The staff were friendly and helpful and most importantly reliable. Arranged bike rental, printed out my boarding pass upon request. The location is a short walk ~15min to the mall. Room was spacious, luxurious and clean. Love this little luxurious town of Marbella. Overall, one of the most memorable trips I ever had.

Hotel in a great position, 5 mins from the beach and in the middle to Marbella and Puerto Banus. 1st room we had furniture needed replacing as it was damaged and looked tatty, 2nd room was ok but maybe a bit of modernisation needed. Pool area was small compared to others I’ve been to but well kept and plenty of sun beds for the size of the hotel. Breakfast area small b...

I booked the hotel and was worried as it had a 2 star rating. From my experience having stayed at Sanderson London for 1 month and 7 months at W Hotel HK, I do know a bit about hotels. On arrival, I was well surprised, its not exactly 5 star of coz but is definitely not 2 star. Who gave them that rating which is grossly unfair. Maybe it has a no hen night nor stag do ...

Wow, we booked this hotel at the last minute and it was amazing! The photos were what attracted me in the 1st place, I was not disappointed. It is 10 min walk to the beach, and 20 mins to the marina. We never had any need to leave the hotel, as it had everything we needed under one roof x

Service excellent..Fabulous outdoor pools and gardens..rooms clean spacious and modern..location great for a 10min walk into Banus or even an 80min walk into Marbella if your mad like us!The indoor pool and jacuzzi were very disappointing as it was one of the main reasons we booked this hotel...definitely not up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. There are no te...

Very easy check-in and check-out process, fantastic location within 2 minutes from the Port and overlooking Plaza Beach. Parking on-site @ 29e per day which was not cheap but very convenient. Apartment was huge albeit dated and basic. Very good value for money and perfect for a group looking for cost effective accommodation in a prime location.

From the moment we arrived the service was fantastic. Nothing was too much for them. The breakfast you could choose whatever you wanted to eat. The hotel was one of the nicest places I've ever stayed and we will defiantly go back and stay there. If I had to rate thus hotel it would be 10 out of 10.

I staid for 1 night to go Salsa dancing in Marbella. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and ensure I was comfortable, safe, and had what I needed. I had room 24, up 51 stairs and at the end of a long hall. It was a bit of a climb coming back from the club at 4 am, but good to come back to nevertheless.

I loved it the guy i met first time made my stay amazing , but there was a lady working at the desk too she was extremly rude never answers my HOLAS ans of course never says hi , but rest of the staff was very nice including the cleaning ladies and cafe staff , i really loved and i think i wil go back again

We were looking for a great value short Autumn break, for relaxation, peace & quiet, but also in the centre of Marbella Old Town, which we certainly found at Don Alfredo - great location, welcoming & efficient staff, lovely room with balcony, good bar & restaurant & all very good value. Immensely enjoyable & we will certainly return.

Huge selection for breakfast buffet and catered well for Gluten Free. Perfect location for access to the beach and a short stroll to the Marbella Old Town. It also has a pool and offers nice beach towels. There are hotel owned sunbeds on the beach but they charge extra for those - cheaper than some other beaches in the region though. Wonderful stay - even though only f...

We enjoyed our stay. The hotel is very convenient if you want to explore the city centre, the beach area or the historic streets. An ideal place for a night, very clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed relaxing on the balcony with it's view over the city rooftops. There was plenty of room to spread out our things.

Spent a couple of nights at this hotel and was pleasantly surprised. Firstly there was private parking, which is always a bonus. Another good thing is it's location. This hotel is 5min walk to the beach front with all the nice restaurants and bars. The room was pretty good and had all you wanted, including a terrace with lovely views. The only thing I could fault from ...

A charming little hostel in a very quiet street. It's really clean, with a good size bathroom and room. The only drawback is finding it by car as it's not accessible directly! You have to park and get directions/ access from the hostel, which is difficult as the roads are jam packed with cars. Took us 4 goes. Paking is allegedly 150m away but that involves a main road ...

We stayed in the 4 bed deluxe villa. It was huge! Very clean, lovely garden and 2 balconies, all with a sea view. The room was a little pricey, but given its size and location was worth every penny. The grounds are well maintained and very peaceful, even in July. PB Marina is about a 10-15 min walk.

well after a horrendous taxi ride we eventually found the place - make sure you print out the hotels own directions which they will send you if you email them! i then hauled my bags around the directions they gave me to the apartment which included going up and down 70 steps. i discovered a much shorter route the next day, but that incorporated 90 steps! however the a...

This place has no parking. All the rooms face out onto the swimming pool and bar area so it can get pretty loud. Not the cleanest wither. However, it is shelter for the night for a low price so you can't complain too much, but I'd try to find another place if I were you.

Stayed here for a few days at the end of May. Werner & Lisa are a super friendly couple running the place & do a great job of making you welcome. Always quick to reply to Email in advance of my arrival if I had any questions. Would have no hesitation in staying there again or recommending it to others. Keep up the good work folks.

Unless you desperately need to be in Marbella (you probably don't) this would make a very good base for exploring the area. We spent half a day in Marbella and it was more than enough. Very friendly and helpful staff, 15 walk to the beach, plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Excellent coffee in the morning! Recommended.

I'm visiting family in the nearby hospital every day and the location is ideal.. It takes me less than half an hour to walk there, and under 7euros for a taxi. I've only had breakfasts at the restaurant, but they are excellent, and very large! The pool looks very inviting, but I have not tried it. The rooms are small, and very well finished. The bathrooms are equip...

I stayed at this hotel with a friend (no option for that in the drop down so I chose group). We were very happy with our stay here, if you are looking for a basic hotel that is clean, modern and including all the essentials you need within your room then this is perfect. The rooms are cleaned every day also. The kitchen facilities include everything apart from a cooker...

Traveler impressions of Marbella
lovely, laid back place - ocean and ocean walk great; plus don't miss old town & orange square fragrance
The old quarter of the city is most interesting with a large number of narrow, winding streets. The area contains many old, picturesque buildings, but also bars, restaurants and souvenier shops.

More about Marbella
Marbella is certainly a modern town today, but its roots go as far back as 1600 BC. This history can be discovered in the Old Town and its several sites, including Plaza de los Naranjos, the Castle, and 16th century Bazan Hospital-turned-Museum of Spanish Engraving. For those who enjoy leisurely strolls, the Golden Mile offers a four-mile stretch that is the sight of luxurious residences and landmark hotels. Other laidback activities to enjoy here are golfing on one of the many spectacular golf courses or hitting up the track for the horseraces. For the adventurous, skiing is just a couple hours away in the Sierra Nevada, and parasailing over the sea can be experienced at the port. From Marbella, one can also broaden their horizons with a trip out to Gibraltar or to the famous yacht marina of Puerto Banus.
