Traveling to Philippines? Find Roxas City (Capiz) hotels

San Antonio is the best value for money hotel in Roxas City. The property is close to the beach (you would have to cross a small road to get to the beach, as with all beachfront hotels in Roxas), the room is clean with hot shower, the hotel is also near restaurant huts (where you can get the cheapest and best tasting seafood in the Philippines), and their pool is enjoyable especially off peak season. While these are to be expected in any resort facility, what stands out for San Antonio is their outstanding service with honest and kind staff who aims to make sure that you have the best time with them as possible. Special mention to Russell who even helped with a few errands. I got the lagoon view room and enjoyed the massage, mani and pedi at the room. Pickup to and from the airport also made my stay so convenient. Will definitely go back!

Espacio Verde was a very pleasant surprise, a tropical paradise after a nerve wracking drive through a sea of tricycles and a city that could use some zoning laws because right now it looks like it was put together in a hurry. Roxas City is messy and dirty. The river, trash ridden. We went to Baybay for dinner. A pity. The water was full of plastic bottles and all manner of trash. I imagine that Espacio's owners and management, being who they are, would have some influence, not to mention interest in keeping the city relatively presentable if they were to entice more tourists. What is the city mayor doing? What about the barangay captains, etc. How difficult is it to impose anti-littering laws? Having said that, we enjoyed the food at the hotel. We can't say enough about the staff, very attentive and ever ready to help. A pity that Roxas City, compared to it's neighbors, is a big disappointment. It's time for it to wake up and smell the garbage.

I used to book in a more expensive bigger rooms from the old building. Which I will avoid as it needed to be refurbished and already dated. This smaller deluxe one's are much better and a more standard accommodation. Cleaner, bigger, and better hot water system than the much bigger rooms. This is my 3rd year now of coming regularly into this place and it's still one of the most accessible hotel in roxas City. Plus it is just in front of Robinsons Mall where. They also have a transport to the airport free of charge which is very good and even prepare for a sandwich in case you can't have your breakfast :-) Will go back again next time I'm in town. P.S. there's a swimming pool at the rooftop

The thing that I really like about the hotel is its location right in the middle of everything. With its location, convenience comes next. The eating areas and town center must-sees are just around the corner and walkable. Transport links are convenient and you could easily take the tricycle or drop-by in front of the Inn almost round the clock. On the average, the staffs are friendly and courteous. The only thing that needs improvement is the wifi signal in the 3rd floor which needs to be restarted everytime whenever there is a complain. The wifi signal in the ground floor in the dining area or check-in counter is reliable. I think I will still go back to this Inn the next time around in Roxas City, Capiz.

Capiz Bay Resort leaves you the idea that the place used to give pride and honor to Roxas City. Without government help, resort with huge potentials, untapped beauty of nature, will forever be unknown. I hope there will be a day that this place will be revived both by the owner and the government who ought to take care of the infrastructure such as cemented roads, streetlight, road signage, etc. I want to thank Reynold who assisted me during my departure.

The hotel was a bit far from the city proper but it is closer to the Pueblo de Panay public transpo terminal. The staff were pleasant, very helpful and accommodating. In-room Wifi was a big plus, it was very fast. Only downside was those guest who were staying at the annex building would still have to walk to the main building to check in which was a few meters away. Nevertheless, excellent hotel, good value for your money.

We had an excellent stay. The staff was accommodating. if you're looking for a good location in the city and comfortable stay, this is NOT the perfect place to stay at. And it's just that Low water pressure. That's the problem in that hotel. Also the VERY ABUSIVE TRICYCLE DRIVERS in Roxas City. Imagine they charge us 150pesos tricycle ride from Tiza to Baybay beach for 4 people instead of 10pesos each. I know this is not a review for Tiza Manor Inn but they telling us that our location is far thats why they charge us that high but some of tricycle drivers are honest, some of them only charge us 10pesos each every ride.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was basic, but clean with everything in good working order. The food was acceptable, few choices and most were frozen, acceptably prepared by helpful staff. Just a short walk down the beach, or down the road (to the West) is a restaurant with a good variety of fresh sea food. I would stay here if I found myself in Roxas City again.

it is my second time staying in lhgh and it drove me to patronize your hotel. i don't have second thoughts in choosing lhgh even if its a bit in distance from the villareal stadium but it doesn't hamper my mind to stay in la hacienda. the staff were friendly & very attentive to all my needs. thank you guys for keeping me together with my friends. good luck. i will recommend lhgh to anyone i know who will go to roxas city. good job. just a small request, please plant more ornamental plants and take care of the garden it will add more beauty to your hotel.

I came early like 7am though check-in time is at 12nn, I was allowed to check-in cause the room is available. I stayed in a junior deluxe room with two single beds. The room was clean and neat, the sheets and comforter clean and comfortable. But the room is a bit small for two persons. I was alone so the space was just enough for me. They have no airport transfer and did not serve dinner so I have to go out for dinner. Breakfast is included for my room, and they offered to have it packed for my early flight out. The toilet though clean is also small. The place is not in the downtown center and there are no decent eating places nearby. But travel around Roxas city is easy with the tricycle which can take you anywhere for a very low price, like riding a jeepney. I asked for advice on where to eat and the front desk staff gave me helpful suggestions. Across the street is a KTV Bar which is up all night and I can hear the hum of videoke through my closed windows. The nice and helpful staff and convenient internet access which is important for me complement the simplicity of the accommodation.

Helpful staff. Room had a small fridge and cable tv, did not expect them in this price range (although Roxas City isn't really a tourist destination). Water pressure is extremely poor, so the shower is always too hot unless turned conpletely off. The shampoo bottle and toothpaste given to me were half emtpy. I don't usually use these anyway but it's annoying given that my room was meant for 2 people. Seafood is actually better in many other cities in the country.
