Traveling to France? Find Paris hotels

1K Hotel was a great hotel in Paris, especially with all the amenities and modern decor. My only caveats with this hotel would be 1) the service from the attached restaurant 2) the maid service and 3) the television. When we went to the restaurant to ask what the vegan/vegetarian options were (as we booked this hotel specifically because there were noted options) the hostess was downright rude. I don't think she understood what we were asking, but rather than try to help or understand, she simply said "no" and walked away. We were shocked. Secondly, we put a Do Not Disturb sign on our door for the four night, five days we were here. On the fourth day, we were in our room and heard a banging at the door. It was the maid and she kept banging until we let her in and she started cleaning! Finally, we had issues with the movies on the TV that front desk couldn't help with and said was broken. Tons of free movies to watch and none could be played.

Hotel was not too big but it was definitely clean. At the lobby, they had fresh fruits and tea and coffee, available to all the guests. Receptionist was nice and even gave us some suggestions to fully enjoy our first time in Paris. Room was a little too small but the bathroom was huge and nice. They had some pretty good toiletries and a really nice showerhead. Bed was the comfiest we've had in our entire Euro trip. Room was complete with a coffee maker, chocolates and biscuits. Location was a little far from the attractions but we didnt mind taking long walks because of the nice weather. There were also a lot of nice bistros and pattisseries around the hotel.

The hotel is located within walking distance of the louvre museum. There is also a supermarket, money changer and lots of cafes around the corner. The room is quite small which they say is typical of paris hotels but nicely decorated. There is even an espresso machine! Breakfast was the best! There is also a rooftop with lots of chairs wherein you can relax.😊 The only drawback is that one of the staff at the lobby was kind of a snob.

it was our great experience staying at jules hotel. all staff especially a spanish guy was very helpful and had great service mind. room is new and very clean. great location, i.e. 10 metre from metro station, walking distance to opera and galleries lafayette. best hotel in paris or even in europe we ever stayed. will definitely be back to jules in our next trip to paris. free wifi internet.

20 years ago, my wife visited Paris for one day trip from London. She did not stay overnight. This year, we planned for our visit to this city for vacation & shopping. I was not interested in that but wanted to visit some iconic landmarks in Paris & spend some times in the Grand Mosquee of Paris. We also need to find halal food in Paris. So our itinerary coverage in Paris was large; from Belleville to Centre of Pompidou to Grand Mosquee to Champ Ellysee to Eiffle Tower, all within 4 days. Since we never experienced staying in Paris, our decision in choosing hotel is quite blur. After considering the coverage we need to do, we decided to stay as close to transport interchange station because we need to jump to Metro as fast as we can....and the hotel must be cheap but comfortable, sounds too good to be true. We came across Le Hotel de Normandie in Agoda, low price hotel, good location & the room looks good in the picture. So we booked. The moment we checked in, we knew that we made the right choice. The staff is friendly with english speaking, the Metro station is so closed that as if it's part of the hotel & the room is so carefully finished with good material (the sanitary fittings brand is Grohe) & the bed is so comfortable. What else can we say about this hotel....it's simply brilliant choice. I would highly recommended to all travelers. A few things though, you need to bring your own mug because the hotel does not provide, but they have kettle. Ask for room facing St Lazarre for some good view, but the window is not sound proof, so a bit noisy at night. Expect the room small but for moslem there are space for pray. No halal food around, you need to travel to Belleville to find one. All in all.....book this hotel while it's still cheap and have a nice day

Despite making a last minute reservation to stay at Madeleine Plaza Hotel, our booking via Agoda was immediately attended to by the hotel staff ( I had sent them a chaser e-mail immediately because it was last minute). Our check-in was seamless and they were kind enough to allow us to check-in early after our long flight. Also, we were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded. The room, although slightly small (you'll be hard pressed to find large hotel rooms in Paris), was neat and tidy and had a beautiful view facing the Madeleine Cathedral. Only criticism of the room would be that the TV lacked English channels, but then again who would want to watch TV in Paris?? Hotel staff were always friendly, polite and ever willing to help. Of course, to top it off, the location can't be beaten, a short walk away from Place De La Concorde, The Louvre and the Opera Garnier, with loads of eateries and shopping options within walking distance as well. Overall, a highly recommended hotel.

The Hotel is beautiful, but location is everything. The yellow line Metro is right outside the front door. This line will take you anywhere you want to be with minimal transfers. I flew into Orly from Toulouse. I was able to go directly to the hotel on Orlyval with one transfer in under an hour. My hotel room was ready and perfect; with views of the Arche. If you have an early flight or simply want to make sure you get to CDG with the least amount of issues, ask the hotel to arrange at taxi. It’s on time and comfortable, worth the money. Sit outside in the evenings and watch the Eiffel Tower light up, run along the river. My favorite Paris Hotel.

We chose this hotel because of the name Hotel California and I've always loved that song. That aside, I have been to Paris a few times and I really enjoyed this hotel better than the others I've stayed at. I think this hotel is very good value for money. The rooms are bigger than the other hotels I've stayed at in Paris for the same price. The location is fantastic - very close to the action. We were not able to book tickets to Moulon Rouge online as it was sold out, but the staff at the hotel was able to book tickets for us at the same price as the online price. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Overall, I had no complaints about this hotel, it was a very comfortable stay and I would definitely stay there again and would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I had booked this place as it is very close to the Eiffel Tower. Believe me u will not be disappointed. The Eiffel Tower is just a 10 min walk. The rooms are a bit small but the prices are absolutely bang on for the location. Their breakfast was nice. I personally had a difficult time in Paris city as I was pickpocketed the very first day. The hotel went out of its way to help me block the cards and get some money from the security deposit and also waived off some emergency international call charges. Absolutely recommend this place for anyone to stay PS: just be careful while travelling by metro in Paris

I stayed there for 3 nights during the Paris Motorshow period. So the price of hotels went up for the same Paris hotel quality (always too small) and we decided to stay in this one. 1. spacious room 2. right next to Les Halles station (aslo RER connection) 3. Plenty of restaurants nearby I have heard some horrible reviews from other people of other Citadines but his one was really nice. Will definitely stay again.

Stayed 4 night in Paris for my honeymoon trip. Mercure Paris Tour Eiffel is the BEST location, a few step to Eiffel Tower, great location for metro and airport bus in front of the hotel. The Staff name "Vivek" very nice and friendly. He help me to call local tour city and booking the restaurant on the top of Eiffel Tower. Comfortable bed. Many good restaurants, one Chinese Restaurant around this area. Wonderful Honeymoon Trip here, We can see Eiffel Tower all days and Night. Good High Speed Internet without Password The Best Hotel Ever!!!! If I come to Paris, Definitely come here again

I really enjoyed my stay at BOB, the property is in a lovely neighbourhood, with many bars, bakeries and restaurants. Really off the tourist track, so you feel like you are experiencing the real Paris, however with very easy transport connections to all over the city, and walkable to most attractions. Really can't fault the hotel, a lovely stay and would definitely book again.

First I have to say that I would never book with Agoda again. They overcharged me, and caused me considerable aggravation in trying to get a refund, which after numerous emails, they finally agreed. The hotel is in a wonderful location, within a few minutes walk of some of the best museums, art galleries and sites of Paris. It is also close to lots of shops. The staff were all extremely obliging anf friendly and did everything to welcome guests. My 'comfort room' was a nice size, with a very comfortable bed and pillows, and snug duvet in a lovely white cotton cover. There were no drawers in the room for some reason, and although there was a safe, it was unusable as it was at floor level in the cupboard. There was an espresso machine, and tea and coffee in the room. The bathroom was a nice size, but in common with even 5* hotels, did not provide proper lighting or mirror for a woman wanting to apply makeup. Breakfast was good. I would definitely stay here again.

Even though the area around the hotel is pretty busy with lots of shops and restaurants as well as the metro passing by every couple of minutes, we had a great time and a pleasant stay. The kitchen is useful and has most of the necessary itemst that are needed for simple cooking including an electronic dishwasher. The bed was comfy, the bathroom was relatively new and clean. In the lobby downstairs is a coffee machine that can be used for free. The staff was surprisingly friendly and very helpful which is not always the case when traveling and staying in Paris. Even though the room was not cheap (160€ per night) it's definitely worth staying there because of the central position which made sense for us because we only had a weekend trip in Paris and wanted to see all the tourist spots.

Front desk - was very friendly and helpful, has luggage storage and elevator. Breakfast - usual bread, has egg boiler (hard, medium), ham and coffee machine was good! At least this was good compare to my second Paris hotel. Room: Samsung tv (size is a little small but maybe that is normal here as I also stay at another Paris hotel when my friend arrive) Bathroom was split into two, so no need to wait for one if the bathroom is busy. Bed sheets and towels are clean at 1st look. Did not see in-room kettle, so would be nice to have that (I didn't ask for it as it was only one night). Location - right at exit of la-motte metro, from metro has upward elevator, good for luggage!! Starbucks is just next door, two local bistro, macdonalds, walk further down, u will have supermarket and pharmacy. IMHO - this is recommended!!

Pleasant 2 day stay in this newly refurbished hotel in the 'Opera' area of Paris, an area which has plenty of restaurants/bars/cafes but is probably best located for shopping! We walked to most of the central sights of Paris from here - 10/15/25 minutes - such as Louvre and other locations on the river Seine. Hotel rooms are actually very nice - as per the pictures - and very clean, comfortable and functional with nice bathrooms which is unusual for Paris! Tea/coffee plus fridge in the room. Beds/bedding new and comfortable. We had Superior rooms, a double for parents and twin for our 2 sons of 17 and 15 and the hotel arranged these to be opposite - perfect! Rooms have TVs with plenty of multi-cultural channels etc. There is a small but well equipped gym in the basement of the hotel. The only negative point was the breakfast buffet which seemed to have run-out by the time we appeared at about 9.30/10am! We therefore decided to eat out on both days of our stay. Overall though, very pleased and would recommend the hotel to you.

i scoured the internet looking for affordable boutique hotels in paris with very little success. luckily we discovered the le relais monceau which fit our budget perfectly. rooms were simple, though the bathroom looked like it had been recently updated. some may find the rooms small, but that is the standard in paris. there were two of us in a superior room and had no issues. wifi availability in the salon and first floor may be a pain to some, but i found it rather refreshing not having internet access on the 3rd floor - besides, you're in paris! location was just right with the villiers metro stop (blue line) within a 2 minute walk.

pleasant staff and nice breakfast but rooms go more for style than substance. Very small bedroom, open to sink and shower area (good) and with black painted,coffin-like wc (i do not really need a full length mirror when sitting on loo!). Adequate hanging space for clothes but insufficient shelf space. No separate and well lighted mirror which meant I had to wait while wife making up at side of sink. Like so many Paris hotels (we have family there and are frequent visitors), not enough room to swing a cat!

This was our third trip to Paris and this is certainly the best hotel we have stayed at compared to the dives we have stayed in on previous visits. It costs a bit more than some hotels but staying in Paris is not cheap if you want good accomodation.The hotel is clean and offers all modern facilities. The staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. The photos are an accurate reflection of the property and it will probably be better once they have completed all their renovations. The food prices in the restaurant were quite reasonable given the tourist location and some of the other hotels in the area. The location is superb with the Louvre and the Tuilleries across the road. It is als close to most of the other major tourist attractions.The metro is approximately 30 meters across the road and there are lots of little cafes very close by. I would thoroughly reccommend this hotel to anyone who wants value for money and a great location. The only thing I think they need to provide is coffee and tea making facilities in the rooms. This was also lacking in a 5 star hotel we stayed at in Epernay so it must be a common theme in French hotels. Overall I think it is excellent and I would happily stay there again. i thoroughly enjoyed my stay at beauchamps hotel, paris. the front desk was helpful in arranging an early check-in for me after a 14 hour flight so that i can freshen up before my 12noon meeting & i was pleasantly surprised to discover the cup of caffe i had in the restaurant while waiting for the room was complimentary! also a delight to know that my luggage was sent up to the room even before i was informed that i could use it! it was also an extension of their good service for the concierge to walk me out of the hotel to ensure i got into the right cab they called for me. the room & decor was lovely & contemporary with good standard of hygiene & cleanliness (the towel rack was even heated so it was great to have a warm towel after shower especially in february!) & the bed was very comfortable! (if only there were more selections of english programmes on their cable tv - the only english shows were the news channels.) the proximity to both champs elysee (just 5-7 min walk) & to rue faubourg st honore (about 10 min walk) is great! lots of cafes & restaurants nearby too! only problem i faced was the noise from the clubbers across the street & irate motorists honking...not sure if the hotel could upgrade their windows to be more sound-proofed from external noise...then the rooms would be perfect for a 3-4 star hotel! beauchamps hotel is a definite choice for me if i should visit paris again! great price for the comfort, location & wonderful service!

Just as the name suggests the location close to Eiffel Tower, Les Invalides and Ecole militaire as well as two metro stations within a five minute walk, let alone one of the best street markets in Paris, this hotel is well located. Staff are welcoming, caring and likeable. Rooms, especially bathrooms are very good, breakfasts excellent. Lift to all floors is spacious. What have I missed? I would stay there any time I am in Paris.

We stayed at the largest suite. The suite was exclusive, clean and with AC. I loves the decor. A plus for the Nespresso and the Clarins products in the bathroom. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was so friendly. We asked for a early check in and a late check out, and they did their best to manage our wishes. I’ve been to Paris a lot and always stayed in 4-5 stars hotels. This suite apartments is small but definately in class. I will definately come back again.

We were extremely happy to have found this cozy hotel in Paris city center and would love to recommend it to all our friends. First of all, the location is superb -- 1.5 blocks away from Champs Elysees (Franklin Roosevelt roundabout). Very easy access to metro station and convenient to reach literally all tourist places in the city. There are also many choices of eateries right next to the hotel including a 4.5-star Crepe restaurant. The hotel was remodeled in 2009 with artistic internal decoration. Though small, the room was equipped with modern-styled furniture and decent brand bathing supplies. Last but not the least, the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They spoke good English so there was no trouble in communication at all. They helped us print papers without charge; they provided umbrellas; they booked taxi; and they let us store some of our luggage for more than a week (we left Paris and returned there later). We will return to the same hotel next time we are in Paris for sure!

this was a very good find. the hotel was in an excellent position for exploring paris, with the metro/rer at the top of the road, and very easy to find with the air france bus stopping at the top of the road from the airports. we booked a superior room which was a good size but the classic room did look a bit small. the rooms were exceptionally clean but although a kettle is provided it might be a good idea to take some more tea bags and some milk, which can always be kept in the mini fridge.

This hotel is strategically located in the heart of shopping district. You can find YSL at the hotel lobby floor, Chanel is just 10 meters away, Gucci and Burberry are around the corner. Breakfast is good, typical European style and they served quite early. My room is very spacious and bathroom is clean. The staffs here are very friendly and helpful. I will come back here to stay if I back to Paris.
