After years of decline, the Golf View, under new ownership, is finally improving. They have done some renovations in the common areas, the elevator worked OK, and they have a new dinner service which is edible though still not satisfactory. Excellent

Family room was big and spacious, food in the hotel lovely and the breakfast was very good the staff were very nice and helpful. The hotel is near the beach and only a short walk to the shops, pier and the swimming pool. Bathroom needs a bit updating, shower trim and splash back at sink and the room would benefit from a comfy chair/chairs. We enjoyed our stay :-)

We were to be guests at a wedding reception to be held at the hotel. While this wasn’t the lowest cost option in the area, it turned out to be very good.
