Best hotels & accommodations in Penrith

I'd give this 5 stars! Just returned from a 1 night stay. my wife and I had a fabulous time! highly recommended! We stayed for our anniversary, it was a nice touch by the hotel to pop an anniversary card under our door during our stay. From the minute we checked in all staff were very friendly. Our room and the whole hotel were spotless. the gym was nice and clean with...

Super friendly host who made sure to remember both my and hubby's Names, the room we booked (early) was really quaint with four-poster bed and quaint bathroom, would not have such a room if at a hotel. Breakfast was great too, has both standard and vegetarian full breakfast, as well as other items, our first intro to black pudding and i had the vegetarian full breakfa...

The stay was unexpectedly quiet and not in a bad way. The restaurant staff were very attentive. The various lounges feels very homey and luxurious at the same time so it is perfect to relax and unwind with a nice glass of whiskey. We went there as a young couple and was quite surprised to find most of the guests were...on the older side. But I guess that is more becaus...

I spent a few days walking in the footsteps of poets and artists, breathing in the scent of mountains and the sight of flowers, enjoying the mist and rain and intermittent sunshine. A beautiful part of the UK, and the Bank House B and B is a great location to experience the joys of the Cumbrian countryside!

Small room, 3rd floor as far away from reception as possible. Corridor outside the room full of decorating equipment and smelling of dust and paint. Wi fi intermittent despite the hotels own website stating wi-fi in all rooms. Interestingly the information in the rooms contradicts that.

The room was very good and clean. The bed was so good till I don't really want to wake up so early. The host was so nice even we are late for the check in timing but he is very understanding and let us in. Good.. will be back on this hotel if we are coming to England again.

The Ulswater is a lovely place to stay; we were pasing through, so just one night's stay, but it's in a great location, overlooking the lake and close to the restaurants and pubs of Pooley Bridge but in a quiet and pleasant rural location. Super-nice owner and her family were friendly and welcoming without being pushy. Room and bathroom were fab: very well-eqipped roo...

Having come up for a Karate competition, we arrived early. But had to wait till 17.30 to book in, that was the only downside. Room was clean and tidy (TV little small) restaurant looked popular and cosy. Could not eat in the restaurant as we met up with friends. Breakfast was great and the manager has a really nice personality.

A very nice studio apartment with Blencathra view. The room was very nice and everything looked new. Very clean and tidy. The view from the room was really nice. A very quiet place. Just exactly what you need to relax. This room has everything you need for a holiday. The large corner window was very nice.
