Very spectacular hotel for travelers who are looking forward to stay in a luxury Hotel in Marrakesh with a reasonable value of money. We loved the staff because they were very helpful when we didn't like the first room when we checked in, they changed it right away when we requested. It has a very marvelous Islamic themed, the hotel garden is very very very nice. We enjoyed their breakfast is was fabulous and lots of variety of food, the view was amazing with the olives and fruits trees. I will definitely come visit again, and recommend it to other travelers.

We stayed for 6 nights in december ,recieved a warm welcome from the Staff ,we had to wait over 2 hours to get a room but the room was beautiful ,we had a double and it was perfect for us . 5 stars in Marrakech is nowhere near 5 stars in europe but it was a definite 4 stars and we were Happy with that . Staff were polite and friendly at all times . Perfect location if you want to be in the busy market Where all the action takes place ,once you are in the hotel you dont hear anything . The breakfast was included and that was my only negative as i expected more after reading the reviews .. i have never eaten so little in a hotel because the options were limited considering its a 5 star hotel... only scrambled eggs are in the buffet and they are so runny almost uncooked and taste weird ,i have Asked for fried eggs and they were half uncooked worse i had,NexT day i ordered a cheese omelette and that was so dissapointing tasteless and had no cheese on...

As seasoned travellers we’ve been to many hotels around the world, but there is something about Dar Les Cigognes (DLC) that sets it apart.... it’s people. The moment you walk in Hayat, the resident manager, greets you like an old friend welcoming you home. The rest of the staff will help you with everything and anything -they truly care that you have the perfect stay. DLC is a beautiful boutique hotel, the rooms are spacious and have that Moroccan flair of interior design. I highly suggest having dinner on the terrace overlooking the city it’s such a peaceful experience and a quick escape from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The location of the riad is perfect - you can walk just about anywhere! The ladies that manage DLC put so much heart and warmth into this experience it will make you never want to leave. Thank you for making our first time in Marrakech a life-time of perfect memories.

Getting there is difficult (specially if it's the first time you are in Marrakech). It is two/three streets away from the main square. The street where it is located looks dirty and ugly but the hotel from the inside is really nice. It is a very good hide away from the craziness of the streets (very peaceful and quiet, with trees in the yard). Our room was nice, although the bathroom was not that nice (each time you flush the toilet, you can hear the water pipes) and the shower was very old and low water pressure. The breakfast was very good! I recommend to include it from the beginning in your reservation... It's worth it! In general, good place very near the main square and the souks with a friendly staff.

This is like an Oasis in Marrakech, got great air conditioning inside which is what u need in Marrakech in july!!! Loved the decor that gives you a Moroccan vibe as oppose to four seasons that was more modern, the room was nice, spacious and got a good ac going on. staff were nice, didn't enjoy the breakfast just because it was more of a local style than full english or american breakfast. the spa was nice, got 40%off if u understand a little french which was a good deal, dinner was ok. All in all it was a good stay in Marrakech

My wife and I had booked lots of hotels/resorts for our recent 3 week honeymoon holiday. Admittingely I was nervous about most of our destinations -- Riad Zolah was the exception to the fact. I was amazed to find such a fantastic deal for Zolah on Agoda.com -- the reviews on every travel site are amazing. Deservingly so, Fatima, Abdul and the entire staff at Zolah treated my wife and I as members of the family. It felt as if we were visiting long lost cousins, eager to show us the city - ply us with their food and charm us with the stories we weren't around to enjoy. For those of you who have not visited Marrakech, it is best described as an assault on the senses. It is a bustling, loud and frenetic city that can take you by your bootstraps and whip you around like a rag doll. That being said, you need a respite. An escape from it all -- see Riad Zolah. A beautifully adorned and meticulously kept Riad tucked in to the cavernous medina that is Marrakech. If you do want treat, enjoy a meal with the staff. We were encouraged to enjoy a dinner on our first night and it was a lovely idea. As I have forgotten the exact name for it, you must try the cheese stuffed fried appetizers. YOU MUST!! Breakfast on the veranda is a treat in and of itself -- you get lovely fresh made treats of the staffs choice, different options every day. Not to mention that you enjoy the company of the lovely kittens, Michelle and Mitchell -- I don't even like cats, but I wanted to take them home!! Last but not least, the kindness -- it is unmatched, their were times that we were genuinely intimidated by Marrakech but we knew that we could escape to the comfort of our Riad for much deserved, R & R. Thank you Riad Zolah -- you're an 11 on a scale of 1 to 10.

Staying at the Meridien N'Fis was an absolute delight for me and my entire family (3 adult children). Although there are many charming Riyads in Marrakech, the Meridien is ideal in terms of offering a resort-like atmosphere. The only minor negative point would be the difficulty in getting a "big" taxi outside the hotel. I can definitely recommend this hotel for business visitors or for families wishing to enjoy a pleasant stay in Marrakech

Our experience at the Riad Viva was exceptional from the moment we arrived until the point we had to leave. The service and overall experience was incredible. Upon our arrival at the airport the Riad Viva had organized a warm welcome from a local taxi service and they escorted us. The hotel is embedded in an authentic local neighborhood. Initially we weren’t sure about the walkway to the hotel. However, as two women we felt safe in this particular neighbourhood. The hotel staff also assured us that the area is very safe. The Riad was a short 10-minute walk to the main square and souks market. Upon our arrival at the Riad we were greeted in a very relaxed manner and served traditional mint tea, which we continued to drink 3 times a day. During our arrival tea Aziza came and helped us plan out our 3-day itinerary with her extensive knowledge of the area and activities. Our room was impeccably clean and comfortable, it was our own little oasis after exploring the colourful and bustling streets of Marrakech. The weather was warm for us Canadians so one afternoon we enjoyed the sun and pool on the roof terrace where we also had refreshing breakfasts each morning. We ate authentic Morracan dinners at the hotel twice, the service and food were both outstanding. We felt like princesses. When it was time to leave we were sadly escorted out by one of our new friends (Raul?, we weren’t sure how to spell it) we had made at the hotel where the taxi service picked us up and brought us right to the desk of our departing flight. Overall, it was one of the most outstanding hotel experiences I have had and would definitely return to the Riad Viva.

We were on our honeymoon...and a friend recommended this hotel. After 18 days of travelling, his is by far the best hotel I have ever used. The staff are warm and accommodating. The room, garden view, ad it's own courtyard. The pool was welcomed after many hot days travelling and the bed was the best king sized bed ever. The staff even let us have a extra long check out. The only two negatives would be that of he lighting in the oom....always in mood lighting....mood good if you won't to read..... And the dining menu was a little steep, but you get that!! On the whole...a brilliant location, top facilities and it s a pace we will recommend to others!!!

It is a small hotel situated in the best part of Hivernage acoss from the cool Delano hotel so one can take advantage of the latter's superior facilities (roof restaurant etc. The rooms are comfortable and quite spacious, unfortunately with a very small wardrobe that would not be sufficient for two people staying over a weekend. The staff courteous and helpful. Breakfast good, it would help if tere were some english speaking newspapers.

we stayed at the main riad. be aware that other riads are far darker and in our view less hospitable. the room was very nice however small (not abnormal in an old riad). staff were very friendly but the service level is far below a 5 stars hotels (no room service after midnight, no coffee machine, no tv, no iron available). swimming pool is more a cold jacuzzi. the spa is really magnificent. the medina is dangerous: we were robbed.

A really nice Family place, lots of locals with kids. Noisy Animation for kids during dinner time. Not so relaxing. Buffet was good but the staff was bad. Had to run around to find something to drink, nobody seemed to feel in charge for us. For the Price we payed I would expect way more Service. Great garden and Pool! Rooms are really nice. Single and couples feel a bit lost amonst all the families...

The Palm Plaza has the potential to be one of the most sought after places to stay in Marrakech if it would work on training its staff a little better. The people at the check in desk are not very efficient or enthusiastic, and the people working at the various restaurants can be arrogant and inattentive. Also, the hotel does not do a good job of describing where the different amenities are, and the staff in the fitness and spa part of the hotel are not overly friendly or helpful. I got the impression that the spa services, indoor pool, and fitness room were majorly underused mostly because guests probably didn't know about them! Overall, however, the Palm Plaza is very pleasant and destined to become a great hotel of Marrakech if it gets its staff in gear and its amenities better publicized.

Riad Lorsya is a great place to stay. It is beautifully decorated and gives you a real feel for what it's like to stay in a Moroccan home. The Riad Lorsya has a quiet serenity about it. The delightful craziness of the streets and alleyways is offset by the tranquility of The Lorsya. The staff are very helpful - organising day trips and porters. Our porter Aziz didn't just carry our stuff to and from the taxi - he made sure we made in through the labyrinthine streets without getting run over one of the many scooters that scoot through them at speed. Marrakech is an amazing city and a stay at Riad Lorsya made it even more so. You don't need a TV in Marrakech. Sit on the roof top terrace or go for a walk.

We picked this hotel for its location and price and was not dissppointed.The staff are very friendly and helpful,and organised transport to and from the airport for us prior to our departure from the UK.they also have a wealth of knowledge about sightseeing and recommend several really local/authentic restaurants for us to visit for dinner in the old town,and advised us of barganing stragys for when we hit the markets

The hotel is super nice and the staff is wonderful. The food is more than descent for an all inclusive. Location wise the hotel is out of the city which is relaxing but you can be in the center in 10min with the fee shuttle bus. The hotel entertainment caters more for families but even as a couple we had a great time as we won't looking to party and again the staff is wonderful ! I would definitely recommend this hotel for an easy relaxing break.

Great riad for relaxing in for a chilled escape from the craziness of Marrakech. Small but comfortable and nicely decorated rooms. Great roof top terrace to chill out on. The hotel is difficult to find as you have to wind round several alleys to get there so I would recommend getting the airport pick up although the locals are very helpful in helping you to find it! All the main sightseeing attractions are within a short walk. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and make a great breakfast and are always there with delicious mint tea! Great place, so quiet compared to the loud and busy city which was great too. Would definitely stay there again.

Located away from the bustling city center of Marrakesh, this resort was a superb resting place, unless you prefer to stay close to the Medina. It's about 10 minutes away by taxi to the Medina - cost around 50 Dirham. A nice thing about this resort is that one can walk to a mall with Carrefour in it in 5 minutes. The room was splendid; we really liked it. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Good breakfast too.

Palais Donab is a dream for a first time visitor to Marrakech. It is within walking distance of the drop off point of transportation to the medina. It is close to the back entrance to the Djermaa al Fna. It has excellent restaurants, Dar Moha, Dar Marjana, within walking distance. The Palais itself has a fine restaurant which seems to be available to guests whenever they are hungry. The stonework in the place is fabulous like a mini Bahia palace. The suites are spacious and well appointed. Courtyard and pool may be shared by guests from other riads but it does not present a problem for the six suites at this more than spacious riad. The service and staff are equally highly recommended. Palais Donab is money well spent.

Marrakech is an assault on the senses, and Dar Anika is the perfect escape from the noise, hustle and bustle. The location is a surprise - the taxi drops you off next to a roundabout at the start of a covered alley filled with small shops that takes you to the central square (so if you're sightseeing or want to get a real taste of Marrakech you couldn't be in a better location). Just to the left of the man asleep in the donkey cart and the old man lying on a pile of mattresses, surrounded by his possessions in plastic bags, is the double black doors of Dar Ankia. The contrast between the cacophony outside and the tranquillity within is incredible. Suddenly there is peace, calm, and friendly, attentive but inobtrusive staff who will do anything to ensure you're stay is a wonderful one. The greatest compliment I can pay them is that the only comparable level of service I've experienced was in one of the best hotels of the world; nothing is too much trouble, and you feel as if you're staying amongst friends for whom nothing is too much trouble.

The Riad was perfect in every way. The staff were fantastic and very accommodating. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner there and all meals were exceptional we even had a chance at cooking our own. The only downside is that you don't get a choice of meals at dinner. The staff showed us around the area which was very helpful as the square in Marrakech can be very daunting.
