Best hotels & accommodations in Lancaster

I stayed at this hotel as I was visiting Lancaster University for a conference. The hotel is only a short walk from the train station which was ideal, even in the rain! There hotel is close to the local bars and restaurants of the town centre. The hotel has a bar which served 3 different draft beers as well as bottled beer, wine and spirits. The staff were incredibly f...

We had a great stay, we chose this location as it is close to Lancaster, within easy reach of the south lakes and Yorkshire. We had a slight problem with noise from an aerobics class in a rented out gym below our room, staff were very apologetic, also the toilet flush broke, so they upgraded us to a better room for the rest of our stay. Ordered room service on the last...

Staff in the restaurant and bar were very good indeed, and the food and drink was excellent. The only drawback was a bit of noise on the Saturday night from the square below - we had to have the windows open as it was hot but you can have them closed.

My husband and I stayed for one night at this lovely Guest house. We were met with a friendly welcome and took to our room (6) which overlooked the town hall at the back of the guest house. Fresh towels and little personal touches were in the room. Breakfast was they best we have ever experienced! The owners were very pleasant and friendly and made us feel at home. We ...

Great clean well-equipped rooms with a good strong shower and bath if you want one (not all our rooms had baths though). TV wasn't working when we were there but we weren't bothered. WiFi signal is really only in the ground floor dining and reception which wasn't convenient for our foreign travellers. Overall though we felt like we had a fantastic stay in Lancaster...

We had a great stay in Lancaster at this hotel. We booked the suite which was very large and comfortable and for a special break, this room does the trick. Location is great with a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby to enjoy the evening followed by a lovely cooked breakfast in the morning.

We enjoyed our stay at this little hotel in the middle of Lancaster. The staff members were helpful and nice and made us feel at home. The restaurant in the hotel had great food, particularly the tapas. We in fact ate our dinner there throughout our 3 day stay. Would definitely stay there again if I return to Lancaster.

The Wagon & Horses has wonderful staff who are so helpful. Even if you arrive early nothing is to difficult for them. The food is great and the individually cooked breakfast really sets you up for the day ahead. Highly recommended. Many thanks to everyone for a making our stay wonderful and hassle free...

We were arriving late which was handled with no issues at all. Very lovely clean and modern double bed up in the roofline. Short walk down to the clifftop area through the port and very convenient to the Heysham power plant which is what we were there to view. Very friendly hosts and nice breakfast cooked to order,

The room was lovely. Spacious and clean with everything you could need. Additionally the restaurant is fantastic and we were pleasantly surprised! The one down side is being on top of a pub. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t sleep until midnight over the weekend when the bar quietens down. The car parking was sufficient and the location made it easy to drive to ever...

Excellent location at the Lancaster City Center. Budget hotel. Tiny rooms. No toiletries at all. No bottled water even. But there is a vending machine in the building and a Tesco which remains open till 11pm just under the building. Very hispotable staff and every smiling service.

The holiday has a reputation to be up kept, with its good value for money, its good locations and overall a good hotel experience for the whole family. I fully believed that the holiday Inn Lancaster has upheld The holidays Inn reputation for all these things. I found the service to be quite good, catering my needs.
