart TV system. Great shared laundry facility as well. We loved this place in the cold autumn nights and it was close to everything you need (food, supermarket), which was just down the hill. The area was nice and quiet ,and provided and a great morning view of Lake Tekapo!

I like the design of the house. There are 3 bedrooms, comfortable and clean. The facilities are good, washing machine, rice cooker, hair dryer, wifi etc provided. Excellent starry sky at night. Near Shepherd church, 3 minutes drive. The staff is friendly.

The Black House was at a good location and very clean. Nice design with homely layout.

Micheal was so kind if you have any problem in Tekapo,he will have you. The property is so clean and the view is awesome, at night you will see the whole star sky<~>

Remember to check in at office (close to supermarket) first. 15 mins walk from main street to apartment, could see beautiful star at night.

Pros: Spectacular view Lots of space in the house Nice fireplace Bbq No real negative for this house except that it would have been nice to have basic salt/pepper and oil etc.
