I had a great time in Perth and Woldlea. The staff were very welcoming and helpful with information about the area. Breakfast was excellent. I walked from the train station an took a bus to Scone Palace.. The Black Watch and river walk by the gardens was well worth the visit.
We stayed at various b&b and guest houses during our holiday to Scotland and this was by far the best. Tasteful en suite bedroom, friendly staff and delicious breakfast. Highly recommend.

Perth clearly had a wealthy past and is good looking and well maintained and accessible. We never saw the streets busy - it is a quiet relaxed place and you may need to look carefully to find places to eat in the evening - but there are several excellent restaurants around the Kirk area.
Beautiful and amazing natural parks and farms. Really enjoy travelling through the farms and mountains.
