"The Yubara Onsen Mori no Hotel Rochefort is a jewel in the mountains of Okayama. Just a short drive to both Yubara Onsen and Hiruzen Highlands, make it great location for sightseeing in the countryside of Japan. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the facilities clean and well maintained. The hotel bath was one of the best I've experienced. It receives my highest recommendation."

"We really had a great time with my friends even for a short time. Their customer service is commendable. Our plan really was to go the the Snow Love Festival in Hiruzen but unfortunately it was too far and the time was sort of late already but they really helped us go there even for just a short time. Kudos to the staff. "

It was nice having multiple spaces for us to spend our time. There is also an outdoor stone tub that we used as a hot tub. Close to Bear Village resort. Very clean and quaint cabin. Would stay again. I been many Ryokan in Japan and Kakkei Ryokan is the first Ryokan who calls in advance (with fluent English) to check. Thanks to the kind phone call, I could include dinner and enjoy Gaiseki Ryori which I did not included when I make reservation of this ryokan. I really enjoyed and got a good rest there!"
