"Very fast and trouble-free check-in and check-out. No forms to fill out. Location is very close to a Paris Metro station so you can take trains to anywhere in Paris and the surrounding area. Rooms and bathroom are a bit small but adequate. Room facilities are basic with towels and liquid soap for both washing and bathing. No other items provided like toothbrushes and toothpaste. Buffet breakfast was always the same and a bit pricey at Euros10.00 for breads, cheese, cold cuts, cereals, juices, coffee, tea, boiled eggs (no fried). During the 3rd day of our 4-day stay, the egg cooker broke down and was not replaced. Also, there was a false fire alarm at about 4am one morning. There was no hotel staff to guide us and assure us that all was under control. While guests were in the very cold Paris early morning on the sidewalk, no staff made any public announcement about what was going on. "

"Super close to the Eiffel Tower and metro and bike rentals were very close. The bed was a decent size and clean. The doors of the stand up shower were broken the first night we arrived. This caused a leak and caused us not to be able to close them properly. We told the staff the next morning who told us they would get it fixed that day. We got back and it was still broken. We told them again and still it was broken when we returned. On the thirds night when we returned, the doors were physically off the hinges and leaning against the wall!!! The cleaning staff had broken it and didn’t bother fixing it or telling the front desk to get someone to fix it. We tried to fix it ourselves over and over so that we can shower without flooding the bathroom but every time we returned, the cleaners that day broke the doors even more! We spent 6 nights and the shower doors were never fixed. Aside from that. The elevator also broke. Which is super Inconvenient with suitcases."

"There was a French guy receptionist which was so polite and provided us a lot of useful informations that eventually made our travel in Paris easier. Initially we expected the airport transfer service was that they will send someone to come pick us up in the airport and get us to the hotel but it wasn't and only realised after we reached the airport and called the staff there after waited there for about half an hour. And we were told it was only available when we were about to leave the hotel and it wasn't free, £36 in fact. And after we requested for such service, the French guy told us it could be cancelled. But after tomorrow there was another woman in the reception there which was not so friendly, we managed to cancelled the booking as we thought we might not able to reach the hotel on time. But eventually we able to made it hence we would like to book for such service again and this time the woman wasn't happy about this and showed us unpleasant tone in her voice and expression. At last we went to the airport by public transport. Beside this, the elevator was so small and barely fit in 3 persons in small sizes and it will be extremely hard if you are travelling with large baggage. But i love the elevator as it was old style one and gave us the really vintage feel. The sound proofing system was also not so good, you could hear the conversation of the people staying next door clearly. Except these unpleasant experiences, overall was excellent."

"I really like CitizenM and when I have a layover that's usually where I stay. But I've never had a layover on CDG before and it took me forever to find out how to get the CSGVAL. I arrived late in the evening and during corona, so the airport was a mess. Would have been great to have a little map or something from the hotel telling me how to get out there 😊"

"I arrived at Gare du Nord train station, Paris from the CDG airport (easy - phew!) and found that St Christopher's Inn was easy to find once you navigated yourself out of the station and found your bearings on Rue de Dunkurque (walk towards the post office). Although I arrived early they were very friendly and offered me a shower to freshen up and (paid) lockers to hold my stuff until 2pm check in. If you forget anything like a towel (whoops!), you can rent one for the length of your stay as well as buy other basic essentials. I found the staff very informative, spoke English well and tried their best to accommodate my every need. The room (6 mixed dorm) and bed linen were really clean (amazing doona!), warm and secure. You also got a massive drawer to lock your stuff in under your bunk. The showers were good but the cleaning agent/or disinfectant in the showers/communal bathroom was pretty stinky?! I also found it difficult to keep pressing the shower button whilst having a shower due to a neurological disorder in my arm but I managed. They were of a decent size so you could get changed in the cubicle without getting your clothes wet. The food at night was good (I'm a vegetarian - burger pattie was really dry) but not fantastic. The continental breakfast was on the other hand great and good quality! Baguettes, cheese, cereal, coffee, juice, etc. nice. I also used the laundry facilities up stairs (about 5 Euro wash and dry), which was good. Overall my stay there was great and will stay there again en route back to Oz. Can't really fault anything of locker, towel rent and laundry costs as well as stinky bathrooms but otherwise the location is pretty darn awesome! Thanks guys and gals. Looking forward to seeing you all again!! Oh and the free day tour with Roberta through Paris is so worth it!! Just rug up and don't drink too much coffee beforehand (no toilets!! ha!)."
